Chapter 300: Jing Yichen’s Past
The following morning, Shangguan Ning went to work whilst Jing Yichen went to Family Mu’s Hospital.
Tang Yun had already woken up after the night’s treatment and was resting there.
He didn’t ask Shangguan Ning to come with him, because he wanted to bear the burden himself instead. He was the cause of the problem and he felt his heart ache again when he thought of how Shangguan Ning had gotten so furious the day before. He didn’t want her to be upset because of Tang Yun again.
When Jing Yichen reached the hospital, he didn’t go to visit Tang Yun first. He simply needed to know about her condition.
He truly detested Tang Yun, because she looked like an elegant woman at the first glance, but she was a dark-hearted woman. Her look of admiration towards him was full of too many other things, which made Jing Yichen very uncomfortable.
He had met any women but Tang Yun was the most complicated one. Even a man like him was not able to see through what she was thinking.
Jing Yichen went to Mu Qing’s office.
Zhao Anan was also there. She got startled at the sight of Jing Yichen. “Brother, why are you here? Where is Ning? Has she not come?”
Jing Yichen gave a negative shake of his head. Then he turned to Mu Qing. “How is she?”
“Totally fine. She is not going to die. She can jump around happily. I have never seen anyone who can hop around in this way. She has been asking for you ever since she was brought here. She said that she wanted to give birth to babies for you! Tut, tut!” Mu Qing shook his head and his eyes reflected sympathy.
Jing Yichen was a man who could easily attract women towards him, yet 99 % of the women tended to be frightened by his coldness and turned away in failure. He never gave those women a single chance of approaching him and made them lose the last hope with the worst method – asking Tiger to remove their arms and then tossing them out.
Tang Yun was the first woman whom Jing Yichen stayed a bit close to and she had been keeping him company for a very long time. She had almost became part of Jing Yichen’s life.
Jing Yichen was cold and very few people were willing to get close to a man like him who isolated himself from the world.
Also, Jing Yichen didn’t publicize his identity as the heir of Family Jing and claimed himself to be surnamed as Zhao rather than Jing.
Therefore, those people who were attracted to him, be it women or men, were so because they found him extremely good-looking.
Tang Yun was the only person who clung to Jing Yichen no matter how distant he was. Also, Jing Yichen couldn’t get rid of her and she always had a way to know where he was and then follow him. She always appeared when he was in need.
Although Jing Yichen didn’t like her, yet he regarded her as a friend – his life was black and white and he had almost no friends.
He was way too smart and had a high EQ. He had experienced many things in this short life already.
The only person who could irritate him was Jing Yiran.
He never punched others in person and he hated to touch anyone. But he always punched Jing Yiran in person as if only in this way was he able to vent out his anger and to give Zhao Qing a touch of consolation sitting in heaven.
Tang Yun had been badgering him all the time and she never gave up. But when the accident occurred ten years ago, she was nowhere to be seen. Jing Yichen started to regard her as a friend, post that.
No one knew what happened back then and Jing Yichen didn’t want to say anything either.
But after the accident happened, Jing Yichen started having a bigger reaction to being touched.
Mu Qing had learnt psychology and had tried to guide Jing Yichen through. But all methods failed!
Jing Yichen was way too smart. Therefore, the psychological guidance failed.
What Mu Qing knew was that Tang Yun had caused that incident and Jing Yichen was involved, thus becoming the biggest victim. Jing Yichen was tormented to an inhuman degree whilst Tang Yun was totally fine.
She could mention that incident without concern, and she didn’t reject being touched by anyone. She didn’t even have any psychological panic after the gun attack.
But Jing Yichen had a serious follow through – at the beginning he couldn’t even possibly communicate with anyone. In Zheng Jing’s words, he had been trying hard to fight himself so as not to commit suicide.
The two people experienced the exact same thing yet Jing Yichen reacted in such a violent way. But Tang Yun was different. It was not true that Jing Yichen was less stronger than Tang Yun, psychologically. As the heir of Family Jing, Jing Zhongxiu had hired the top-notch team to train him and he had gone through incredible pressure and torment!
Even Zheng Jing said that only Jing Yichen was able to control himself from killing himself after that experience.
But then why was Tang Yun totally fine?
Mu Qing had been confused about this question for a long time. But he never mentioned that in front of Jing Yichen. He believed that a capable man like Jing Yichen must have considered this issue ages ago.
Or, something else happened, something that he had no idea of.
That was why Jing Yichen could tolerate Tang Yun and in a manner that it was not strange for Shangguan Ning to have gotten jealous.
Mu Qing was an outgoing person but he knew very well what to say and what to hide.
For example, Tang Yun had kept cursing at Shangguan Ning in a terrible way through the night but Mu Qing said nothing, in case Jing Yichen got angry.
“That woman cries and makes a fuss. She is quite strong and insists that the child is yours. Jesus, she is suspecting my medical skills. I have just cured you. How can you have a child of two months!”
What Mu Qing couldn’t tolerate was that someone suspected his medical skills.
He would take it very seriously if someone suspected his medical skills apart from Mu Wensheng.
He had just claimed that Jing Yichen was infertile in front of Shangguan Ning and made medicine for him. It had just been one month since that happened and now Tang Yun insisted that she was pregnant with Jing Yichen’s child. That was simply not possible!
Tang Yun was full of evil plan, but sometimes her brain didn’t work well. Did she assume that everyone would believe her when she said that the child was Jing Yichen’s? Did she assume that without the child, truth wouldn’t be found?
