After the zombies were within range of the archers' attack, they began firing arrows towards them with precision and deadly intent. The zombies, upon impact with the arrows, were turned into cactus, their bodies writhing in pain as they were impaled. But even in this state, they continued to march towards the city wall, relentless in their pursuit of the living. The archers didn't stop their assault, and as more zombies fell, it seemed as though the tide of battle was turning in our favor. However, there was no stopping their relentless advancement.

They were almost upon the city, and the magic minions unleashed their own brand of destruction, conjuring up a cloud of flames that engulfed the zombies like a blanket of snow. The heat was intense and the screams of the zombies could be heard even from within the safety of the city walls. After a few seconds, I commanded the minions to stop their assault. To my horror, I saw that 4 or 5 zombies were still walking on their feet, their bodies charred but not dead.

The archers, ready for any eventuality, were on high alert and waiting for my command. I gave the signal, and they let loose a barrage of arrows that finally brought the remaining zombies down. The nightmare was over, and we had managed to fend off the horde. But I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. I had a strong army that could fight off any human threat, but these monsters were something else. They were getting stronger with every passing day, spreading their numbers and taking over villages. I had almost forgotten about the true nature of the enemy we were facing.

Today's attack had made me worry about the safety of my city, but I knew that I couldn't let my guard down. The enemy had attacked and killed my people, and it was my duty to make sure that they paid for their atrocities. It was important to teach them a lesson, a lesson that they would never forget.

I sent a small group of minions to check if the zombies were finally dead or not. To my dismay, I saw that a few of them were still moving, their bodies twitching in the aftermath of the battle. The brute force minions, without hesitation, went out and finished them off one by one. The work resumed, and I returned to my house. I was waiting for the intelligence variants to arrive, but they were nowhere to be found.

As I laid down on my bed, Chloe came to ask me about the zombie attack. But upon seeing that I was about to sleep, she left without saying a word. I wanted nothing more than to rest, but my mind was racing with thoughts of the battle and what the future held.

The next day, I woke up and went outside to see if the intelligence variant minions had returned or not. However, they were nowhere to be found, and I felt disappointed. I couldn't help but wonder if they had met their demise in battle. But I couldn't dwell on it for long, I had a city to protect.

I made my way to the training grounds, hoping to see my minions ready for battle. When I arrived, I was greeted with a sight that left me in awe. The place was packed with minions, and in the corner, I saw something that I had never seen before. They were bulkier and bigger than anything I had ever seen, towering over the brute force minions that I had grown accustomed to.

I knew right away that these were the next step in the evolution of the brute force minions. "Oh my God," I heard Chloe exclaim from behind me. She was shocked to see the size of these minions, and I couldn't blame her.

The army was ready and they were standing there for my orders. I opened up the advanced control menu to check the size of my army.

The total number of minions exceeded 3,500, and I was ready for battle against this unknown king. I was inspecting the army, taking note of the strength and readiness of each unit, when the minion manager informed me that the intelligence variant had arrived.

I quickly headed in his direction, eager to hear what information he had gathered. He was also on his way to brief me, and we met near a garden. He came near and stood in front of me, his expression serious and determined. I couldn't help but notice that the other four minions that had gone with him were nowhere to be seen.

"What's the update from the city?" I asked the minion, my voice filled with authority and determination.

"It's Howard City, my lord. The king's name is Howard, and he established the city a few years ago. He is among the strongest kings in this land. He is an arrogant man, and this is the reason he doesn't have any alliances. He can't see anyone equal to him," the minion replied, his voice filled with respect and a hint of fear.

"What about the people?" I asked, my mind already racing with strategies to conquer this city and its king.

"There are 3,000 residents in the city and 1,200 active soldiers. The 300 soldiers are in reserve and can put on gear any time. They also have male and female warriors. The king is an arrogant man, as I said earlier, therefore, he hasn't taken any serious steps towards the safety of the city. The wall is strong and well-maintained, with no weak points that we can exploit. The gate of the city is also made of metal, thick and imposing, but not impossible to break. There is a significant number of archers inside the city, which will be a problem," the minion said, his voice filled with concern.

"How many archers are we talking about?" I asked, my mind already calculating the odds of success.

"500 archers, 200 of them are also experts in swordplay. They have skills both as archers and sword players. You will have to be careful while attacking the city because archers can shoot from the small holes in the wall. You can fight them if you have enough flame throwers. Most importantly, the number of guards reduces during the night from the back side of the city where the river flows. It might be our best chance to infiltrate the city and take them by surprise," the minion said, his voice filled with hope and determination.

I took in this information and knew that I had to act fast and strategically if I wanted to conquer Howard City and its king. I had a powerful army, but the enemy was strong and well-equipped. It would be a difficult battle, but I was determined to emerge victorious.
