Chapter 463 Another Concerning Situation
?Sometime later, King Richard and the representatives of the other nations arrived at Yuan's tent to greet them. They didn't come immediately because Valeria was very exhausted from the duel and needed some time to relax.
"War General Valeria, that fight was quite the spectacle! I feel honored to witness your greatness on the training ground," Archmage Isadora said to her.
"Thank you for your praise, Miss Isadora," Valeria nodded with a smile.
"Indeed. After watching you two fight so profoundly, we also feel motivated to become even stronger, General Valeria," King Richard added with a smile, looking at her with respect, almost as if he were a fanboy.
They didn't praise Yuan for defeating Valeria since they already knew that winning against him was not possible. After all, he could annihilate thousands of corrupted monsters in the blink of an eye.
They all knew that while facing Valeria, Yuan didn't even use ten percent of his full power. If he had, the duel would have ended in an instant, and Valeria wouldn't have had the chance to draw her sword.
Then they looked at Yuan with small smiles on their faces, and Daniel said, "I didn't expect you to withstand our family's secret technique and come out unharmed so effortlessly... I was speechless for a moment."
Yuan chuckled upon hearing this and replied, "Well, that attack was one of the strongest I've ever received, but unfortunately, it was too weak to harm even a single hair on my body."
"Don't think of my words as arrogance because it's the truth. You mortals don't have the strength to harm a single hair on my body," Yuan said with a straight face, making it clear that he wasn't joking but stating a fact.
'Again… why is he calling us mortals? After all, I'm a rank Archmage and have been living for more than one hundred and sixty years now,' Archmage Isadora wondered, confused about Yuan calling them mere mortals since she is an Archmage—a rank above Grandmage.
Not only her, but the others also stared at him with puzzled looks, wondering why Yuan called them all mere mortals.
"Mr. Yuan, if it's not too much trouble, could you explain why you're calling us all mortal, which clearly we're not?" Archmage Isadora asked, a puzzled look on her face.
However, Yuan just shook his head instead of responding, as he didn't find it necessary to explain everything to them, knowing it would do no good and might even harm them.
Seeing that Yuan wasn't going to tell her, Archmage Isadora gave up trying to make him explain. She decided to change the topic instead.
"By the way, Mr. Yuan, King Richard would like to know more about the 'spiritual beasts' you mentioned to me. Not only him, but we all are curious to know what kind of otherworldly energy those mythical beasts use," Archmage Isadora asked to change the subject.
"I don't think it's a good idea for you to know what kind of energy they use, as it will only harm you instead of doing good," Yuan responded with a sigh and continued, "But I can tell you more about the spiritual beasts. After all, you will naturally come in contact with them."
"We're very grateful for that…" King Richard responded with a smile after exchanging a quick glance with Daniel.
After that, Yuan gave them some important information about the spiritual beasts that were within the Core Area of the forest. As they learned about the beasts, they became astonished, almost speechless.
"I never thought that such powerful monsters could exist in this world… a single one of them could trample an entire empire to the ground," Archmage Eldrick muttered with a solemn look on his face, seemingly in disbelief.
"Indeed. They're too dangerous for us… no, for all of humanity!" Daniel added, his tone serious and laced with a hint of amazement and concern.
"You're thinking too much," Yuan responded as he shook his head. "As far as I know about spiritual beasts, they like to stay away from human settlements and won't attack anyone unnecessarily unless provoked or very hungry."
"So you don't need to be concerned about that, for now at least," Yuan reassured them.
"I see… I feel relieved hearing this," Daniel muttered, releasing a deep sigh.
Then Grace suddenly stepped forward, looked at them with a cold expression, and said, "Don't wander around the forest. There are many spiritual beasts roaming around the camp. Otherwise, no one would return alive."
"What?!" King Richard couldn't help but exclaim loudly, his expression immediately turning very serious.
Grace ignored his surprised expression and continued, "I suggest you order your men not to leave the camp under any circumstances. It's too dangerous outside."
