After ending the battle, Alex was ready to take the loot from the Rhino when he felt all his strength leave his body and fall on his back while still conscious.
Alex was alarmed by his situation, as with every passing second, he felt hollow and depleted while his mind became muddled as if a heavy fog descended upon it, his thoughts slipped through his grasp, and his ability to concentrate eroded.
Alex couldn't do anything about his situation because even though he was conscious, he had no control over his body or mind.
After an hour, Alex regained some clarity and found himself lying on his back near the dead Rhino, and standing beside him was Lady Margaret, who told him the reason for his condition.
Alex entered a state of coma because he depleted all his soul energy using the Soul Infusion Skill, and as he was still feeling fatigued, he decided to check the system notification log.
'So I will be staying in this weakened state for Six Hours which is not bad seeing how broken the Soul Infusion truly is,' Alex thought, with a smile not even a bit bothered by the De-buff.
Alex could maintain the Soul Infusion Skill for sixty seconds before he burned through all his soul energy and entered an 80% debuff state for the next six hours.
But the heavy De-buff was completely justified by the devastation Alex could cause using the skill, as he had killed a world Boss in just three strikes not long ago.
"Lady Margaret, This should be a good time to learn about the history of what happened after the death of Dryad Empress Aelrie and the World Tree," Alex said as he took an upright position, trying to adjust to his weakened condition.
ƥandasnovel·ƈom The history of the Dryad Empress Aelrie and the destruction of her empire was linked to a World grade quest, and Alex discovered it after he learned about the origin of the Life Guardian Legacy Staff.
Alex was more interested in knowing the history of the Royal Dryads and the destruction of their empire than the world quest itself, at least for now, because he had other things planned.
"The World was invaded by a nightmarish creature more than a millennium ago, whom history remembers as Chaos Spawns because of their ability to grow stronger the more chaos and death they spread."
"The Chaos Spawn Queen [Malgortha, The Devourer of Realms], a nightmarish creature who had a Domain that devourer the very essence of World Law, making it impossible to utilize any elemental abilities in her presence,"
"Malgortha was also able to create void rift summoning unending armies of Chaos Spawn monstrosities which coupled with her own strength made her a truly apocalyptic threat,"
"The world was thought to be doomed when one faithful day, Malgortha faced Empress Aelrie, The Life Guardian, and no one knew what happened, but Empress Aelrie walked out of the void as the victor."
"She won the battle, but at the cost of her pure vessel getting corrupted, and to cure her precious daughter, the Mother World Tree did everything in her power but still couldn't save her life," Lady Margaret said, her voice carrying a tint of sadness but also great admiration.
"The battle between Empress Aelrie and the Malgortha had far-reaching consequences beyond her demise," Lady Margaret continued.
"The corruption that consumed her pure vessel spread to the world tree, the heart of the Dryad Empire. It caused chaos and instability, leading to a series of catastrophic events that eventually brought about the downfall of the empire and the mother tree."
As Lady Margaret spoke, Alex's mind pieced together fragments of history, envisioning a once-thriving empire filled with a peaceful and life-loving Race crumbling under the weight of corruption, its cities ravaged, and its people scattered.
Lady Margaret told Alex how, with the absence of the Chaos Queen Malgortha, all the Chaos Spawns were hunted down, and the world once again knew peace.
After hearing the history, Alex's head rang with the system notifications as he received the world quest, a thing of legend.
'The rewards are truly enticing, but the quest's difficulty will also be proportional to these mind-boggling rewards.' Alex thought, looking at the quest information.

"Lady Margaret, You know where I can find a world tree seed," Alex asked, trying his luck.
"Domain Ruler, I don't have any information on where to locate one, but The Elf clan might have some information about how to find a world tree seed," Lady Margaret replied with her bright smile.
'I will focus on the quest in the future when I am free, but for the next few months, I will just focus on progressing my strength and strengthing my organization,' Alex thought as he stood and walked close to the Rhino.
Alex was about to collect the loot from the world boss when he received a system notification and any notification but an emergency alert.
[VR Capsule Alert]
[Your little sister Sophia is trying to access the Ancient World (For Children) using The J_210 VR Capsule registered in your Name]
[Grant Access: Yes/No]
Alex was surprised to see the notification as he had asked his sister if she wanted to play the game a few times in the last few weeks, but she didn't show any interest, but now she was trying to use his old Vr capsule, which he had replaced no more than a few hours ago.
Alex wanted to confirm if Sophia had permission from his mother, but to not keep his sister waiting, he granted access to the VR capsule while deciding to log out after returning to the city to inform his mother.
Alex would never have imagined that Sophia joining the Ancient world would change the fate of both worlds, whether for better or worse, that only time will tell, to him and everyone.
Alex collected the core of the Rhino, which he needed to complete the quest, and left the area toward the nearest city, with his destination being the Ice Kingdom.
Alex reached the city, rented a hotel room, and then logged out to inform his mother about his sister with the intention of returning in five minutes, but the break lasted for close to thirty minutes.
Alex's mother knew about Sophia joining the Ancient world, but she was still concerned about if it was safe for children of young age to enter the Ancient world even though she had already researched everything about it on the internet.
Alex reassured his mother that it was completely safe, as all children younger than sixteen were sent to peaceful villages with everything from fighting among selves and dangerous creatures, and even any kind of bullying or bad language was wholly restricted.
Alex then returned to the Ancient World, took the teleportation service, went to the Ice Kingdom, and made his way directly toward the Blacksmith Thogrim shop.
