“Master Grimm, are you alright?” asked the worried Thousand-eyed Carcinus.

Grimm was breathing heavily as if he was rescued from drowning. His large sorcerer robes draped over his body as he bent down in pain.

Presently, he was as weak as a baby.

Grimm had outdone himself by sealing a cave tens of meters wide with ice more than thirty meters thick. Not only did he exhaust all the ice element energy accumulated by Ice Marrow Crystallization but he also depleted every ounce of Magic power within him and his Demon-Hunting Outfit!

Grimm was now in the same condition as Hill Wood’s Millie, who had also used the Ice Age Seal during the Holy Tower Apex Battle. He was so exhausted he could not even walk.

Puff... Puff ... Puff ...

Grimm, however, did not respond to the Thousand-eyed Carcinus’ concerns. Instead, he weakly whispered to Myna, “Little Myna, give me the Mask of Truth and another new Demon-Hunting Outfit.”

Grimm could barely speak, obviously too weak to slice open a Dimensional Gap.

“Ga? Oh, okay! I know what to do!”

Myna flew into the Dimensional Gap and cut open a crack. After pulling out the Mask of Truth with his beak, it then pulled a Demon-Hunting Outfit out of the Dimensional Gap with all his strength.

“Bloody hell, master, I’m so exhausted!”

The Demon-Hunting Outfit was simply too heavy for Myna, having strained each and every one of its muscles just to drag a Demon-Hunting Outfit out of the Dimensional Gap.

“Grimm!”

Other than Nairo, the rest of the Demon-Hunters flew beside Grimm, with stares and gawks of mixed feelings.

No wonder he had the guts to challenge a team lead by a Demon-Hunter with Honor Badge!

With everyone’s help, Grimm put on a new Demon-Hunting Outfit. His exhausted Magic Power immediately replenished, relieving him from the great pain and suffering of his depleted Magic Power.

As he put on the Mask of Truth with his shaky left hand, Grimm, a Dark Sorcerer, was reluctant to show weakness in front of others. Grappling his Sabbatic Goat Staff, Grimm stood up amongst the crowd and looked at his “masterpiece”.

The spell of Thousand Birds Frost Burst formed a powerful barrier with breathtaking layers of unbearably cold ice.

Gasp... In the outermost layer of the translucent ice, a group of flying squirrels could be seen trapped inside, frozen solid in strange and awkward postures. After that was a layer of bloody red ice. Beyond that layer, nothing else could be seen.

Catching his breath, Grimm groaned, “The mist of my homemade Demonic Blood Moss has permeated outermost the layer of ice. It should be enough to last in this enclosed space for several months without dissipating. The group of flying squirrels can’t hold up long against it. We are temporarily safe.”

“But how are we going to get out?” Saris frowned, asking questions from everyone.

“The way I see it, we can retreat to a few Burrow passages and escape through another cave,” said Lou Linman who voiced out her thoughts slowly.

On her shoulder perched her angry parrot, Leafie, “All these thanks to some myna. If it wasn’t for it, we would have been jolly well on our way back home.”

“Ga?”

Myna wanted to defend itself but could find no suitable words to react. It murmured instead, “I, Lord Myna, did not do that on purpose. I, Lord Myna, am not just any run-off-the-mill myna too.”

Myna’s voice went softer and softer, drowned by self-consciousness as he spoke.

Grimm shook his head, “It was not a disaster. Yes, there was trouble, but being found by these flying squirrels could earn us some extra reward of Sorcerer Essence.”

Extra Sorcerer Essence as a reward?

Sorcerer Essense always had its charm among sorcerers. Sorcerer-Apprentices would kill to be a Demon-Hunter, and Sorcerers would also risk their lives to participate in a Demon-Hunting Expedition mission. What else would they want other than Sorcerer Essence?

Everything within the Sorcerer World could be bought with Sorcerer Essence.

“How much Sorcerer Essense are we talking about?” asked the old sorcerer who first joined Grimm’s expedition.

Grimm pondered for a while before answering, “Five to ten pieces I presume. The actual number still needs evaluation of Battle Command before it can be finalized. I will now contact our Bright Sorcerer’s rescue team.”

Grimm took out his crystal orb and two pieces of Null World Stone, trying very hard to hide his weak condition.

