Rudra was taken aback by Naomi's confrontation.

His first reaction was surprise, but his next reaction was rage.

He felt like his wives were being unreasonable, that their demands were nonsensical as he couldn't help but grit his teeth after the ordeal.

For a long time after Naomi shut the door in his face, his internal monologue danced around the points of how

' He wasn't doing this for himself '

Or

' How he had bigger responsibilities in the universe '

But it was mainly centred around the thought of

' Who the hell does she think she's talking to? '

These thoughts were like poison for Rudra as it continually led him down a darker path.

Rudra did not personally realise it, yet, however as the master of the seed of chaos, his thoughts were being subtly influenced by the seed.

Not only was he becoming more and more indifferent, but he was also becoming blinded with his own power as his self worth was becoming skewed under the influence of the seed.

It wasn't until Rudra reached the darkest thought of ' You can't stop me from meeting my own kids even if you want to- '

That he realised that there was something seriously fucked up with his psyche.

For him to even consider using force in front of his own family made him realise that his psyche was seriously messed up and that he needed a reality check.

From that moment, his thoughts backtracked as he went into self reflection and realised that whatever Naomi said was in essence true.

No matter his responsibilities, it was a fact that he had decided to prioritise killing Lucifer over becoming a family man.

If he wanted to, he could have months ago teleported his family out to this space and reveal his identity, but he kept his identity hidden to get closer to Lucifer and take his revenge.

It was also true that after spending a few weeks with his family he would have once again begun planning his revenge against the queen and while he was certain of his own victory, he could not guarantee that there was no chance that he could absolutely not die.

It was also true that if he died a second time, his family would need to undergo the whole ordeal of his death all over again, and while Naomi and Ruby could muster the courage for that, the children could not.

Uptil now he had not even realised that not once did Ruby or Naomi complain about having to leave society and live on this deserted planet where there was nothing for them to do.

There was no entertainment, no social interactions, no life per se on the planet, yet they had no qualms about living here.

His wives were ready to make such a big sacrifice for the family without even complaining once, yet, he could not even lay down his weapons and promise to pursue his plans at a later date? I think you should take a look at ραΠdαsnovel.cοm

As his thoughts delved into self reflection, for the first time he heard the voice of the seed differ from his own subconscious, as he could hear it telling him that ' he was more important ' and that ' His wives should be more understanding '.

It was the first time that he was able to detect that he was being psychologically being manipulated and it was at this instance that he decided that Naomi was right.

No matter how inflated his ego was, Rudra knew that he was still a pawn in this game and there was a lot he did not understand, including what was the true nature of the seeds.

ραndαsnοvεl.cοm 12 years was a long time frame, but it gave him a lot of time to figure out the secrets about a lot of things and make a solid plan of action against the queen.

Papa Rajput always told him since he was a kid, that the house, his money, his fame was not his true legacy, that his true legacy were his children Rudra and Max.

At the time Rudra did not understand the true emotion behind these words, but today they resounded within him loud and clear.

He had already missed a major part of the kids childhood and if he missed even more, his children would grow without having any of his ideals within them.

They would only be a Rajput in name, but would grow up believing in the elvish traditions or those of Neatwit and Naomi's.

If he wanted to raise them a true Rajput, he needed to do so himself and for that he needed to be physically present.

Although he did not show it often, Rudra did care about his family the most.

Everything he did was for them, and even if he was fighting for the good of the universe, it was only to make the universe a better place for them to live in.

Since that was his goal, he could not ignore the part where he taught his children on how they should face the world and how they should tackle challenges in life.

Making the universe a better place to live in was one thing, but teaching his kids on how to survive in an ugly one was another.

Uptil now he was too focused on the first part, not realising that he was ignoring the even more important second one, but now that he did, he did not delay his decision any longer.

Taking Excalibur, he carved open his own skin and reached inside to grab the seed of chaos.

Although painful, he removed it from his body and buried it within the ground alongside both his swords and every other weapon in his inventory.

For now, Rudra had made up his mind that he was going to be a dutiful father as he gathered his strength and planned his ascension to tier9.

But what he did not know was that this decision was going to save his humanity and help him retain his identity as a just and merciful warrior.

Although Naomi did not know it yet, her actions today had saved the universe from annihilation, as this was a great cross-road in the destiny of the universe.

Had Rudra decided to go the other way, 10 years down the line the universe would have lost 70% of their population until the celestials would have been forced to intervene and kill Rudra.

Thankfully, such a horrible fate was avoided because a wife stood up to her husband and called him out for his wrongs.
