Someone laughed. “What a silly cub. It was supposed to look for a person, and what did it find?”
“That wooden box is so small it can barely fit a person’s ashes, let alone a person.”
“Why do I feel that Miss Feng Wu is bluffing?”
...
No one had much hope in Feng Wu.
They didn’t believe that she could find all three spies in a row. Moreover, if all three were to be found here, the Gu family would be so unlucky.
However, Steward Gu’s eyes popped when he saw the wooden box.
He glared at Feng Wu, and his eyes were bloodshot red.
Feng Wu patted him on the shoulder.”You spent a lot of time blocking my mind. Even if you turn into a human bomb now, it won’t be very effective. Just give up.”
Steward Gu glared at Feng Wu and wanted to swallow her whole.
She had done it on purpose!
The cub put down the box and looked proudly at Feng Wu.
Feng Wu rubbed its head. “Good job!”
The cub happily rolled around in her arms.
Meanwhile, Feng Wu opened the box.
Inside was a finely made bronze key.
Steward Gu bit his lower lip.
“What door does it open?” Feng Wu asked.
“You’ll never find it!” Steward Gu smiled eerily, and blood oozed out of his mouth.
He had hidden some poison in his mouth!
All eyes were on Feng Wu.
Someone said unhappily, “That was so careless of her! With Steward Gu dead, we’ll never find the last spy!”
Feng Wu ignored the complaint. She just grinned at the old man. “Do you think your death can stop me from finding that door? Let me remind you: While you were glancing around, you kept avoiding a single spot.”
Steward Gu wasn’t dead yet, so he heard those words.
He looked horrified.
“That is the place you were avoiding looking at, right?” Feng Wu threw the wooden box at the rockery nearby.
The rockery slid open to reveal a red door behind it.
The Gu brothers all looked at Lord Gu, surprised that there was such a secret chamber in the manor, but Lord Gu frowned because he didn’t know anything about it.
Steward Gu couldn’t believe his eyes.
Feng Wu chuckled. “People of Dongsang are so stupid. How can they fall for the same trick twice? Am I right, captain of the Jupiter Team?”
Steward Gu’s pupils contracted. He stared at Feng Wu until he dropped to the ground and died.
Feng Wu tossed the key to Feng Xun and let him take care of the rest.
Feng Xun opened the door.
Sunlight lit up the dim room, and they saw an injured person sitting against the wall.
The last spy was found.
What happened next was none of Feng Wu’s business.
She bid Emperor Wu farewell, saying that she needed to go home to her beautiful mother.
