Dr Lang's student, who was also working in the hospital and had been asked to get all the reports regarding one of Le Zheng's men, Ran, was shocked as he recalled the patient in the room number said by the person whom his teacher called Miracle Doctor.
He was shocked, to say the least, and the reason behind this was that when this said patient had been brought to the hospital about a day ago, he and the other few doctors were present and had attended him.
In fact, after seeing the initial x-rays and scans, the doctors had deduced that there were signs of minute cuts throughout the man's hand as if all of his hand had been internally sliced with numerous glass shards, but although the cuts seemed to have healed, according to their observations, the doctors had come to a conclusion that it had been a few days since the injury might have occurred a few weeks ago, or that's what they could conclude since the tears in the muscles showed signs which were akin to ones that had started to heal and were more than a week old.
But after they asked the people who had carried the patient, they said that he had some sort of accident just that very day and hence they had brought him to the hospital.
This shocked all of the doctors, if not for the fact that there was still some dried blood on Ran's hands and clothes which signified that he had been injured that day and the injuries which seemed to have healed had also occurred the same day they didn't dare believe what was in fact true.
It was because if the accident had indeed occurred that very day, then how come there wasn't even a single shard of glass they had found?
It was as if every single shard of glass had been sucked out like iron filings with the use of a magnet.
Meanwhile, after making a thorough examination, they gave a few medications and asked for the patient to have a proper rest since there were still some signs of bone fractures which should at least take a week or two for him to get out of the hospital.
But recalling what he had heard from the Miracle Doctor and also the fact that his teacher had also agreed and in fact had even seemingly exaggerated the time it would take for the patient to get out of the hospital, the young doctor couldn't help but be shaken.
"TINGGG"
While he was still thinking, the elevator reached his destination, the 10th floor.
With a somewhat blank look on his face, as if still in thought, he walked out of the elevator and made his way towards room number 1004.
As he looked around for the room, he didn't have to put much effort, not just because he was working there, but rather there were two men standing guard at the two rooms, within which were the two patients brought by the same group of men.
This kind of security made him wonder what they actually were.
From the looks of it, the woman patient seemed mentally unstable while the man who had an accident had a body similar to the men who had been with Ye Qian and also the two who were standing guard at the door.
So he didn't doubt that the patient was in fact their colleague, but giving such security to even his subordinates was something that amazed him.
"Hello, I am here to take a few reports of patient Ran, Dr Lang has sent me."
The doctor forced a smile seeing the serious look on the faces of the two as they stared at him.
"Hmmm."
With a nod, the one on the right moved aside, giving him way.
"Thanks," the doctor sighed in relief but couldn't help but wonder how could they let him go so easily.
Saying that he walked in, but the door was kept open.
However, the fellow didn't know that the two on guard had also been informed by Bo that he would be coming and there was no need to make things hard for him.

Meanwhile, on the 2nd floor of the building.
In an office of about an area of 600 square feet, something that was hard to find given the hospital's fame.
One should know that rarely would any single doctor be given so much personal space for their office, but not only was this office quite spacious, but in fact even decorated with the most simplest of designs.
The air in the office was filled with a flowery and fruity aroma and the source of this was a pot of tea which was being freshly brewed by none other than one of the head doctors of this popular hospital.
After giving the leaves a mix and keeping it aside knowing that there were still a few more minutes for it to be completely prepared, Dr Lang brought his attention to Ye Qian.
"I am sorry for not calling Mr Ye as Doctor, but I always feel that you also don't like being called that."
Since they met, he had been calling Ye Qian as Mr Ye and never had he called him as Doctor.
"You are right Dr Lang."
Ye Qian began and then continued.
"I am sure that you know that my method of treatment isn't the same as any that is known."
Dr Lang nodded.
"And given the conditions that one needs to fulfil to get that designation, I have not qualified them and hence I don't want to be called one."
Ye Qian said simply.
He knew that in order to get the designation of a doctor, people spend years practising, studying, giving entrances and much more.
Of course, he had also done the same and in fact, done so for hundreds of years, but according to the standards of this world, he wasn't actually a doctor per se.
"But this old man believes that if you can't be called that then there is no way that anyone else can be called one either," Dr Lang laughed aloud.
