It was official now. They were mad. They were all raving mad and Han was now beginning to see the focal point of their madness.

This man, Priest Regulus, has formed a niche of madness around himself. A coat of false pretense that eventually traveled like a ripple throughout the entirety of his congregation.

How can a person in their right sense say something like that with a straight face!? It didn’t matter what you did, so long as it was for the lord!? It was like a mass murderer’s wet dream!

“This creator of yours, who is he exactly. I read through your entire book and I never once saw a mention of where the creator came from or where he went to,”

Priest Regulus sighed and put his hand on his face. He feared that the brilliance of the man in front of him would eventually lead him to ask such a question. How silly of him to believe that it would not come up in this discussion? It had been too long since anyone was smart enough to bother asking this question. Five years now, if he wasn’t mistaken.

Not since the fiery angel rarely spoke.

“The lord our creator is not with us right now. I understand your desire to witness his glory. He is a being greater than we can ever understand and that is something every human yearns for. The desire to see what we can never reach is a trait humanity can never be rid of. But you are not to be disheartened. I have seen the lord. It was a long time ago when I woke up in a void. A bright place where no darkness dared to near. The lord spoke to me through one of his servants and gave me the mission to spread his gospel among the unenlightened. It was only due to my own fear and ignorance that I lost favor with my Lord! I was a fool to doubt him! I was a fool to not understand that essence of his glory!!”

Han took steps back in shock as Priest Regulus began to scratch at his head and lament in a loud voice. Did this man just say he was taken to the void?

“You were in the void? Regulus… Listen to me!!”

Han grabbed the Priest by his shoulder and stopped him from hurting himself. He didn’t have time to play madman with this madman! He needed to know if he was one of the five!

“Regulus, you were in a void? What was it like? The… Uh, servant, you saw, what was she like?”

Priest Regulus paused and then looked up at Han. She? She she she she she!!! He never said it was a she!!! Doesn’t that mean…!?

“Ahhhhhh~ So it was as it is written!!”

Priest Regulus grabbed onto Han and stared him straight in the eye.

“You are the last of the Chosen. Just as it was written. And he shall arrive like a phantom and bring evil upon us! For his will is not that of the creator! For his path is wrong!”

How could things have become so insane, Han wondered. It was like he was now in the middle of a crazy horror movie. Han thought he would just come here, threaten the man a little, and then get the source of the virus from him. But things just became all the more complicated.

If Regulus had also been to the void, doesn’t that mean he had powers? What did this man do with them!?

“I said listen to me, Regulus!!”

Han grabbed him and slammed him into the wall. Priest Regulus’ laughter became heavier and someone suddenly began to rattle at the doorknob. Martha’s voice broke through the door

“Chosen one! Chosen one is there a problem in there!? Open the door so I can help!”

“The virus, Regulus. You’re using it in your injections! You knew what that thing did and you still used it? Why!?”

“Because it was the will of the creator! He sent me back to my time so I may prepare the world for his return! I had to prove myself to him by finding those who are worthy of his glory! I had to become his adjudicator!”

Han grit his teeth and had to fight to restrain himself from killing this man right there. So he was doing all this because he thought he was some sort of messenger!? All the people he threw off the walls were simply unworthy in his eyes. They were trash!?

But even still, that was not enough for Han. It still didn’t make sense that this one man would be able to change the entire world that much. How did he even get all these people to join his cult? How did he get Rin Woo to join? It was impossible that he just talked them into it!

“Who spread the virus, Regulus. Tell me,”

[[BloodLust] has been activated]

Bang! Bang! Bang!

“Chosen! Cardinal! The devil is upon us! I must protect you! Please allow me to protect you!”

Martha became even more frantic as she felt the blood lust but Han didn’t give a fuck right now. He looked Regulus in the eyes and saw how the fear reached deep into the man’s soul.

“Tell me, right now,”

Priest Regulus knew that this would happen. From the very first day when he began his crusade, he knew that this would be the outcome at this very moment! But it was not something he ran from! He embraced it like a lover!

“For five years I have waited for this moment, Han. And today I have finally gotten my wish from the lord. I will hide nothing from you, because I know this is just another test of my resolve from the lord my creator! The lord wishes to see if I may overcome this as well. Go through this journey and let us see who shall come forth the better between us both!”

Regulus’ eyes burnt green and a great headache suddenly assaulted Han. He let go of the priest’s shirt as he felt like his head was about to split into two! What was going on!?

“This is but one of the powers the lord gave unto me! It is his will that I become the voice within the minds of his people! The voice of the lord: Reverbia!!”

The voice that shouted this time was not from Regulus’ mouth. It echoed inside Han’s head like a gong! He grabbed the table and groaned as his vision began to swirl.

“Praise the lord for he is good! Praise the lord for he is kind! Praise the lord for he is our creator!”

The voice echoed and echoed and echoed till Han thought he would go mad, but then a message came into view.

The voices died down in Han’s head and he turned towards Regulus and slammed his fist into his face.

Slam!

Regulus slammed into the far wall and grinned happily as Han grabbed onto his shirt. Even now he fights! He even managed to brush off his first mental assault like it was nothing!?

He truly was the lord’s chosen!!!

Han felt his mental defenses began to waver as the voice of Regulus began to echo in his mind again. He closed his eyes and shook his head before tightening his hands.

“You are the last of the chosen. But you do not know the way of the lord! I will guide you to canna, but it is your job to get there! Find me in the church and I will give you your duel, win and I shall give you your mission,”

Han narrowed his eyes. What the hell was he talking…..

BOOM!!!!

A great explosion resounded across the outside of the office window and Han perked up in shock. What was that?

“I don’t think you have the liberty to worry about them, not when you will be too busy fighting for your life!!”

Bang! Bang! Boom!

The door to the room burst open and a harrid looking Martha ran inside. She saw Han holding onto the cardinal and she screamed in anger.

“Let go of our lord, you bastard!!!”
