In Frankfurt, Germany, Mr. Palacio, Eintracht Frankfurt's manager could be seen sitting on a couch in the living room of his apartment.
He was sitting in front of the television with a cigarette slowly burning in his mouth.
The television wasn't on because he had gotten fed up with the news going around about the trashing they had received from league leaders Bayern Munich a few hours ago.
"They put nine goals past us and we couldn't even get one past them, when was the last time we conceded nine goals in a single match?" He said after bringing out the cigarette from his mouth and allowing the cloud of smoke to sip through his mouth.
It didn't take long before his phone which was on the table and turning his gaze to it he could see the name Mr. Gerd displayed there as the name of the caller.
'I wouldn't be surprised if it's a sack, my seventh loss of the season, a big humiliation.' The manager said before picking up his phone to pick up the call.
"Hello, Mr. Gerd."
"Hello, Palacio, how're you doing?"
"Not too great."
"I know that loss must have hit you hard as it did to everyone else."
"A lot of mistakes were made tactically and individually, it was mostly my fault, I'm sorry," Palacio said.
"I don't think there's really any reason to apologize, it was again Bayern Munich, that team isn't one you hope to beat easily, you've been doing well so far." Gerd expressed.
'So, it isn't what I thought it was after all.' Palacio breathed an inward sigh of relief.
"Thank you, sir."
"No need to thank me, I didn't even call you to talk about the match," Gerd said.
"Then why did you call?" Palacio asked.
"I've been looking into the only goalkeeper replacement choice you gave to us and I've been trying to figure out what caught your eyes in him and it looks like I found that out today."
"So does that mean?"
"Yeah, we will start making offers and see what he and Unique FC has to say."

"Where are we going? We've been on the road for almost thirty minutes now.
"Don't worry, we're almost there," Dave said before turning to her with an assuring smile.
Emma didn't say anything and just smiled back at him before turning her gaze to the road.
Just like Dave said, it didn't take long before they got to their destination, a part of Unique City which had a small number of people in it at this time of the year.
The area was usually scanty, people didn't like living near the coast, except for a few fishermen but since the tower of sight was built in the area, a lot of people began to visit.
The tower was the highest point in the whole city and it was just relaxing viewing the whole city from up there.
"Is that where we're going?" Emma asked, looking up at the tower.
"Yeah," Dave said before slamming the door shut. "Let's go."
"I heard the view is nice from up there, the view of the whole city," Emma said with her gaze still up.
"There's only one way to find out," Dave said, looking up at the tower.
There was an elevator there so it didn't take them long to get to the very top of the tower which was just like a large circular corridor that had rails around it to prevent anyone from mistakenly falling from there.
"Wow," Emma said as she quickly walked closer to the rails to get a clearer view of everything.
They were quite a distance away from the city but she could clearly see the city from up there and looking back she could see the ocean.
"Wow, this is really nice Dave." She said with a bright smile on her face.
"I knew you would like it." He said with a smile on his face.
"I can even spot the house from up here." She said. "There it is, hey, Dave."
She slowly turned to Dave but immediately paused as she was stunned by what she was seeing now.
Dave was down on one knee with the ring case open to expose the ring which he had raised in front of her now.
"This place was part of the surprise but this is the main deal." He said, looking at her.
"Dave." She muttered.
She had mixed emotions of surprise and joy running through her now.
"Will you marry me, Emma?"
<And he has said the words>
Emma stared at him as her eyes were starting to fill up with tears of joy.
"Of course, I'll marry you!" She said before getting on her knees to wrap her arms around him in a tight hug. "I thought you would never ask." She added as the tears in her eyes began to roll down her cheeks.
Dave didn't say anything as he allowed her to let it all out before she slowly withdrew from the hug.
"This was what you were looking for in the jewelry section that day at the mall." She said before taking the ring from him. "This necklace was only a distraction."
"You got me," Dave said, rubbing the back of his head.
"I love you." She said before wrapping her arms around him again.
"I love you too," Dave said before taking the ring from the case and putting the case in his pocket. "I guess I should put this on you now since you've agreed to marry me."
"Yeah." She said before putting her left hand in front of him.
Dave didn't hesitate for a single second as he gently put the ring on the finger beside her pinky finger.
She stared at the ring for a while before turning her gaze to Dave.
"It's beautiful." She muttered with a smile on her face.
"I knew you would love it," Dave said.
The two stared at each other for a while before they leaned closer to each other and got locked in a deep passionate kiss.
That had lasted for about two minutes before the two got up and walked closer to the rails.
The two stood there taking in the nice view of the city before Emma slowly placed her head on his chest and raised her gaze to the full moon.
"Look at the moon, it looks like it's smiling at us." She said,
"It doesn't look like it's smiling at us, it is smiling at us," Dave said.
