"Boss, we're going to lose track of her," Rose said, looking at Melly who was getting further and further away.
However, Arthur had no worries about that because there were four very sharp eyes helping him.
When the red light turned green, he said, "Turn left!"
It was a different road to the one Melly was traveling on.
This time, Rose chose not to ask any questions, worried that Arthur would be unhappy. She followed his orders, turning the car to the left.
When Rose's car arrived at another intersection, they met Melly again.
"So she chose another road to outwit us? And wasn't she actually aware that she was being followed?" Rose said.
Of course, what's strange is that knowing she was being followed, instead of going to a safe place and reporting to the police, she played a trick, something that European children of this era are unlikely to do.
"Keep following her," Arthur said.
Since she had already realized, hiding was also pointless.
Arthur even suspected that she knew that he was the one who was following her.
She saw Rose's car, narrowed her eyes again, but didn't stop like before.
However, a few moments later, she stopped in front of a shop that turned out to be a butcher shop.
After stopping, she went inside the shop.
'Surely there's no cat and bird food in that shop,' Arthur thought as he signaled Rose to stop the car.
Melly didn't stay long in the shop, coming out with a large plastic bag full of meat.
People who saw her couldn't help but be confused, wondering what the girl had bought so much meat for.
After that, she continued her journey on her bicycle.
However, even though she was carrying heavy items on her bike, she really didn't seem bothered. She was still as fast and agile as before as if the plastic bag of meat was not weighing her down at all.
When she arrived in front of a small alley, she then entered it.
"Oh!" Arthur became more interested.
The alley didn't actually lead anywhere.
At the end was a six-meter high wall.
And behind that wall was a zoo.
It was of course not as simple as a zoo, but a huge zoo that completely replicated the concept of life in the jungle. In other words, there were no cages in it.
Visitors usually enter the zoo in their cars.
Arriving in front of the wall, Melly got off her bike and walked towards the wall while continuing to carry the plastic bag.
'Wait, did she make those holes?' Arthur suddenly realized there was something wrong with the wall.
There was a row of small holes from bottom to top, each of which could basically be entered by the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet.
If someone wanted to climb the wall through those holes, it would be an easy thing.
And sure enough, Melly climbed the wall.
Any other girl but a trained one would have been terrified, but Melly was as relaxed as if she were a lizard.
Her movements were quite fast, it didn't take long before she reached the top of the wall.
If other people saw that scene, they would definitely scream in terror.
Falling from there was enough to leave anyone dead or paralyzed.
"Boss, how about we look from inside that building?" Rose pointed at the building next to the alley as she made a suggestion to Arthur.
The latter nodded lightly.
As Melly got off the wall, they got off the car before going to the building.
It was actually an electronics store, anyone could enter.
The upper floors themselves were also still that shop, so you could go up to the second floor and so on except for the highest floor which became an office.
However, the fourth floor was enough for Arthur and Rose.
They ignored the clerk who wanted to ask what products they wanted to buy and went straight to the restroom at the back.
At the end of the restroom, there was a glass window overlooking the zoo.
From there, you can see the entire zoo clearly.
Melly had just reached the ground when they arrived in front of the window and what they saw left their eyes wide open.
'How is that possible?' Even Arthur was astonished by the sight.
In front of Melly at this moment there were various types of flesh-eating animals.
There were some birds that were quite large although not as big as those harpies.
There were no cats, but there were some big cats like tigers and lions.
The thing is, they were very friendly to her.
When she approached them, they approached her. The lion and tiger even licked her feet.
Melly smiled at each of them. She opened the plastic bag, took out the meat inside and fed the animals each one.
'I'm sure she's just an ordinary human, what abilities does she use?' Arthur wondered.
It must be known that the animals here are not so tame as they live almost like in the wild.
Although they are fed by humans, they do not get close to any human.
Even if they were tame, there is no way they would be tame with strangers.
"I'm going to see that girl," Arthur said to Rose.
He opened the window and jumped straight out of it.
Whoosh!
In one leap, he landed on top of the wall without making any sound at all so Melly and the animals didn't notice.
Then, he jumped straight to the ground.
When he landed this time, they finally noticed him.
However, Melly showed no surprise at all. She even smiled at Arthur and then said, "Yoo, my young father, you finally showed up..."
When Rose who was following Arthur heard her words, she opened her lips slightly, wondering again if there was some drama here.
pαпdα`noνɐ1`сoМ "Girl, who exactly are you?" Arthur asked, getting straight to the point.
"Me?" Melly pointed at herself as if confused by Arthur's question.
"Don't you know exactly who I am? My name is Melly, Anna's daughter," she replied.
