"Sheeshh..." Melissa instructed and the rest of them heard voices and whispers.

"We should hide just to be safe, we don't need something strange popping out on us" Alex whispered.

The six of them quickly took cover behind trees and bushes, slowly the voices came closer and they could hear them clearly, the voices belongs to two players.

"I kinda scared, I hope we don't run into beasts here" the first one spoke.

"We are definitely going to run into beasts, all we have to do is fight them off like we do in the game, nothing to be afraid of, after passing here we would reach the newbie village"

"I hope what you suggested is true"

"Now this is no longer a game, the newbie village would be available for all players, we can live there forever till the stupid demon is killed"

"With the money we have, we won't have to hunt again"

"Even if we do, only low-level beasts would be there and we can easily defeat them, we just need to exit this forest first"

"Alex what do we do, and besides what level are... Alex" Gabriel whispered as he looked around.

"Hi guys," Alex said as he stood in front of the players.

"What!!" the first one shouted and quickly removed two revolvers from his inventory.

The second one removed a sword as both of them pointed their weapons at Alex, and he quickly raised his hands.

"Wait...this isn't a game anymore and I'm not going to attack you or kill you," Alex said.

"What makes you think you can do that?" the first one asked with a sly smile on his face.

"Both of you are level 14 players and I'm level 22, you are a marksman and to kill me you'll have to target my head but I'm faster than you, and both of you would be dead once he misses the first shot," Alex said without a hint of fear.

"Can you see our stats, how do you know our level?" the swordsman asked.

"I have a skill, I just want to tell you guys that your plans won't work, the newbie village is where new players respawn and it's not actually part of the game world, so even if you leave this forest, you won't find the village," Alex said.

"I told you, I told you but you insisted" the marksman shouted.

"How do you know, have you checked?" the swordsman asked Alex.

"No I haven't, I'm just speaking based on my gaming experience, but this isn't a game so it might be wrong, feel free to check, just stay safe," Alex said and attempted to walk away.

"Hey, what makes you think we'll let you go free, how much do you have on you, hand it over," the swordsman said.

"Hand it over or I'll blow your fucking head off, you know you are going to die right, so hand it over," the marksman said.

"Really...a robbery, why don't you two put your weapons back in your inventory before it gets back," Alex said.

"Does he think we are joking, shoot his legs"

"I don't think that's a good idea," Lynx said from behind, both of them quickly turned back and could see the rest of Alex's group.

"You should have left them alone, they are both low-level players so they'll be nice meals for wolves," Melissa said.

"Or the ghouls you guys fought, I'm sure they like human flesh" Rebecca added.

"Huh!! what did you say, you guys fought ghouls?" the marksman asked.

"I didn't want them to die, you know I'm really generous," Alex said.

"Wait Alex I just remembered something, when you slashed the ghoul's neck, you said it wasn't dead it was just pretending, then what happened did you kill it" Lynx asked.

"Yes, I saw it escaping and I already struck it with my demon blade so it was barely alive, but I had to get my blade back so I killed it," Alex said.

"Wait, wait...you guys fought ghouls in this forest?"

"Yes, but I'm sure you guys are safe as long as you live before nightfall, though some beasts might be roaming in daytime but if I were you, I wouldn't take my chances," Alex said.

"Guys, no need to panic but I don't think we are alone, they are coming from that direction," Rebecca said.

"They? What are they?" Melissa asked her.

"It seems these days you guys like jokes, if something was coming from the forest, you Rebecca would be the first person to be afraid," Lynx said.

"I'm afraid, I'm just holding it in cause you guys are here and it's morning," Rebecca said.

Now all of them were looking in the direction Rebecca pointed waiting to see a sign of anything strange.

"Rebecca if you are angry about what I did earlier, I'm sorry for playing a prank on..."

"Green skin" Melissa spoke before Alex could finish and he faced forward.

Two huge orcs were walking towards them with goblins following behind, they were quite far away from them but they already spotted the group.

The orcs held large wooden clubs while the goblins carried smaller swords with some of them holding shields.

[Orc Warlord]

[Level 30]

[HP: 350/350]

[Orc Warlord]

[Level 30]

[HP: 300/300]

[Goblin]

[Level 15]

[HP: 100/100]

"Guys since we are quite far from them, I think we should run away, we should really run away," Alex said.

"I've faced those before, what are their names?" Melissa mumbled.

"Orc Warlord, level 30, HP 350 and 300, the goblins are low level but we'll need to..."

"Haaaa..." The swordsman and the marksman turned around and dashed away, even if Alex didn't call their stats out, they wouldn't see a creature of this size and fight.

"Maybe we should fight, killing one of those would get me to level 20 and I'll finally obtain another skill, I'm sure two shots to the head would be enough," Lynx said.

"Can you fight them alone?" Max asked.

"Heck no, I'll need time to reload and other stuff, they are not that much," Lynx said.

"I think they are much, the orcs are not much but the smaller ones are up to 20 or so," Rebecca said.

"Wait Rebecca, how can you tell, you even saw them before any of us could see them?" Gabriel asked.

"Oh, I can hear their heartbeat from afar, you guys can't hear it?" she asked.

"Another use of a healer, nice going Rebecca" Alex clapped.

"We are standing here talking while the enemies are closing in, so it raises an important question, should we run or fight?" Max shouted.

"They are already too close, if we choose to run the goblins might catch up to us," Alex said.

"Should I start, they are already within my range, though I wasted a lot of arrows with my skill back then" Melissa said.

"You are right, you shot one arrow up but more than a hundred came down, why didn't you pick them back up," Lynx said.

"It's a skill so the arrows disappeared after a few minutes, and mind you I wasted 20 arrows to use the skill"

"How many skills do you have?" Rebecca asked.

"I have 5 skills, but the first one is pretty much useless against huge opponents, but I can kill one of the orcs with one shot," she said.

"Are you going to use that skill again, the one that made you unconscious?" Gabriel asked.

"No, I have others"

"I'm really tired, like really tired, I don't think we should mess around with the goblins or orcs," Max said as he drew his sword.

"Maybe I can test my whip," Rebecca said.

"Oh, you are right, we can tie a goblin to one of the trees and you can use it to test your whip, that's a good idea," Alex said with a smile on his face.

>BAM!!<

Lynx pulled the trigger as the goblins started running toward them, the goblins were fast and when they were at a certain distance away they charged forward.

Alex quickly turned around, both of his daggers were already in his hands and he charged forward with Max close to him, both of them were the close combat fighter of the group.

Now that it was morning, they could see their surrounding clearly and goblins were low leveled beasts so they wouldn't need to struggle much.
