“Where did you get it? Speak the truth.” Li Qiye demanded.
“I… picked it up by chance.” The owner hesitated briefly.
“Picked it up?” Six-style had a skeptical expression because if this lucky cat were so magical, it wouldn’t have been left unguarded.
“Got a problem with it?” The owner said aggressively and glared at her.
“Where?” Li Qiye asked.
“It was in front of my shop one morning, it had to be a treasure from heaven to bring me wealth.” The owner said.
“A ghost like you shouldn’t believe in heaven and moreover, she’s not a treasure.” Li Qiye chuckled.
“Ha, close enough.” The owner chuckled awkwardly: “All in all, it worked so I have to keep it around.”
“Think about it carefully, it might bring death instead of wealth.” Li Qiye didn’t resort to force.
“Young Noble, scaring me won’t work. I hear threats too often.” The owner staggered backward and didn’t agree.”“I don’t need to resort to threats. I can just kill you and take it if I want to right now.” Li Qiye said.
“Young Noble, there’s no way a benevolent figure such as yourself will take my humble possession.” He became stiff and frightened, holding the lucky cat tighter.
“Forget it, I’m a cultured individual, not a robber.” Li Qiye waved his hand: “Let me know if you change your mind later.”
With that, he left the shop with Six-style.
“Come again if you have something nice to sell, Young Noble.” The owner shouted at his departing figure: “More dao fruits will do too.”

“That statue was alive?” Six-style asked.
“No life force right now, but someone purposely left a part of themselves behind.” Li Qiye said.
“In what sense?” She inquired.
“For example, separating the divine intent or the dao foundation from the self, but she left something else more unique.” Li Qiye said.
“What’s the purpose, was she expecting death?” She asked, thinking that there was more to the story.”
“Yes, but she still wanted to leave something behind in the ghost market, it’s interesting.” Li Qiye said.
“What a mystery.” She became curious.
“It’s not hard to figure out, just need to extract it.” Li Qiye said.
“So that’s why you wanted to buy it.” Six-style said.
“No rush, there are other interesting matters beforehand.” Li Qiye said.
They found that more people had arrived at the major ghost market during their stroll. After a while, a packed corner attracted Li Qiye’s attention.
All eyes were on a pagoda placed on the ground. It automatically released waves of power without being controlled.
The waves made others breathless - a testament to its power. Desolate gods and emperors were on the scene, equally amazed by this treasure.
“The primal level.” One desolate god shuddered.
“So I was right, this is a primal weapon.” One cultivator remarked.
Some had suspected this but now, the desolate god had confirmed it. Only one person in Sin could craft a similar weapon - Immortal Suppressor.
How were they lucky enough to come across one here?
“Why is it here in the major ghost market?” A first-timer asked, unable to come up with why the mightiest cultivator left their treasure here.
“The major ghost market has everything, primal ancestors do the same thing as we do. It could have been left behind willingly or from losing a bet.” Another said.
While everyone else only cared about the pulsing pagoda, Li Qiye observed the man sitting after it.
His embroidered robe was created with the utmost care. Every stitch and pattern were done perfectly. He was clean and rigorous, akin to a noble born with a golden spoon.
Unfortunately, a mortal noble could never possess his radiant aura. Though he was older, time left no marks on him.
He became a source of serenity amidst the rowdy market, completely unaffected by their boisterous shoutings.