Ignited by Grimm’s Magic Power, the Null World Stones vaporized into a cloud of white mist circling the crystal orb in his palm.

Over time, Grimm felt a close connection with a certain soul somewhere far away.

The crystal orb flashed, and after a vague beating, the elderly Bright Sorcerer Julni appeared. The old witch said gravely, “Grimm, are you in trouble?”

“Yes.”

Grimm responded with a similar tone, “It’s a swarm of flying squirrels. I was blocked at the exit in a nest of the world. The flying squirrels numbered to about 300,000 to 400,000.”

Julni’s old face changed to an expression of awkwardness, clearly looking uncomfortable.

“That many? Grimm, you know, although I took over a group of Soul Slaves, I’m just a leader of a team with 25 Demon-Hunters, ...”

Grimm seemed to have expected the response saying, “It doesn’t matter. Apart from you, I will contact another Bright Demon-Hunter team to aid us.”

As she nodding, Julni seemed to regain her calm. “Okay, tell me your coordinates.”

“Seven-seven-nine-four-six-three, six-eight-two-six-five-four-three-one, one-nine-two.”

Julni nodded, and after a moment of silent calculation, she raised her head and said, “After a month, I will reach your coordinates and join the team of other Bright Demon-Hunters that you called.”

“Okay.”

Grimm nodded, closed the crystal orb connection, and melted another Null World Stone.

Grimm crystal orb flashed and a moment later, Cameron’s handsome face appeared.

He stood on the back of an Abyss Dragon with a significant number of Soul Slaves Army behind him. Beside him stood a group of Bright Demon-Hunters.

“Grimm? You ...”

Grimm replied, “Cameron, please help me contact Captain Istanrima. There have been unexpected events, and I need your help.”

“Ah? Okay!”

Surprised as he was, Cameron rode his dragon to the front of the Bright Sorcerer team quickly, passing the crystal orb to his own Demon-Hunter team leader, Istanrima.

Soon, the crystal orb in Grimm’s hands reflected the image of an honorable Bright Demon-Hunter. He was old, yet stern and majestic.

“Well, Grimm, is there anything I can help you with?”

After the customary sorcerer greeting, Grimm said, “Master Istanrima, I encountered some troubles at coordinates 7-7-9-2, 6-4-6-3, 6-8-2-6 6-5-4-1, 1-9-2. I was blocked by a group of flying squirrels inside the exit of the World Nest. Your aid is sorely needed. ”

“Oh? How many are they?”

Istanrima seemed a little surprised, a hint of joy flashing in his eyes.

“Well ... about 300,000 to 400,000!”

The old witch was calm as she nodded. “Okay. I’m quite a distance from the coordinates you’ve provided me, and it’ll take me about two months to get there. Yes! Hehehe! I sure didn’t expect to be continuously called for missions!”

Soon after, she closed the crystal orb connection.

Grimm breathed a sigh of relief, put away crystal orb, and looked at the team members around him who were also relieved. He spoke in a deep voice, “So, let’s wait here, and they will contact us when the time comes.”

“Okay.”

Everybody left the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. They occupied a small area near the passage and went on to tend to their own business.

While slowly rejuvenating his Magic Power, Grimm took out a piece of strange fur in which he wanted to study the clues of the self-sealing knowledge system. He began to study it carefully.

One month soon passed.

Grimm took out his crystal orb again. A light curtain flashed, and Julni’s old face appeared.

“Grimm, I’ve reached your coordinates.”

Through the crystal orb’s light curtain, Grimm saw more than twenty Bright Sorcerer players and hundreds of Soul Slaves behind her.

Nodding happily, Grimm was massively relieved. He continued, “In a month’s time, the team of Bright Sorcerers I contacted will arrive. We can work together then...”

Another month passed.

Grimm led five other Demon-Hunters and flew out of the Burrow. Thousands of Soul Slaves and hundreds of Bright Demon-Hunters were fighting a fierce battle.

After taking a deep breath, Grimm gradually formed a dark red energy ball on the top of his Sabbatic Goat Staff.

“Fire Blast!”

Swoosh!

The dark red beam of light flickered.

With a loud roar, a dark red beam of light exploded among the flying squirrels, its billowing flames drowning out hundreds of them. The other five Dark Demon-Hunters behind him started their own battle as well.
