Chapter 2235 Meeting

Sam reached the Gambler Academy entrance and the moment he did, he noticed some people hurriedly flying towards him.

Sam smirked at this and blinked from there into the entrance. He took out his communication device to contact Dove.

"Hello, I am sure you are in the academy. I just arrived and am at the entrance right now. I can see some people with different academy uniforms are flying towards the entrance as well.

You might want to be here, right now."

There is already an elder guarding at the entrance and he also heard Sam's words. Of course, he also noticed the elders from the other academies, he just assumed that they are coming here for something.

However, after hearing what Sam said, he connected some dots and realized what the problem could be.

The elders from different academies made quite an entrance.

They all landed in front of the entrance just a few feet away with utmost pride and ferocity. And all of their gazes are locked on Sam.

The elder frowned and stood in between them.

"Why are you all here?" The elder of the Gambler academy is very young compared to the people who came. He is also a lot less experienced. He is one of the youngest elders of the academy realm.

Usually, he would have talked to them quite politely, but based on their behavior, he realized that politeness and respect could be thrown out of the window for now.

"We are here to apprehend a suspect who is known to have connections and dealings with the managers of the hub, who are now criminals that carried out massacres in all of the Olympian academies.

The Gambler academy elder, frowned at the moment. He was about to respond, when someone beat him to it.

"Those are some pretty big accusations elder, all the academies ganging up and even sending elders to target a first grader? That too not ask us the academy who has authority and affiliation with the student, but to directly apprehend him?

It was not Sam who spoke those words, rather it was from Dove.

Sam looked at her and smiled. He did expect her to come and defend him, but he didnt expect her to come on so strong. Things will surely get heated like this. And he wanted it.

"Couldn't expect anything more from the Gambler academy. Even students who are still green behind their ears are talking back to the Elders.

Go and tell you Dean to come and greet me if you are so stuck up about consent. Today, i am going to take this guy away with me, no matter what."

The oldest of those uninvited guests, who happened to be wearing the Zeus academy uniform spoke with a cold tone and he made a grabbing motion.

Sam felt the spiritual energy in his surroundings gain some sentience as it condensed and pulled him away towards the old elders.

"Thank you Elder Nian." he expressed his gratitude and stepped back.

Elder Nian ignored his words of thanks and looked at the Elders.

"I understand that the tensions are quite high at the moment, but that doesn't warrant such unruly behavior from the elders who are in such esteemed positions.

If you want to apprehend or even accuse one of the students of the gambler academy, do your due diligence and approach the proper channels.

You can contact our Dean Wharton, or you can approach the city guard and make them mediate the situation.

Any other approach will be seens as provocation from your academies.

Nian's words were calm, and composed and he didn't seem afraid even though there are so many elders in front of him.

Sam is actually surprised, because in all the surveillance footage that he had of Nian, he had barely seen him fight. He never even trained in hub for fighting and instead he was solely focused on developing his knowledge of inscriptions.

Weapon enchantments are in particular his specialty.

He is already a bit surprised that such a guy was placed at the gate as a guard, now Sam is interested in seeing what he is capable of.

"Elder two. Let's go." Bloody Chariot's tone got colder. The elder froze in the spot for a second and gave Sam a final dirty look before he left. Bloody Chariot looked at Nian and said.

"My apologies for his behavior."

With that he left as well.

The rest of the elders contemplated for a moment before they left as well.

Dove frowned at this and then looked at Sam with a sigh.

"Why are you always in trouble?"

Sam just shrugged and was about to walk away.

"Where do you think you are going? You are needed in a meeting. A lot of people are waiting for you."

"Waiting for me? Such an honor. But I am tired after the trial. You know I had to go and mess around with Telchines. Their young master put me through so much stress, I think I need to…"

"Come to the meeting."

She spoke coldly and walked away, she was clearly not expecting any resistance to those words.

Sam followed her with a smile.

In a meeting room, there are a lot of people. Dean Wharton is there, and all the elders of the gambler academy, who are usually holed up in their rooms doing research or busy doing expeditions are all there.

The instructors are all standing, and most of the important fourth graders and some third graders are also there.

There are no second graders and Sam is the only first grader there. The room felt a bit cramped, with all the tension in the air.

"You are finally here."

Sam smiled at him and took a seat arranged for him.

Dean Wharton asked.

"Oy Kid. Are you involved with the hub and those fools who did all those killings? You are not are you?" His question was straightforward. Sam almost chuckled.

"It doesn't matter whether he is involved or not. We need to ensure his safety. In fact, if he has any connection with them, related to this massacre or otherwise, we need to guarantee his safety even more.

If he falls in the hands of other academies, who knows what they will do to him."

He seemed really concerned.

"Still, Ling Tian, dont you think it would be better to actually know the details before we make the decision? After all, antagonizing all the Olympic academies should be worth it.

It would be if he is really innocent, but if he is really planted here by the Hub's people with some agenda, I don't believe it is worth it.

We need to interrogate him."
