After Dum Gai plunged from the thirty-story building and painted the concrete pavement below in a crimson color, everyone on the rooftop quickly snapped out of their daze with alarm.

"Shoot him!" The lackey cried while drawing his handgun on Albion.

The snipers immediately reacted, drawing their own handguns from their chest pockets instead of their heavy Barrett M107 rifles.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Numerous shots were immediately fired!

At the same time, Albion's red eyes emitted a stronger glow before he waved a single hand in a series of blurs with the other one behind his back, catching all the stray bullets directed at him with a casual and poised look.

However, after he peeked at the bullets in his hand, he realized the pointy tips were all blunted.

Obviously, he had failed to properly catch the bullets and relied on his fleshly body's powerful defense to block the shots with his hand.

Albion's lips twitched.

Catching bullets was harder than he thought. Nevertheless, what he did probably looked cool to the others. Probably.

The two dozen or so bullets in his hands were quickly vaporized with Ashura Flames after melting before Albion scattered the black ashes to the wind, removing all traces of his failed attempt.

At the same time, the lackey shot the two snipers a glare, "Why are you using regular rounds?! Quickly use the special ammunition!"

However, the two snipers did not respond.

They simply stared back at the lackey—or rather, they were staring back at the person behind the lackey with wide eyes.

After a soft yet sturdy hand patted the lackey on the shoulder, the lackey flinched before he turned his head back and trembled in apology, "I'm very sorry."

"That's okay." Albion nodded casually before he held out a clenched fist and asked, "Do you know what this is?"

"O-ho, that's a pretty big fist you got there. Ahahaha…" The lackey chuckled nervously before Albion punched him in the gut.

"Bleurgh!"

The lackey immediately vomited a mouthful of blood after Albion's fist shattered his bones and crushed his bones with an Earth-Shattering Fist.

"Please let me go…" The lackey pleaded with a pale expression.

"Hmm…" Albion appeared to be contemplating before he casually said, "I'll let you go if you can withstand another two of my fists. Think you can take it?"

The lackey trembled.

There was no way he could take another two punches when the first one already took most of his life and nearly sent him straight to the netherworld.

"Please have mercy…" The lackey pleaded before Albion clutched his head with a single hand. "Please! I will submit—arghhh!"

The cry was short before the lackey was no more.

The two snipers shook in their boots when they watched the lackey, a Level 7 Hunter, get reduced to ashes by black flames in a short instance.

"A quick death can be considered mercy…" Albion muttered.

Shortly after, he shifted his gaze towards the remaining snipers on the rooftop before he started asking a seemingly random question, "Have you two ever tried ropeless bungee jumping?"

The two snipers shook their heads vehemently.

"Do you two ever want to try, though?" Albion continued to inquire out of simple curiosity as he recalled kicking the boss off the building earlier

The two snipers glanced at each other with despair and determination. Perhaps, jumping off the thirty-story building was better than getting burned to death.

"Ahhhh—mommy!" The two snipers quickly screamed together after taking the jump.

Albion appeared taken aback before he quickly reached the edge of the rooftop and glanced down at the two snipers plunging to the deaths.

"I didn't ask them to jump, did I?" Albion seemingly asked himself before shaking his head with a sigh, "Haiz, these two sure like to jump to conclusions… no pun intended."

[…]

Goldfinger was speechless.

If the snipers knew what Albion was thinking, they would have been indignant with their deaths. Obviously, Albion was the one who hinted for them to kill themselves!

Shortly after, Albion frowned and sat on the edge of the rooftop, seemingly not in a hurry to clean up the rest of the Bloodmoon Gang.

Albion stared into the blank with a bit of absentmindedness before he asked Goldfinger with a sigh, "Have I changed?"

[More than you know it.]

Goldfinger answered.

Once he received his answer, Albion lapsed into silence.

Thinking about it, he had always been the quiet introvert type. He cannot imagine the past him doing what he does these days. On that note, the change did not seem so bad.

The big clock tower ticked as time slowly passed during Albion's quiet contemplation. Sometime later, he stood up and said, "Since I can't reject it, I will embrace it."

Shortly after, Albion glanced at an earpiece that seemed to have fallen from the Bloodmoon Gang's branch leader after his violent kick.

"Boss Gai, can you hear me? Team one, what about your side?"

"Please answer if anyone hears me. What is going on over there?"

After picking up the earpiece and placing it in his ear, Albion listened to the other side, asking many questions and seeking answers.

"Ahem." Albion cleared his throat before he spoke, "Due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, Boss Gai is currently busy. However, he had placed me in charge of tonight's operations before he left."

Hearing an unfamiliar voice, the other side fiercely questioned, "Who the f*ck are you? Why would the boss give his earpiece to you? Where is the boss?!"

"Even the boss cannot defy nature's calling, alright?! Do you want to hear the boss chuck his sh*t or something?! Who the hell are you to question what the boss would and would not do?! Do you want to die?" Albion responded back even more fiercely.

The other side was immediately dumbfounded and, at the same time, intimidated by Albion's fierceness.

"May I ask who I am speaking to, sir?" The man asked carefully while a humbled expression.

"My name is Huda Phuc Aryu Tuu, the new person in charge of you, runts! You got a problem with that?! If not, then hurry the f*ck up and get all your asses over here immediately! We already lost the target and need to revise tonight's operations, understand?! You should know where we are!"

"U-Understood, sir! We will be over there very shortly!"

The other man on the other side replied while wiping the sweats off his forehead, uncertain of who the new superior he had offended.
