'I can't investigate it now,' thought Arthur.
He knew the limits of his strength, even if he had the skills to infiltrate underground, trying to force his way into it would only get him in trouble.
Despite the unknown threat, he had no doubt about leaving there.
In situations like this, he would return to his main philosophy. Whatever it is, it can be resolved when you become stronger.
On his way back, he picked up every Eternal Cave Mushroom that grew. There were five of them. If used properly, not to mention women like Carla, Bella, and Amanda, even the tigers and harpies could possibly become spiritual creatures.
Quickly, he arrived at the mouth of the cave again.
He didn't explore other tunnels because they were connected to the largest one.
By the time he got there, Isabel was still fighting the bears. They seemed to be skilled enough in combat that Isabel, who was still a rookie, had little trouble despite the fact that she was a Magus.
Nova, on the other hand, just watched from the top of a tree. She stared in a certain direction, occasionally squinting her eyes.
Feeling Arthur's presence, she quickly turned to him, even wanting to approach him, but Arthur had already approached her.
When he arrived by her side, he asked, "have you ever seen this creature?"
He said that while creating a manifestation of the creature inside the cave.
Seeing it, Nova was immediately surprised, her mouth opened and she said, "Gog and Magog."
"You're not talking about the mythological creatures written in some religious holy books, are you?" Arthur immediately narrowed his eyes.
He naturally had heard of them. He just never cared because he didn't have faith in any particular religion.
It is said that Gog and Magog are hidden somewhere unknown. Their numbers are many times greater than the number of humans from the beginning of life until now.
Nova nodded after hearing Arthur's words.
"That's exactly the same as the picture of Gog and Magog," she replied.
"And where did you see their picture?"
Of course, there were many pictures of Gog and Magog, but they were different from the creature. That was clearly because those pictures were only created by comic book creators who wanted to include them in their comics.
Nova also seemed to not know whether their existence was real or not, but she had seen a picture that was exactly the same as the one Arthur showed her, so she immediately recognized it.
Before answering Arthur's question, she took a deep breath. "I saw it at the Vera University Library."
"There..." Arthur spontaneously looked towards the city.
At least in this city, it was the largest library with many scientific works in it, including books written by archaeologists whether famous or not.
"Do you still remember the book's title and author?" Arthur asked again, which was responded to by Nova shaking her head.
"I don't remember, but I think I can find it if it's still there."
"Okay, I want you to accompany me to that library after we come back from here," Arthur said.
Hearing that, Nova's eyes moved up to look at him. She looked hesitant and frozen at the same time.
"By the way, did you sense something there?" Arthur asked that because he saw Nova's gaze before he approached her.
She was a little calmer after he changed the subject.
"My instincts tell me that there's something hidden there, but there's some kind of wall blocking my sense of smell. I think I can only smell it clearly if I get very close."
"Is that so!" Arthur held his chin.
However, he wasn't in a hurry to leave. He chose to wait for his aunt and go there together.
The woman kept fighting. Over time, her skills improved rapidly. This was an advantage for anyone who had spiritual power. Even if they were not the type to enjoy fighting, their fighting skills would still improve drastically as long as they continued to practice.
After about 30 minutes, the bears chose to flee.
Isabel did not kill them, and even though they continued to fight her, they were still defeated.
This may have made them realize that their enemy was only toying with them.
Of course, after the fight, Isabel was very tired. Her breathing became fast while her skin was covered in sweat.
She immediately sat down, although the place she sat was somewhat dirty ground.
Arthur approached her. At this point, green light emanated from his palm as he touched Isabel's completely soaked back.
"Was that a satisfying fight, Aunt?" Arthur said, starting a conversation.
"Can you give me some water?" She did not answer immediately, but instead asked for water first.
Arthur nodded, taking a bottle that he had hanging from his waist. He took it from Isabel's car and brought it to this forest.
After opening the bottle cap, he handed it to Isabel.
The latter immediately drank it.
In just a few moments, she had finished half of the water in the bottle.
"Now I know why everyone dreams of being a superhero," she said after calming her breath.
Arthur laughed at that.
Although it had been several days since she had acquired magical power, because she had only fully unleashed it today, she had only been able to feel the full sensation today.
"By the way, let's go now. Delaying too long is not a good thing," Isabel said, looking in the direction where Nova had been looking before.
"You're still tired, wait a few more minutes," Arthur replied, furrowing his brow because he felt strange.
The problem here was that it would be more appropriate for him to say what Isabel had said.
Basically, he was asking her to get ready right away, and on the other hand, Isabel was asking for a little time to wait.
However, the opposite happened.
While he was confused, Isabel suddenly grabbed his hand, saying, "Can't you carry me on your back? With your power, I know it's not difficult at all."
Her lips curved slightly as she said that, while her eyes looked directly into his.
Suddenly, Arthur realized that she had hidden intentions, so he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Carry her? He felt it was a bit silly...
