It was Healed Instantly
Mengyao opened her eyes, looking at Yushu with questioning eyes. She felt that she’d a good nap just now. Her body was full of energy. It was a pleasant sensation, "Shu, did I fall asleep? Eh? Where is this place. Weren’t we in the classroom?"
"Oh! Yaoyao sis has finally woken up! Thank God. You got me so worried!" Yushu didn’t answer Mengyao’s question as she pulled onto Mengyao’s hand and hoorayed happily again, "Hoo! Hoo! Shield Bro, you are so strong! I’ve decided to be your friend again!"
While she was speaking, Yushu suddenly gave Lin Yi a hug and briskly pecked a kiss on his face.
As startled as Lin Yi was, he didn’t dwell on that thought for long when he saw the excitement in Yushu’s eyes. She was always acting in such a manner, so Pengzhan and Uncle Fu didn’t think that as an issue as well. Their attention was placed on Mengyao instead!
"Yaoyao, you’re finally awake, that’s great! How do you feel?" Pengzhan couldn’t believe that Lin Yi was able to rescue his daughter in such a short time. This was unbelievable and out of his expectation! He was completely perplexed. How did Lin Yi save his daughter? He didn’t seem to have done anything, other than just hold onto Mengyao’s hand for a moment.
Xuemin, on the other hand, was taken completely by surprise. What had Lin Yi done? How did he save a person on the edge of death to full recovery? Mengyao was energetic, no less. Could this really be a miracle in medical history?!
Only Uncle Fu had a different thought. He was aware of what Lin Yi did just now but it was still too absurd to be real! Other than that reason, he couldn’t find any better explanation for it!
In the world of martial arts, there was a legend saying that one could surge one’s body energy to another vessel through some masteries! This happened when someone was badly injured and another party came to rescue by sending the injured one his pure qi.
Of course, this technique had its limits. The injured one and the person supplying had to practice the same martial arts. If both parties were training different martial arts, their pure qi would differ from each other. Consequently, if they were to forcefully accept the pure qi, it would have a negative effect on the injured one, damaging instead of healing!
So how did Lin Yi do that? If Mengyao was a practitioner, he could understand. If their energies were similar, it would still have healing effects. However, Mengyao was no practitioner. She was just an ordinary person, so how did Lin Yi do that?
Uncle Fu was bewildered by the fact. Of course, as curious as he was, he knew that this art might involve with Lin Yi’s sect secret. It was a taboo for a practitioner to spy into other’s business, so Uncle Fu would never bring the questions up. Even though he was curious, he’d just bury it deep within his heart.
"I’m good. Besides, I feel so much energy flowing inside me now! By the way, why am I here?" Mengyao asked curiously. She wondered how did she end up on a hospital bed? Even her dad and Uncle Fu were here to visit her? Wasn’t she in the school just a second ago?
"Yaoyao sis, we were talking this afternoon, and out of the blue, you fainted! That scared the hell out of me so I sent you to the school infirmary, but it turned out that many students had fainted as well..." Yushu explained. "You don’t remember a thing?"
"Kinda. I was very dizzy that time, and fell asleep just that...." Mengyao recalled.
"Yeah, yeah, those doctors have even made a notice of critical condition for you. That’s totally ridiculous!" Yushu complained angrily. "I thought that I’d never see you again, but as soon as Shield Bro arrived, you were healed instantly! What kinda bullshit doctors are they. I’m gonna give them a good scolding later!!"
"Hehe..." Mengyao felt warm upon seeing the concern of Shu towards her. However, she was confused about what was going on. Naturally, Mengyao wouldn’t think that these doctors were charlatans. They must have their reasons to decide that, after all! Lin Yi must be the one who rescued her. It wasn’t as simple as what Yushu said! She turned her gaze towards Lin Yi and thanked him gratefully, "Lin Yi, thank you very much!"
"It’s nothing...." Lin Yi smiled bitterly. Mengyao waking up now was just temporary. Lin Yi could feel the energy being lost in Mengyao’s body as they spoke.
There was only one word to describe the rate at which her energy was being consumed losing speed.
Insane!
He believed that Mengyao wouldn’t hold very long before losing conscious again!
"Lin Yi, why don’t you have a look at the other students?" Xuemin thought of other victims outside.
"Yeah, lil Yi, can you lend a hand to other students as well?" Pengzhan knew that for his daughter waking up wasn’t as simple as he thought. He didn’t know if Lin Yi was willing to save the others like how he saved his daughter, so Pengzhan could only ask him a favor...
The noise in Mengyao’s room caught the attention of the parents from the other isolation rooms. They walked out of the room to see Mengyao sat up from her bed. In a second, they rushed into her room.
"Miracle doctor, please save my son, I’m begging of you!"
"Yeah, Miracle doctor, let me kneel down for you. Please go and save our son!"
The parents didn’t see clearly who brought Mengyao back to life, but it had to be either one of them in this room, so they called the person Miracle Doctor without a thought. The hospital had already given out the notice of the critical condition. If a person could wake the patient up, who could it be other than being a Miracle Doctor himself?!
Lin Yi saw the desperate eyes of the parents and looked at Pengzhan. He understood why Pengzhan had asked him for help! If these students were to have unexpected misfortune happened to them, then Pengzhan’s industries and his school would most probably be associated too!
What Lin Yi and Pengzhan didn’t know was that the Direwolf had started taking action as soon as he returned. After reporting to his workplace, he even asked them to post it on the newspaper, writing the poisoning event in the school and uploading the news into the newspaper’s website page.
This third-rate tabloid was under private management so it wasn’t that well-known. The director was still depressing on how to raise the popularity of the newspaper, but after seeing this breaking news, he would obviously never let this golden opportunity slip!
Hence, he agreed on the spot. He gave the Direwolf the role to follow up this case. He allowed the progress of the investigation to be shown on the internet and newspaper simultaneously! This gratified the Direwolf greatly. The title was set as "Unknown virus flooding in Songshan First School, could the school be a biohazardous ground?". The news went viral immediately on the net!
There was no denying that Direwolf was very treacherous. The title alone had attracted countless people’s attention! While the content was impressively written, he turned a news report to a horror novel, adding his personal opinions for the cause of these twenty-eight fainted students!
Having an unknown virus in the news went viral and raised a new uproar of the people who were concerned with infectious disease....
The school might have been cursed, and the fainted students were sent to the hospital but the doctors were unable to identify the problem. Worse of all, a critical condition notice was given directly by the doctors, no less!
