<Just when you were starting to miss her, her lookalike popped up from nowhere>

'Keep quiet, Catherine.'

"Hi, Emilia." He said, sounding a bit nervous.

"Can I come in?"

"Sure." He said before making way for her to enter the house.

"Where's Emma?" Emilia asked as soon as she entered the room.

She was carrying a bigger handbag compared to the one she was always with so she had to drop it on the dining table.

"Um…Emma." The goalkeeper said, scratching the back of his head.

"Is she still at work?" She asked.

"No." He replied.

"Okay, then she must be upstairs then." She said before taking two steps toward the staircase.

"She's not there either." He said.

"Huh?" She said before she slowly turned her gaze to him. "Then where is she?"

"Um…Emma wasn't feeling too well last night so I took her to the hospital, it turns out she has some kind of dangerous flu and will be spending two days in the hospital." He explained.

"Emma's in the hospital?" She said as the happy expression on her face suddenly dropped. "Can you take me there, please?"

"You mean right now?"

"Yeah," Emilia said with a nod.

"Okay, let me just change into something else." The goalkeeper said before he quickly made his way upstairs.

"Okay." She muttered.

________ ________

"So, how is she doing? Is she recovering fine?" Emilia asked.

"Yeah, she's doing fine, there's nothing to worry about?" Dave said with his gaze on the road and his hands on the steering wheel.

"That's good to hear." She breathed a sigh of relief.

It didn't take long for them to get to the hospital and after going through the necessary reception process, they made their way to where Emma was staying.

On their way to the room, they met up with the doctor who looked like he was just coming from the area.

"Hey, doc." The goalkeeper said.

"Hey, Dave, you're here to see Emma right?"

"Yeah," Dave said with a nod. "How's she doing?"

"She's doing just fine, she'll be good to go on Sunday." The doctor said before noticing Emilia who was standing beside Dave. "Who's this?"

"Um…this is Emilia, Emma's friend, she wanted to see her so I brought her along."

"Friend? I just concluded in my mind that you were her twin sister." The doctor said with her gaze on Emilia.

"Well, she is my sister," Emilia said, causing Dave to quickly turn her gaze to her. "But we're not related by blood."

"I never thought I would see two people who weren't related look so identical." The doctor said with an amazed look on his face. "If you had brought her on another day when Emma wasn't here, I would have thought she was Emma and wouldn't bother to ask who she was."

"Well, I have to go now." He added before he continued his walk out of the area.

Dave slowly opened the door because he wanted to take Emma by surprise, that is if she was sleeping or looking at the other side of the room.

She wasn't doing the latter nor the former rather she was lying on her back going through her phone with a smile on her face.

The two slowly entered the room and with Dave's signal, they quietly walked toward the room.

"I saw you when you entered." She said to inform them that their cover had been busted a long time ago.

"What's putting a smile on your face?" Dave asked.

"Emma," Emilia said before quickly making her way to her.

"Hey, Emilia," Emma said but she didn't seem to be surprised to see her. "I was just going through my gallery, I have very silly pictures of you in here." She said before holding up her phone to show him the picture where he tripped and fell flat on his face just before he could get off the staircase.

Emilia's cheeks had gone red now as she was trying hard to hold in her laughter.

"Hey, you're not supposed to be keeping pictures like that on your phone," Dave said with an offended look on his face. "When did you even take that picture?"

"Why not? Do you prefer me to keep them on my Instagram?"

"Okay, just keep them on your phone."

Emma didn't say anything and just smiled at him before turning her gaze to Emma.

After talking with the both of them for a while, Dave found out that Emilia was in Unique City because of a two-day seminar but before they could say anything further, he left to go do something.

"Have you told him about me spending the next two days with you guys?" Emilia asked a few minutes after Dave left. "Well, it's not you guys now that you're going to be spending the next two days here."

"Actually, I just have one day left now that today's almost over, and don't worry about telling, I'll do it now," Emma said.

"Okay," Emilia said before running her gaze down her fingers to spot the ring with the purple diamond she was putting on. "Is that the ring he used to propose to you?"

"Yeah," Emma said, raising the ring so that she could see it properly.

"It looks really pretty."

"Yeah, those were exact thoughts when I first saw it."

The two were still talking when Dave entered the room with his gaze on his wristwatch.

"5:50 PM, it's starting to get late." He said.

"Yeah, you two should get going," Emma said.

"Huh?" Dave said before turning his gaze to her.

"Um…, babe." She called.

"Yeah," Dave said, moving closer to her.

"I told you that Emilia was here because of a two-days seminar right?"

"Yeah," Dave said with a nod.

"Well, she needs somewhere to stay and I told her she could stay at your place with you and me, that was before this stupid flu hit me."

"Wait, are you asking for my permission? Is that what you're doing?" The goalkeeper asked.

"Yeah." She said,

Dave didn't reply to her immediately and just stared at her before a smile appeared on her face.

"It's our place now and if you want her to stay that's okay, I don't see any reason to say no." He said.

"Thanks, Hun." She said with a smile on her face.

Emilia didn't say anything and just smiled at the both of them.

After spending a little more time with Emma, the two made their way back to the house.

Dave was the first to enter the house and the first place his eyes went was the clock and he could see that the time was 6:35 PM now.

"Hey, there's really nothing here for the both of us to eat tonight but I could order pizza for you." He said as soon as she entered the house.

"Order pizza for me? What about you?" She asked.

"Don't worry, I'm on a strict diet and I'm not that hungry tonight." The goalkeeper said.

"Okay, but don't bother about the pizza, I can make something for both of us fast." She said before she began to make her way to the kitchen.

"Wait, aren't you tired after your journey and having to go see Emma right away, and don't you need to change first?" Dave asked.

"Don't worry, I'm okay." She said before entering the kitchen.

<Are you sure you're okay with her staying here, I have a strange feeling about something going wrong>

'Why not? She's a nice person unlike that first one Karen, I like her, it's like having a replica of Emma in the house.'

<That is the main reason why I think something could go wrong?>
