Chapter 329 - Leaving Fang's School Of Martial Arts.
Ichiro slowly sneaked and entered the front lounge, which was in ruins with the broken ceiling and rock debris littering the ground.
A small shimmer of light escaped the broken windows.
''The night is over…'' He murmured and understood the impact of this night. It will change the world, and it won't be in a good direction.
He didn't hear any noises, but it didn't reduce his seriousness even a little bit.
''Interface…'' He muttered under his breath and pressed Inventory; he planned to grab the Spearless but didn't see it anywhere.
''Eh?'' Ichiro facepalmed and turned around to look at the corridor where he came from.
He had to move stealthily, trying not to make any noise during his walk in the corridor, and now he has to go back?
''I forgot Spearless… Damn it.'' He was about to start making his way back, but then System interrupted.
[Spearless is not in Damio anymore]
''What?!'' Ichiro shout whispered, ''What do you mean?''
He never received a reply, which made Ichiro enraged after knowing that he had lost his spear, which was one of the reasons he was still alive.
Taking a couple of deep breaths to calm his anger, he finally started focusing on the task at hand.
It was to find whoever was alive and hopefully find a way to return to Arya.
With his body low, he walked past the broken windows, and unluckily, the floor around the windows was littered with broken window pieces.
Carefully, he moved around the broken glass pieces, trying not to break them more or get injured by them.
Slowly but steadily, he managed to pass them and arrive at the doors that led to the front yard.
He put his hand on his chest and calmed his heartbeat before peeking outside the building.
The things he saw made him truly speechless. Corpses littered the ground, while the burnt wooden logs that were used as the bonfire was still on the place where the bonfire was.
It reminded Ichiro about the night, which was full of laughter.
But now… He remembered most of the faces of the green-robed figures, who were full of life, but now dead in the ground.
It wasn't only green-robed figures; there were even black-robed and golden-robed figures.
Ichiro left the building and dodged the corpses in the ground, making his way over to the gates, which led out of this place.
But, before reaching, he saw a green-robed figure with golden lining crying buckets, while a golden-robed figure was lying on a pool of blood.
''Len?'' Ichiro widened his eyes and ran towards him.
His footsteps were heard, causing Len to warily turn around with teary eyes.
After seeing who it was, he relaxed significantly.
Ichiro stopped a few meters away from him and widened his eyes after seeing the man whose dead corpse looked pale.
''Grandmaster Fang…?'' He couldn't believe his eyes as Grandmaster Fang was dead on the ground with slash and cut wounds all around his body.
Even his face had a massive slash wound, reaching all the way from chin to his ear.
''He died… Fighting against an opponent who was only playing around.'' Len wiped his tears and angrily looked at the bright sky, the laughter of the disfigured man still ringing on his ears.
''I swear… One day… I will kill him!'' He stood up and looked around the yard with a pained gaze. He saw the corpses of the girls with who he had fun during the bonfire.
''I will kill them all!'' He screamed and covered Grandmaster Fang's body with a white blanket.
''Come with me… Let's leave this place before any more of those guys comes.'' Ichiro tried to persuade him, but Len had no intention of leaving.
''No… I won't leave this place…'' Len looked at the destroyed building and looked more determined than ever, ''I will rebuild this place. One day, Fang's School of Martial Arts will be known everywhere, and only a mention of its name will bring the evildoers to their knees.''
Ichiro sighed and walked past Len, continuing his walk towards the gates.
''Start walking north— you will find a way to leave Damio from there.'' Len's words rang in Ichiro's ears.
Ichiro gave a small nod and left the Fang's School of Martial Arts. After walking through the open gates, he saw the stone path in front of him, which he used to leave the hill.
He turned north, and during his walk in the grassland, he saw the destruction around him.
Mountains after mountains crashed down with beautiful trees pulled out of their roots.
Even the grassland was messy, with dirt and pieces of earth dug out.
Walking over an hour, the destroyed building was far enough to not be noticeable anymore, but a cloud of black smoke could still be seen.
Ichiro reached a dirt road, which led to another direction from the Fang's School of Martial Arts.
A forest was surrounding the dirt road from each direction, but Ichiro understood that Len talked about this dirt road.
This dirt road will take him to where he needs to go.
He didn't waste any more time and started walking on the dirt road. His bare chest was visible, and only pants, which were on rags was his clothing, barely covered his privates, leaving most of his athletic body visible.
His face was slightly dirtied and his body as well; it is clear that he has been in a battle of life and death and came out as the victor.
''Damn…'' Ichiro stopped walking and looked at his destroyed shoes, that was already ripped from the sides when he used his Ultimate Technique, but now it's barely covering his feet, making the walking very uncomfortable.
He took off the shoes and threw them into the forest before continuing his walk.
But this time, the tiny pieces of rock on the dirt road were making the walk very uncomfortable and slowed his pace greatly.
''This will be a long walk…'' Everywhere he looked, there was only a forest and no soul in sight.
He doesn't know how long his walk will take, but even if it takes a month, a year, a decade.
He won't stop.
