I woke up the next morning feeling rejuvenated and revitalized after a restful night's sleep. The previous day, I had become exhausted from all the intense planning and strategizing I had done. Today, I had to pick up where I left off and continue organizing and coordinating my minions. Before going to bed the previous night, I had put the minions on hold through the system to ensure that they wouldn't do any more construction until I had a clear plan in place. We had been making mistakes and going in the wrong direction, so I wanted to take a step back and reassess our approach.

Since I had revised and modified the city plans, the minions would have to start working on the tunnel and moat that would encircle and protect the city first. So, I had to assign a team of mining minions to focus on the tunnel project first. I got out of bed and stepped outside, where I found the minions standing in front of my house in a neatly organized formation. I was pleased with their discipline and attention to detail, and when I glanced to the left, I saw Chloe standing there. She greeted me with a cheerful "good morning," and I replied in kind.

I informed Chloe that we had a lot of important tasks to tackle today. Before assigning any specific duties, I checked the total number of my minions to get a sense of our resources. I had a total of 110 skilled mining minions at my disposal, which I would use to oversee the excavation of the tunnel and moat. I assigned 90 of these minions to the tunnel-digging project, and the rest were sent out to gather the necessary resources. I tasked a team of 5 minions with collecting iron and another team of 5 with collecting iron and stone.

I also had 114 scout minions who were trained in mining techniques. I assigned them to work on the moat project, and to my surprise, they eagerly accepted the challenge. This suggested that they had the ability to perform this type of work, although the system calculator estimated that it would take them longer to complete the task than other minions. While these scout minions were primarily designed for scouting and reconnaissance, they were still able to contribute significantly to the digging efforts. However, I decided not to send them out to work just yet, as I wanted to review the revised plans in more detail before moving forward.

The changes I had made to the city plans for the following day would have a major impact on the layout and structure of my city. Originally, the housing units for the minions were going to be located in the middle of the city, but now I was considering placing them at the end of the city instead. This meant that the high tower, which I had designed and constructed the previous day, would now serve as the central hub and focal point of the city.

I had originally intended for the high tower to be located in the centre of the city, but I had not yet placed it in its final location. So, I moved the barracks and arms store to the front of the city, away from the housing units, and placed the high tower in the centre. This change in the plans required me to shift the entire city a little further ahead and expand its borders to cover more ground.

After adding the high tower to the centre of the city, I counted the houses and structures that would be needed to accommodate all of the minions. The combat division minions would live and train in the barracks, but the minions from the other divisions would each have their own houses.

I located the barracks and arms store at the front of the city, near the gate, and left a small empty space between them. I decided to fill this space with flowers and plants to add a touch of beauty and flavour.

The next area of the city was designated for the magic minions. I divided this section into four sectors, each dedicated to a different element: fire, water, wind, and earth.

As I was assigning houses to the magic minions, I realized that I had a team of 14 scout minions who were skilled in earth magic and had the ability to control solid objects. I thought that they could be of great help to the scout minions working on the moat project, so I decided to assign them to work alongside the scout minions. With their magic abilities, they were able to boost the efficiency and productivity of the scout minions.

Behind the magic sector, I left a spacious area for the magicians to practice and hone their skills. The practice space for the combat division was located at the front of the city, while the space for the magic minions was situated behind the houses. The high tower, which served as the centrepiece of the city, was located in this area.

After the practice space came to my own house and the houses for the resource division minions, which were divided into sectors for woodcutters, miners, farmers, builders, and hunters.

The houses of the minion manager and Chloe were located just beside mine. I also set aside areas for the hunting minions to raise and care for animals. An animal farm inside the city would provide a reliable source of meat, even if the minions were unable to go out hunting. This would ensure that I had access to a consistent supply of food.

In terms of self-sufficiency, my settlement was rapidly improving. Preparations were coming along well, and it might be worth expanding further. Well, my back is a little sore so I might rest for a little.
