Book 13: Chapter 11: Little Sister
The First White Mother’s fury seemed endless. Every one of her palm strikes took out hundreds of miles of land, squashing the Immortals below her as though they were nothing more than mere ants.
Soon, the screams that filled the air weren’t of Immortals, but were rather of high class elves wallowing in suffering caused by their own actions.
Gilpin watched on from the distance. Though he was furious, he still saw the First White Mother as nothing more than a useful idiot. She should have chased after him and hounded him to the point of death. Yet, since she cared so much about those useless mortals, she actually wasted her time taking out the canon fodder of the Elven race. This level of stupidity… it was simply inconceivable to him.
With a flip of his palm, a talisman appeared in his hand. Without hesitation, he poured his qi into it, causing it to become a large pillar of light that blasted a signal into the skies.
The First White Mother of course noticed this immediately, but she was on a mission. The quicker she forced this army to collapse to the point they didn’t dare to fight any longer, the better. It was the only way to make sure the least amount of people died.
‘Master said to leave the bubble world, but how do I take everyone out with me?’
The anxiety in her chest grew with each passing moment.
Gilpin’s sneer deepened, popping a pill into his mouth that quickly closed his injuries. He had truly underestimated the First White Mother. He should have known that Abraxus would never take in a normal disciple. Which of them weren’t monsters? But, he wouldn’t make the same mistake again. He would make the Nameless Immortal God suffer for the humiliation of all those years ago. Why not start by killing his precious junior sister?
He had already recovered to over 90% when those he signalled for made it.
The first to arrive were the two Supreme Grand Elders of the Ice and Fire Phoenix Clans, Jeanna and Imaigne. The next were the Patriarchs of the Dragon Clan, followed by the leaders of the Sprites, and finally, the Angels.
The First White Mother’s expression flickered when she noticed the approach of all of these major characters. She really couldn’t understand why all of this was happening, what had they done to deserve to be attacked like this?
She was really too naïve. The Immortal Plane already had negative feelings for them due to the actions of her First Brother. Yet, now the whole Immortal Plane had suffered at the hands of some unknown organization, while ‘coincidentally’, their Time and Space bubble world was left completely untouched.
While they had been suffering from attacks for months and barely survived, those mortals they saw as so far beneath them were here living out their normal lives. Did that seem right?
By this point, the First White Mother had no choice to stop, her expression stern. Though all of these people were older than she was, she was certain that in a one on one battle, none of them were her match. The trouble was… There were over ten of them? What was she supposed to do now?
These people weren’t normal canon fodder, they were elites of the elites, individuals their Clans had to bow their heads respectfully for, old monsters that had lived through billions of years.
“It was you who found her first?” The Dragon Patriarch of the Aurum Clan casually asked Gilpin.
“Found her? She was a fool. She came here running herself.”
“In that case, this makes things easier. She’s on the kill list, so she has to go.” A Fire Sprite replied.
If they were going to do something like this, they most definitely had to go all out to uproot everything. They couldn’t allow such dangerous individuals to have a chance to have a comeback. It was especially important that they have a piece like the First White Mother because maybe only then could they force that man to come out of hiding.
As long as he was still running around… They wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.
The First White Mother’s chest heaved, a strong resolve solidifying in her eyes.
“Cowards.”
It was a single word. Short and succinct. She didn’t explain it anymore, nor did she need to. Judging by the twisting expressions of the lofty lords before her, they didn’t need this sort of supplementary add-ons.
They knew well that their actions were exactly that. The Immortal Plane claimed to fear Dyon, but which of the Hegemons he destroyed didn’t give him a good reason? They claimed to be coming here to seek revenge in the name of justice, but just how many innocent mortals had they already killed? No, didn they even see these people as innocents? They probably saw that as cattle that could be herded and reaped as they pleased.
The First White Mother’s body grew a size, her flowing white dress bursting apart. There was only the faintest flash of intoxicating, soft skin before her body was coated in a beautiful white fur. Her legs extended and formed hooves. Her towering breasts stood tall even without support, her fur forming a flower pattern around it. Finally, her white hair grew, suddenly extending for hundreds of meters from her head.
The world shook beneath her presence, the qi in the surroundings uncontrollably surging toward her as Celestial Laws danced around her.
“Come!”
Her roar was like a clap of thunder, collapsing the skies. She just had to hold on. She was certain that her senior brother was coming, that they’d run away with their tails between their legs even if he stood before them as a mortal.
Patriarch Aurum sneered. “Are all of his disciples so arro –”
The words hardly left his mouth when his eyes widened. Without hesitation, he too entered his hybrid form, massive dragon horns jetting from his forehead and resplendent golden scales coating every inch of his body.
He threw a fist out, meeting the First White Mother’s palm.
Sharp winds spread out from their point of impact. If someone had been standing too close, even if this person was a Lower Immortal God, they would have been ripped to shreds, left bleeding with their lives hanging on by a thread.
A low grunt left the Dragon Patriarch’s lips as he took a forceful step backward in the air. The power behind his retreat was so fierce that the mountain beneath his hovering feet collapsed and flattened, forming a large crater below.
It was just a single step, but the result was clear. The First White Mother was a level more powerful.
Grave expressions coated the faces of the various matriarchs and patriarchs.
“Attack together.” Gilpin growled.
The First White Mother’s expression glowed with fighting intent. The naïve expression on her face completely vanished, replaced by an excitement for battle as though her inner beast was being released.
Her hands, legs, hair and even her head at times lashed out with minds of their own. Her fighting style was especially wild and unpredictable. It seemed as though every part of her body had become a weapon as she left shadows in the skies.
Her domain of celestial qi was especially exasperating. The 11 Immortal Gods felt as though their power was halved before they even got a chance to perfectly form them.
They knew Celestial Deer were the best at purification, yet they hadn’t expected it to become so potent.
However, the truth of it all was inevitable. There was no way that the First White Mother could hold on for long. Maybe if she had an infinite stream of stamina, she would be able to hold on, but she didn’t. No matter how monstrous she was, she had her limits. In fact, though the battle seemed quite even despite all the opponents she was facing, the truth of the matter was that she was the only one who had suffered any real injuries.
Still, her fighting intent continued to blossom and bloom.
“Did you know that celestial beasts are the most beloved creatures of the Heavens?”
Despite blood and injuries coating every inch of her body, drenching her beautiful fur in an eerie crimson, the First White Mother’s white smile could still be seen. She looked like a red demon whose only sources of light remained her eyes and teeth…
“Unlike you all, I can reincarnate. Even when I was a baby, I could fly without restriction. My flowing blood is such a treasure that even many elixirs pale in comparison. My Celestial Beast race are the most ancient beast. We were the rulers of the Chaotic Era. Yet, we still exist to this day. You want to know why…?”
The First White Mother’s ghastly grin expanded as her limbs continued to move, parrying attacks from all angles like a madwoman.
“The Heavens especially hate to see me die. So, I myself am quite lucky. For example, like now.”
The Immortal Gods assaulting the First White Mother looked toward her with a frown. Lucky? How was she lucky?
However, seeing their disdainful glances, the First White Mother’s smile only grew brighter.
“You really shouldn’t bully a little sister who has such a good big brother, don’t you think?”
BANG!
The skies shook and shattered. All of a sudden, a massive shadow was cast over the Time and Space bubble world.
Everyone looked up at once, only to see a floating island descending from above to crush them all.
