818 Stature With Many faces
The Primordial beast's response was a spectacular display of its elemental might, unleashing a barrage of attacks that embodied the very forces of nature. Water as cold as liquid nitrogen, searing magma-like fire, corrosive acid, suffocating poison gas, devastating lightning, slicing wind blades, and cursing runes—each a testament to Salamander's formidable power.
This onslaught, aimed at Lenny with the intent to obliterate, would have spelled doom for any lesser being.
Yet, Lenny stood unfazed, a figure of calm amidst the storm of energies. With a deft wave of his hand, he redirected the elemental fury into his storage unit, a feat that underscored his mastery and control.
When the barrage ceased, and the dust settled, Lenny's smile was a prelude to his counterattack.
"Now, it's my turn!"
With a casual gesture, he unleashed the stored energies back at Salamander, a mirror of the beast's own assault.
The reversal was catastrophic. The energies that Lenny redirected at Salamander exploded with a force that shattered the surrounding architecture, reducing buildings to rubble and sending shockwaves through the city.
The explosion was a spectacle of destruction, a chaotic dance of elemental fury that enveloped Salamander in its embrace.
Yet, when the smoke cleared, Salamander remained, injured but standing. The injuries it sustained were testament to its resilience as a Primordial beast, a creature born of the world's nascent chaos and endowed with an almost indomitable vitality.
<Alert!!!>
<Magic: 300p remaining>
That attack had efficiently drained Lenny of all his magic points. Then again, this was to be expected.
After all, Lenny was only a rank 3 Great Demon, and the attack he had just received was from a rank 6 Great Demon Primordial beast.
The idea of sending back attacks using the system had always been in Lenny's head, but he had never done so until now. It was specifically because of the incredible consumption of magic points.
Nevertheless, the intent for this had been achieved. After all, he did not display his loss of magic points on his face.
He still carried that smug look as if the entire world was under his control.
And then Lenny raised his hands again, summoning Silver swords made out of magic.
The sudden sight of them suddenly made the Primordial beast shiver in fear, "Wait!!!" It screamed out to Lenny. "I am sorry... I am absolutely sorry... please don't hurt me any more. I'll give it to you. I'll give you the Invitation Stone."
Lenny smiled as he dropped his hand and the magic swords disappeared.
The Salamander, having shrunk its six heads into hiding, suddenly came out of its shell, "But please understand that I only have one... The other stone was stolen from me a long time ago..."
Although he said this, Lenny looked at it intently. According to Appraiser, the creature's body was increasing in temperature. Even when it had attacked Lenny only moments ago, its body did not increase in temperature so much.
Instantly, Lenny understood what was happening. This Primordial beast was trying to hide something, or perhaps destroy something.
This sudden realization made Lenny frown, and he waved his hands, summoning an old instrument that he had not used in a long time.
In the fluid dance of his conjuring, Lenny raised his hand, and from the mystical weave of energy, materialized a staff that bore the semblance of a colossal flute.
It was dried up and looked like useless wood.
However, this was none other than the Whistle Horn of the Hell beast, Vandora.
The moment it appeared, Lenny activated yet another ability. Novel Fire - novelfire.net
*LIVING EYE!*
This made one of his eyes suddenly shine out a golden hue to the environment. This was not the first time that Lenny was using this power.
However, he had gone back in time. This meant that he still had two more tries with it, and right now, he was using one of those tries.
With the number of times that Lenny had used the Living Eye of Lucifer, he had come to an understanding of how to control and direct its power more effectively.
Of course, his control was still shaky at best, but it did not matter. He did not allow the aura and presence of the Morning Star to go out in all directions. Instead, he directed it all to one point.
After all, this was an ace, and he did not want people like the Baroness knowing that he was back on Earth.
With its focus on the Whistle Horn, the Whistle Horn suddenly developed life, growing branches and leaves like a tree.
On seeing the instrument in Lenny's hand, Salamander knew what it was.
And it hastened to put more effort into destroying the Invitation Stones.
However, Lenny smiled as he blew into the horn.
*WHUUUUUUUUUU!!!*
The Whistle Horn was a weapon of thieves.
With the amount of energy forced into the Whistle Horn from the Living Eye, the power that the Whistle Horn displayed was incredible.
All of a sudden, certain items from inside the body of the Primordial beast appeared before Lenny's eyes.
Of course, amongst them were two Invitation Stones.
However, in total were five items. Two of which were cores.
One look at them and Lenny could tell that these two cores were the core of the Primordial beast.
It had six heads, and thus a core for each head. Lenny had stolen two of those cores and a last item. It looked like a little statue with many faces of different organisms on it.
Lenny did not know what it was for, and had no time to read through Appraiser about it.
Instead, he waved his hand, sending it all into his storage unit.
Meanwhile, Salamander screamed and growled loudly. Its pain was obvious.
"Lenny Tales! One day, I'll get you for this!!!" On saying this, one of its heads, the one for acidic gas, released green smoke all over its body.
Knowing the effects of the smoke, Lenny backed off. However, the moment he waved his hand, to blow the green smoke away, it...
