"Where were we?... Ah yes, the reason I called you here… I don't think I have to say it, no?"

"If you're so confident then you must've perfectly translated it." Dale replied with a smirk as he rested his head on his chair

"Correct, it didn't take me long, though it was harder than I imagined due to the fact they used more complex syllables to make the phrase."

"Since many of the websites for the translation of these languages just vanished without a reason or trace, I had to do it based on my previous understanding of the language and some books on the topic."

"On that topic, don't you find it strange how a lot of media and content about the previous game just kind of vanished?" Dale asked as he raised his left hand

"I do, but from the rumors I heard, there was some sort of hidden clause in the privacy agreement of Elden Throne that allowed them to delete everything they wished upon the end of the game's lifespan, and that period was taken as 15 years, which was how long the game's servers stayed open."

"There were several if not thousands of lawsuits against them, and I do feel sorry for those creators that relied on the previous game's content to make a living, but nothing came out of it."

"Also, there were a few warnings from Elden Throne over the course of several years regarding the closure of the servers and so on, as such, most of those lawsuits lost their ground as there was close to no one doing content on it even now."

"There are some valid ones like the people that used to make lore videos about the game even now had all of their videos taken out, but yeah."

"There was also the one-year interval between the end of the game and this one's release, so they gave the people a lot of time to adapt."

"The problem are the people that used to make a lot of revenue from old content they made during the golden days of the game, we'll have to see where that leads…"

"Weirdly enough, Elden Throne just went Deus Ex Machina and destroyed everything related to the past game, only private machines were left untouched, which is a blessing in this age, but with their power it wouldn't be hard to delete that too."

"I just have no idea why they would do such a controversial thing, I can't see a reason for that."

"..."

Dale did not reply, instead, he wondered.

How would those people react when they realized all that information they had referred to a real world and not just a fictional game scenario?

"That's also why some creators aren't as angry about this as others, because as long as you had a backup of your gameplay somewhere private, then it would likely still remain."

"And most people did have backups, one or two of them, some were even made automatically..."

"One of the issues however is that public companies that provide backup services were also swiped clean, another cause for the lawsuits… People these days just love to pull those damn papers for anything."

"They do have a reason, imagine years or even decades of effort gone even for places that were meant to be safe?" Dale asked with a light yawn

"I'm not saying that they're wrong, just that I find this situation abnormal." Ermin replied as he shook his head

"Regardless, the translation went smoothly."

"It doesn't mean anything important as you must've imagined, instead, those words are the enchantment nodes utilized for the Belt."

"But… Something happened when I translated all of the nodes." He said as he scratched his right cheek

"Something happened? A Hidden Quest?"

I expected something to happen if I explored this clue long enough, and I have always been positively rewarded for doing so.

But it seems Ermin got it first, not that it's a problem, two can participate in Quests and get the rewards.

"Kind of, you see, nothing much happened after I managed to translate it themselves, that was just me simplifying things."

"But when I finished translating, I tried to SpellString those words together, see if anything would actually happen."

"And did you do it? When I tried to even invoke the simplest rune, nothing happened," Dale said as he remembered his past attempt back in the Karkavan Village

"Yes, that happened to me as well, I had actually tried to inscribe the sigils as soon as stepped in Azimuth, after all, I used to be a Doom Invoker."

Doom Invoker, a Hidden Magic Class from the previous game with extreme offensive potential, it was different from other Classes since it's main point was casting Skills through voice inputs rather than through commands like most other Classes.

Because Ermin was more used to talking and singing like this, he successfully managed to play the entire tune by the Tutorial River and receive the hidden caster piece, Meraid Prism.

He recently started using it thanks to the Skill Books Dale sent him since before he had to act as a supporter due to his lack of Magic Skills.

"The Hidden Class, Spell Writer. It may look unimpressive, but I believe this may be the first step out of a long line of interesting Classes."

"Together with a Hidden Quest all about investigating the Origins of the Spell Writers… The problem is that I have no idea where to start, likely because I triggered it by utilizing unintended means."

"It's not that different from my previous one, though the gameplay seems a fold harder, though I could've gotten a bit rusty."I think you should take a look at

"I'll have to see regarding its offensive abilities, I have you to thank for that… And apologize."

"It wasn't my intention to steal this Class, if we do over the assumption no one can acquire it anymore." Ermin said with a sigh in an apologetic tone

"Oh, that? Don't get yourself worked up over it, I barely mind." Dale retorted with a shrug

'Seems like the runes did not give me insight into the story of the Elves but rather they may have been a hidden piece of sorts, maybe a clue from the old Elves, a memoir of them that confirmed their existence.'

'A gift for anyone that managed to interpret the runes, and given you had to cast it to actually activate its hidden effects, or maybe that's only reserved to Players in general.'

'Were it the former, it must've definitely been meant for one of their descendants to uncover.'

'But Ermin got it… Fate is truly cruel.'

"You can keep the Class, I have my own to deal with already." Dale said as he thought about his Status

"Your Quest… It's likely related to what happened here in the South, it's a rather long story."

"The South huh… I thought that would be the case." Ermin said with a pensive expression

He then smiled, pointing at the camera.

"Well, guess there's just one more reason for me to go there, the party's just starting."

"I'll be waiting but I'll give you a warning, you better quicken your steps, the city is growing by the minute and soon enough the players may start buying plots of land." Dale replied as he opened the game forums

"I can reserve a cool plot of land for you but the acceptance rate of the players regarding that may differ depending on whether or not my current identity remains the same."

'Let's see what the players think of Resko right now, are there any responses to the Survivors I brought with me?'

Dale was really interested in their perspective.

"Yeah… You're still having problems due to it, right?"

"Don't even talk about it, there isn't a day where I don't receive a DM from my friends, and not too long ago I was even called by a strange number I never heard of."

"And this number tried calling me more than once, and after hearing the message they left behind they seem to be from some sort of game website trying to make a coverage on me."

"Guess they couldn't call me through my In-game profile because I silenced it long ago..."

'Not long after I finished the tutorial and sold my items in the auction, I silenced my profile so I would stop being bothered by people.'

'Friends can still send me messages of course.'

'But I never turned it on since, maybe I should unmute it if possible now that the dust has settled a little.'

"They're already on your tail?!" Ermin spoke with surprise

"Maybe one of my friends spoke too much or this is just my bad luck, whatever it is I don't think I'll be able to keep this for long unless I manage to convince everyone of the contrary." Dale replied with a plain expression

"It would be really scummy to share that kind of information...."

"What can I do? That's just how life goes, accidents do happen and that is why you should accelerate on your plans if you wish to enter Resko amidst a time of peace, because I'm 100% sure the players will rebel once they find out how I've been dictating over them."

'I find it hard that one of my friends shared this info with others, but it's not like its only my friends I have to look out for.'

'Any of my Classmates or even anyone I ever met in my life could recognize me.'

"That is true, I would be more concerned if they kept calm."

"... Sigh... I don't think I'll be able to go South anytime soon..." Ermin replied with some disappointment

"Is it due to the Desert's environment?"

"That as well, after all, I wasn't the first to think about going South from here, other players did but they all died either due to the harsh environmental conditions or the hidden monsters that pop up from time to time."

"But even if I could avoid those, I have another issue to deal with..."