"I agree with Grace. With the strength those beasts possess, destroying this camp would be very easy for them, so it's better to warn everyone about it," Rose added, stepping forward with a very serious expression on her face.
Upon hearing this, King Richard and the representatives of the other nations swallowed nervously, and their faces began to sweat profusely.
A few moments later, King Richard and the representatives of the other nations left Yuan's tent to warn everyone about the dangers outside the camp.
As soon as they left the tent, they gathered everyone in the training ground and told them about the dangers they would encounter once they left the camp. Everyone was shocked upon hearing the announcement; they almost couldn't believe it. How could such powerful beasts exist in this world? Isn't this against the laws of nature?
"I can't believe this… there is no way such beasts exist in this world!"
"Didn't you hear from whom this information came? It's Yuan—
the leader of the Celestial Blades!"
The shocked murmurs of people filled the air with concern and bewilderment. Everyone was astonished to learn this new information regarding the Core Area of the forest.
Meanwhile, inside the tent, Arthur threw the wine glass he was holding upon being informed about the commotion outside by a Holy Knight.
"Bullshit! This is all just some bullshit! That arrogant bastard just wants to scare us and nothing else!" Arthur roared in rage, his eyes turning bloody red from anger as he clenched his fists in frustration.
"I don't believe this shit! Never! That bastard wants us to dance in his palm, but I won't do that…"
He then poured another glass of wine and began to drink it. After that, he ordered his Holy Knight to inform him directly about everything happening outside the tent.
"As you wish, Holy Son." The Holy Knight bowed and left the tent.
"Useless! All of them are useless…" Arthur muttered with a fuming expression after the Holy Knight left the tent.
Meanwhile, Yuan was having a great time with his wives in the shade of the massive tree where they had spent the evening yesterday. They were bored staying inside the tent and decided to spend some time in the open.
"Yuan, what is your plan for the mission from yesterday?" Valeria asked, a serious look on her face.
"Nothing much. I've decided to lead everyone from tomorrow onward. If we let King Richard lead, it will probably take us forever to find the hideout of those vile creatures," Yuan responded quickly with a calm look on his face.
Mireya raised her brows upon hearing this and asked, "Did you find the location of the gathering place of those disgusting monsters?"
"You could say that…" Yuan smiled at her. "I haven't located their base, but I've discovered strange movements in the southwest part of the forest."
His countenance turned serious as he continued, "And from the aura alone, I'm confident that it's neither spiritual beasts nor magical beasts… so it could only be one thing…"
"Corrupted monsters…" Mireya muttered with a serious look on her face.
"Indeed." Yuan nodded with a smile.
They spent the next few hours planning how they should approach the southwest part of the forest, considering that thousands of corrupted monsters would be gathered in one place. Although those monsters pose no threat to him and his wives, including Valeria, Mireya, and Sylvia who haven't become cultivators yet, they still needed a strategy.
After planning their tactics, Anna took Emma and Leah with her to prepare dinner for everyone as it was getting dark.
Yuan also stood up and took his wives inside the tent as many mosquitoes began to appear around the camp. Sometime later, Anna called to them from outside, informing them that dinner was ready.
"Let's go and quickly have our dinner before it gets cold!" Yuan exclaimed excitedly as he went outside the tent, his wives following with smiles on their faces.
After dinner, Yuan spent some passionate moments with each of his wives, leaving none of them unsatisfied with his love and care as he spoiled each of them. After receiving his affection, he could see the radiant smiles on their faces become even more beautiful and tender, making him feel like kissing their lips passionately once again.
Seeing the lustful expression on his face, Anna smiled sweetly at him before pulling his face and stuffing it between her massive funbags, making him feel like he was in heaven.
Seeing the relaxed and satisfied smile on his face, both Anna and Grace couldn't help but smile lovingly at him, their eyes showing the endless amount of love they had for him.
"I love you both so much, my two lovely wives…" Yuan said with a loving smile as he pulled them both into his embrace, making their hearts melt.
"We love you too, Hubby!" Both Anna and Grace responded with lovely smiles on their faces, making Yuan's heart skip a beat at how gorgeous they looked with those smiles.
