Back at Sunflower Orphanage, Albion finished reading the miscellaneous information on the orphanage before putting away his phone.

Nevertheless, his mind remains preoccupied even when he tries not to think back on it.

Out of curiosity, he used Eyes of Asura to peeked inside the orphanage and found the person with cancer, Mother Stacy, mentioned in the miscellaneous information.

The person appeared to be in the late stage of pancreatic cancer with not much longer to live.

It didn't seem like something he could ignore, even though he was aware there were many people with cancer in the world.

He couldn't save them all, nor did he want to.

There was no benefit in it.

Even so, he didn't feel like ignoring the person in front of him.

"There's nothing to gain from this, yet I can't help but feel like saving at least this one person from cancer," Albion muttered before chuckling to himself.

He was a fool.

Cancer ruined his previous life, so he wanted to save at least one person from cancer to give some closure to his previous life?

Clearly, he hadn't absorbed enough of the Dark Emperor's memory fragments if he could still think and be this foolish.

"Foolish, naïve, hypocrite, whatever it may be. It doesn't matter; no need to overthink it. Since I want to save this person, then save this person, I shall."

Albion decided.

With a single step, Albion disappeared from the small hill and arrived at the orphanage entrance before entering in a ghostly manner without the kids outside noticing.

"She is also here, huh? Not surprising, though."

Albion casually remarked while glancing through the kitchen in the back with his crimson gaze before proceeding to enter the nun's room.

The door creaked under the slightest movement, and the noise woke up the dying nun, Mother Stacy, from her slumber.

"Is that you, Estelle—"

Smack!

As Mother Stacy slowly and weakly turned her head to see who entered, Albion accidentally knocked her out on reflex as if he was a guilty thief sneaking into someone's home.

Except, he didn't steal anything yet…

"Ah, sh*t… I f*cked up. That wasn't meant to happen…" Albion scratched his head while feeling at a loss.

He was strangely nervous about this operation.

"Welp, what's done cannot be undone," Albion softly muttered.

He placed a finger in front of the nun's nostrils and checked her breathing before confirming that she was, indeed, still alive.

Thank f*ck.

"Fortunately, I didn't use too much strength… What a tragedy it would have been to kill the person I was trying to save."

Albion's lips twitched as he thought that.

Ultimately, his reflex was based on his unwillingness to interact with the person. He only wanted to save the nun from cancer; it did not matter whether the nun wanted to be saved.

Yes, it was all about his own selfish wish and had nothing to do with any noble goal.

"I haven't seen or heard of anyone that doesn't want to be saved from cancer, so be grateful that you've met me—"

Just as Albion slit his finger and prepared to feed the person his nun, he suddenly paused and thought, "Hm, that's not right."

"She nearly met me, but I knocked her out…so it should be; she should be grateful that I met her—Hm, but this doesn't seem right either… How can she be grateful if she never met me?"

While Albion was in a dilemma over his own stupid thoughts, he eventually gave up with a shake of his head.

"Whatever, I'm too lazy to continue these nonsensical thoughts," Albion muttered.

Shortly after, he pinched the nun's mouth open with two fingers before dripping his crimson blood into her mouth.

"Although the blood of a True Immortal cannot cure cancer, even a drop of it is enough to restore a mortal's vitality and add several years to their lifespan. However, the most important aspect of my True Immortal blood in this operation is neither those two points, but its regenerative properties."

Not long after Mother Stacy's body received Albion's blood, a healthy shade of redness returned to her face as her paleness faded like the receding waves.

"Ugh… my head… W-Who are—"

Smack!

Mother Stacy slowly regained consciousness due to the effect of the Albion's blood, but not for long before Albion viciously knocked her out again with a wack on the head.

"Sorry, but please stay quiet until I'm done. I'm not interested in talking," Albion stated indifferently to the nun, although she couldn't hear him anyway.

Shortly after, a strong sleeping pill was fed to the nun to prevent her from waking up during the operation.

After a few moments for it to take effect, Albion relied on [Eyes of Ashura], [Empyrean's Decree], and [Ashura Flames] to locate, destroy, and remove all the cancer cells while controlling the blood loss after opening up the nun's body to operate.

His gaze was indifferent, and his hand movements were casual yet steady as if he was pulling out weeds from the ground.

Half an hour quickly passed before Albion removed the last part from Mother Stacy's body and tossed it to a corner of the room.

A pungent stench of blood and scorched cancer parts that pervaded the bedroom was sterilized with black flames, but the scattered blood and flesh left in the room looked like someone was brutally murdered.

If not for Albion supplying his blood, that would have indeed been the case.

Albion eventually left the room as is after making sure all the cancer cells had been removed and that the nun's body was on the road to a full recovery due to the lingering effect of his blood.

The pleasant aroma of beef stew was quickly picked up as Albion quietly made his exit from the orphanage.

"Fenriri, time to go."

"Huh, Master? When did you get there?" Fenriri responded with surprise.

"Boss!"

"Boss!"

Wuxin and Sally quickly greeted with serious yet clumsy and cute salutes if they've been fed stimulants shortly after spotting Albion.

He smiled and patted them both on the head before continuing to leave after a few parting words and promised to see them again.

"Master, can we stay and eat?" Fenriri requested after picking up the delicious scent of food that came out with Albion.

However, Albion declined, "No, I'm still leaving, with or without you."

Fenriri was saddened by Albion's answer and appeared to have an internal struggle between staying for food or following him.

However, she ultimately decided to chase after Albion.

"At least you are loyal enough," Albion smiled and patted Fenriri on the head.

Fenriri wagged her fluffy tail as she replied, "Fenriri knows there will be more delicious food to eat by following Master."

"…"

Albion froze.

In the end, she was still loyal to food.

"You little… glutton."
