"Do we have to undress him?" Arlan asked while looking at Winter.
Winter shook her head as she replied. "Just leave him with a pair of shorts."
Arlan asked two soldiers to remove Fabian's patient gown and help him put on a pair of shorts. He then told the soldiers to place him inside the glass chamber.
The soldiers carefully carried Fabian and slowly submerged his body into the liquid inside the Regeneration Capsule.
After they covered the glass chamber, Winter activated the capsule. It had a touch screen function and she only need to choose what kind of treatment Fabian will undergo. Soon, more than ten wires slowly moved towards Fabian's body like little serpents. The tip of these wires had micro fingers that would attach to the patient's body. They are responsible for observing the condition of the patient and the results of their observation would be displayed on the monitor of the capsule.
Fabian's wife and daughter watched everything nervously.
"Madam, Miss... I hope that you can keep everything you see in this workshop a secret." Arlan muttered solemnly.
The mother and daughter pair stared at each other before they nodded their heads.
"I promise you that we won't tell a soul about everything we witnessed." Fabian's wife said as she clutched her daughter's hand. She didn't know if her husband could recover with the help of this machine, but Arlan was the only person who gave them hope and she will never betray her benefactor.
After getting their promise, Arlan turned his gaze to Winter and patted her shoulder. "I'll leave them in your care. I'll go and entertain our guests first."
"You should think of a way to get those doctors to work for you. You know that I still have a project to take care of." Winter whispered coldly to him.
Hearing this, Arlan hurriedly left the workshop.
When he entered the villa, he found Zenny and the other guests in the guest hall. They were chatting with the maids. To be more accurate, they were asking the maids all sorts of questions about Arlan.
Arlan heaved a sigh of relief after seeing that his parents weren't there. 'It looks like I have to buy a separate mansion for myself...' He muttered in his heart. There were some things that he had to hide from his parents and it would only be awkward if they happen to see those things. He also didn't want them to feel worried all the time so it was necessary to keep them a secret.
The maids bowed when they saw Arlan walking towards them.
"Boss!"
"You guys may leave. I want to talk with our guests in private. Don't let anyone come in, including my parents." Arlan said to the maids before he took a seat.
The maids bowed at him and left the guest hall.
"Thank you for understanding, everyone. I know that you have a lot of questions, but some things are better left unsaid... I can assure you that Fabian is in good hands." Arlan spoke as he stared at the police officers and the doctors.
Among them, Zenny was the only one who dared to stare straight into his eyes. After seeing all those armed men, even the police officers felt a bit nervous.
"Mr. Roa, I really hope that you can help Sir Fabian recover." Zenny said in a cold voice. She thought that everything was very questionable. It was like Arlan was hiding something from them and this feeling made her a bit uncomfortable.
"You don't have to worry about that. Fabian is my friend and I even consider him as my uncle." Arlan smiled at her.
"I will give you a month. I will hide this matter from the media and the police, but you have to give me an explanation after one month." Although Zenny didn't like Arlan, something within her was telling her to believe in him.
Zenny stood up and said. "We won't stay here for long. Goodbye." The other police officers gave Arlan a salute before they followed Zenny.
Arlan didn't stop them from leaving.
"Mr. Roa, now that we have brought Sir Fabian here, we should also get going." Dr. Mariano felt nervous in his presence. He just found out after seeing his soldiers that Arlan was not just an ordinary rich guy.
"Hold on, Dr. Mariano. I have some things that I want to discuss with you." Arlan gave the doctors his friendliest smile, but this made them flinch in their seats. They felt like they had become prey for a carnivorous beast.
"Mr. Roa, if this is about your soldiers, you don't have to be worried about that. I promise you that we won't say anything." Dr. Mariano forced out a smile.
"It's not about that." Arlan shook his head.
"Then what is it?" Dr. Mariano adjusted his clothes as he stared at Arlan.
"What do you guys think about working for me?" Arlan asked with his legs crossed.
The eyes of the three doctors widened upon hearing this.
"I'm sorry?" Dr. Mariano couldn't believe his ears.
"I want to know if you are willing to work for me." Arlan smiled faintly at them. He didn't trust them in the slightest and the only way to stop them from exposing what they had seen was to make them work for him. 'Winter must have thought about this.'
Dr. Mariano became silent. He was a surgeon and he was also a licensed physician. In short, he didn't lack money. As for the other two doctors, they were new doctors and they began to hesitate after hearing his offer.
"How much will you pay us?" One of them asked. It was the female doctor wearing a pair of glasses.
Arlan grinned when he heard this. "I know that new doctors like you two only earn about 60,000 to 80,000 pesos. If you work for me, I can give you a base salary of 120,000 a month. You will also receive some bonuses and benefits."
The two young doctors were tempted upon hearing his offer.
"I am willing to work for you." The first one who accepted his offer was the young female doctor.
"I'm also willing!" The other doctor also accepted his offer.
Dr. Mariano didn't say anything. Although 120,000 was a lot of money, it wasn't much compared to his salary.
"Dr. Mariano, if you are willing to work for me, I can give you a base salary of 300,000 pesos. What do you think?" Arlan's voice was like a devil's temptation.
Dr. Mariano's salary was only around 190,000 pesos per month, including his bonuses. Arlan's offer was almost twice his salary, a very big jump. "Do I have to do some unethical things?" He asked seriously. He didn't want to be involved in illegal activities. It was against his principles.
"Of course not. I only need doctors to keep an eye on Fabian and my people." Arlan chuckled. Did he look like a criminal in his eyes?
