" There are no weak powers, Angakok… only weak users ".

It seemed to be only yesterday when his master was giving him this lesson in the village training grounds.

Angakok had always been different from the others in the village, a young boy fascinated with strength and determined to become the strongest one around.

ραΠdαsΝοvεl ƈοm His master, a mortal, was the village healer and special ability user.

He could talk to the animals, he could concoct medicinal potions to heal wounds and could pray to the gods of nature to reward the village with a bountiful harvest and good rain.

He was the shaman that Angakok wanted to become when he grew up, but it all changed when he saw that kind, fatherly figure of a master, mercilessly raping his mother because his father owed him some money and would not pay back the loan.

His entire world view shattered that day and he began detesting everything that his master stood for, becoming a shaman but not the healing kind, but rather a shaman bent on learning the most destructive attacks possible.

It did not take him long to become the strongest on his planet, and once he became a god the possibilities for him became endless as he began to travel the universe and learn new skills.

Old wounds had healed by now and he took in a disciple, becoming a master himself now as he stayed true to the boy and taught him everything he had to teach.

Memphidos was on the verge of surpassing him when Angakok got the time seed a treasure that he did intend to share with Memphidos when the right time came, however, blinded by the greed for the tier10 seed Memphidos betrayed him, and put him into coma for thousands of years.

The universe slowly forgot the name of Angakok, the great blood shaman god until he was awoken from his slumber with all that was once good inside him dead when Max summoned his powers.

Betrayed by his master, betrayed by his disciple, Angakok became much more cold and calculative when dealing with Max.

All he was after was a chance to grow past the mistakes he had made in his foundation and achieve new heights that he never could before.

Even now, although he had the strength to, he did not have the heart to punish or kill Memphidos.

All that Angakok wanted was to become a tier9 being so that his disciple came crawling back to him for help, wondering how could he too become a celestial and it would be then that Angakok would reject him in what would be the perfect revenge.

It was a childish motivation, especially for a god like Angakok, but for a man like Angakok who had never loved a woman in his life, his disciple was the only individual he had genuinely bonded with.

So when he was chided with words that triggered some of his deepest memories, a raw primal fury was unlocked inside the shaman god as he looked at Max with newfound hatred and said " Since there are no weak powers, let's see you try and stop this - "

[ Void Barrage ]

Angakok began bombarding Max with pockets of void that would devour any matter that it came into contact with.

The only way to stop the void was to feed it with energy or satiate it's thirst by organic matter and Angakok seemed to be sending one such pocket towards Max at an interval of 0.1 seconds. I think you should take a look at ραΠdαsnovel.cοm

Max used his [ Way Of The Wind ] to detect the incoming barrage and then used [ Fireball ] to try and neutralise each one.

It was at this moment that Max noticed that a single fireball was neutralised by the void pockets as if it were nothing and he needed at least 100 Fireballs to satiate each pocket, the numbers of which were multiplying every second.

The power of the void was far superior to the primary elements and this was a clear demonstration of that very fact.

Max who had made a big statement just to sound cool was now paying the price as Angakok seemed to have taken his words personally.

However, he wasn't deterred.

In this primal domain he had absolute control over his powers and could even conjure 100 Fireballs every 0.1 seconds!

" Bring it " Max said as he began forming fireballs like a madman and hurtling them towards the void pockets that Angakok had created collapsing them one after another.

In a real world environment, not even 1000 fireballs would be able to achieve this effect, however, in the soul space it was possible because his soul downgraded every move that Angakok made.

It was the biggest edge that Max had in this battle as with every void pocket that Angakok single mindedly sent hurtling towards Max, his soul force drain became more and more pronounced.

**********

( Meanwhile back on the dimensional battlefield )

Rudra had started to become worried for Max, his brother had taken a 14 day leave and had not shown up although it was day14.

Naturally there could be circumstances that could have arisen delaying his comeback but he could not have peace of mind until he checked things out himself.

While his omniscient eyes could peer into every corner of the Dimensional space, he could not peer outside into the open universe with it and hence to locate Max he needed to step out back into the real universe first.

Since every movement he made inside and outside of the Dimensional portal gave the queen a potential chance to scrutinise him, it was a step Rudra did not want to take unless absolutely forced.

Finally, he decided to not take any action for another two days and have faith in Max's ability uptil then.

If Max did not return in two days, he would go back to the open universe and try to find him even if it meant risking his identity being found out by the queen.
