I looked at Ritor's baby in a crib. That little half-human moved his legs and arms, and his wide eyes kept on me.

"You can hold him if you want, my lord." Lana, standing to my left, said.

"Well, I'm not sure I'll do well." I glanced at Xenora on my right. "You hold him, Xenora."

The succubus let out a long breath. "I did once, and it made me want to have a baby, my lord. He's so adorable."

I laughed and triggered the baby to giggle.

"Doc once told me that my previous body couldn't create offspring." I shrugged. "And for this body, Doc needs to do more testing. But she said I might be capable."

That's why I used to not hold back at all in sex.

Xenora smiled. "Maybe it's just a matter of time who gets the baby first."

"Maybe." I m closer to my index finger to the baby. The little half-human was holding it and looked curious.

"Having a child gives me a really great feeling." Lana stroked her son's hair. "That's very hard to put into words. But I guarantee it will be worth it."

Children, huh? The talk I had with Xenora just now was just a joke. I don't feel ready to have children yet.

As a demon, I'm basically immortal, so there's no need for a successor to the throne.

"By the way, Ritor and I agreed to have you name him, my lord." Lana continued. "Without you, we probably wouldn't be able to unite, and he wouldn't be born."

I raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that?"

"We are absolutely sure, your majesty. It is a great honor."

I thought for a moment. "Is Ethan any good? That was my name in my original world."

"I think that's good." Xenora smiled.

"Yes, that's a good name, my lord." Lana's eyes started tearing up, though her lips formed into a smile. "Ethan, it is."

This could be said as a tribute to my former life. I can't forget it even though I left it.

"He will be a great warrior like his father, Lana," Xenora added.

"Let's hope he doesn't inherit his father's idiocy." I lightly touched Ethan Jr's cheek.

Lana and Xenora chuckled, and suddenly Ethan Jr.'s mouth scrunched up. Then that little half-human cried.

"Ah, it looks like he's hungry, my lord." Lana took her son. "I beg your pardon."

"Ah, we will go, Lana," I responded. "Please take good care of him. I consider him as my own son."

Ritor's wife bowed. "Thank you for your kindness, your majesty. It is truly our honor."

After the two of us exited Lana and Ritor's residence, I said to Xenora. "I want to be alone, enjoy the atmosphere of this place."

"Sure, my lord," Xenora answered as we walked through the cold autumn air. "I'll make sure no one gets in the way."

I approached Emily who was standing on the edge of a cliff, looking up at the starry night sky. I did ask her to meet me at this place.

"I'm sorry if I offended you, my lord." The supreme undead sighed. "I'm just worried about your well-being."

"How's your left eye?" I replied, stopping a few feet from her.

"Or the lack of it?" She chuckled, slightly touching the bandage on her face. "Surprisingly, it wasn't too painful, even though Doc said it would take longer to heal than usual. She doesn't know why it happened, even though she's seen my healing abilities... Why am I telling you all this?"

We fell silent, and I kept looking at her back.

"So far, how does it feel to be in a relationship with a man much younger than you?" I muttered to lighten the mood.

She turned her head to me. "Why do we suddenly ask like that?"

"No problem, right?" I chuckled. "I just want to know."

After pausing for a moment, the supreme undead shrugged. "I really like it, my lord. This experience is much more enjoyable than when I was alive hundreds of years ago, especially when trapped in that undead cave."

"I'm glad."

She frowned again. "What happened to you, my lord. Why do you look tense?"

"Tomorrow, I will do the unproven procedure." A small chuckle left my mouth again. "Of course, I'm nervous."

But that's not the only thing that makes me uneasy. There is something else.

"By the way. I feel that your face is more handsome than before." She touched my cheek with her cold hand. "Unfortunately, maybe you will return to how you were."

I laughed. "Even though I spent hours making my avatar to make it look as perfect as possible."

"I don't know. That may be why it looks too artificial.

"Ah, you always manage to cheer me up, darling." I smiled again.

Instead of returning my smile, she looked horrified. "Please, just say my name, my lord. It's wrong in my ear."

For the third time, I laughed. Despite saying that, she turned her face away, and her cheeks flushed red.

"Okay, okay." I cleared my throat and continued to stare at her.

"What?" It seemed that the supreme undead could sense something was amiss.

I took a deep breath, steadying my heart. Because I'm in my real body, I get nervous more easily. "In that world, I promised to give you a great gift, right?"

"I told you, I don't need…."

Her words were cut off as I knelt on the ground and opened a small red box, showing her a gold ring with a purple gemstone. "Marry me."

She widened her eyes. "Where did you get this ring?"

Although it felt strange that she asked like that, I still answered her. "That is a secret."

My ladies don't know that I have prepared rings for each one.

The supreme undead closed her eyes, took a deep breath, then smiled. "You know I can't refuse you, right?"

I widened a smile, then put the ring on her finger. She examined the ring with teary eyes and then looked at me again.

I've never seen her look this happy in all my time with her.

"I'm glad I finally become equal to that dragon bitch."

I chuckled for the umpteenth time, then pressed my lips to hers. She gave me a passionate hug.

When we broke our kiss, she asked. "But I'm still allowed to fight, right, my lord? I don't think I can rest easy without doing that."

"Of course." I run my hand through his hair. "You and the undead are great things to my empire. I want you to continue to help me forever."

A drop of her tears suddenly fell.

And I could tell right away that it wasn't a tear of joy.

"What's wrong, Emily?" I'm confused.

The supreme undead knelt down and sobbed. "I have something to tell you, my lord. I've had enough."
