Arthur and Nova returned to their respective classes without any interruption.

Even Carla and Bella didn't notice anything.

They didn't know where Nova was and also didn't know that Arthur wasn't in his class.

In class, Arthur chatted with Harry about a few things until the exam started.

Since this was the last exam, so Arthur was a little more serious than the last two.

Although he couldn't answer some of the questions, but he thought his grade wouldn't be that bad.

After the exam was over, he immediately left the school without waiting for Carla and Bella.

That was because he sensed Samuel's presence near the school.

The old man was behind an old building, leaning against the wall while smoking a long cigar.

He looked relaxed.

However, when he saw Arthur, he hurriedly put out his cigar.

"Ehmm!" He cleared his throat, surprised that he really couldn't sense Arthur's existence before seeing him with his own eyes.

"Looks like you already have a decision," Arthur said.

"Yes..." The old man nodded.

"I will join you."

"Good, you chose the right path. Now, I want you to go to London and stay there, building up your power slowly."

"This..." Arthur's words made the old man hesitate.

"B-bos..." He started calling Arthur by that word even though it sounded unfamiliar.

"London is now not an easy place for any power because the kingdom is very aggressively building up power. They can definitely sense any power." He said.

"You don't seem to understand what I mean," Arthur replied, causing Samuel to be confused.

He showed a question mark-like expression.

"You're a British citizen, right?" Arthur asked.

"Yes, I'm a native Englishman," Samuel replied.

"Then it shouldn't be a problem if you join the kingdom, they won't reject you?"

Hearing that, Samuel suddenly understood what Arthur meant.

This is not building an independent power in London, but joining the kingdom, becoming part of it and then creating a personal power within the kingdom.

Basically, it was like putting a thorn in the flesh.

"Can you do it?" asked Arthur.

Samuel nodded hastily.

"I'll do it!"

"This is for you!" Arthur released several pieces of paper to the old man.

Before he could examine the papers, Arthur asked, "list of magus and knights, did you send it to that cell phone number?"

"Yes, I sent everything I know," Samuel replied.

"Good!"

After that, Arthur walked away.

He looked at the clock on his watch and thought about going home to his aunt's house now since there was really nothing he needed to do today.

The new agarwood branch that Parker was going to import hadn't arrived yet and the goods that the mafia had sent hadn't arrived either. He wasn't sure when they would come, which was why he could only wait.

***

When he returned to his aunt's house, he found no one.

Carla obviously didn't go straight home after that last exam because he, Bella, and her other friends were going to celebrate.

This left Arthur alone there.

He spent the time meditating, absorbing the energy of the surroundings which were quite dense due to the presence of skull underground.

Afternoon!

He finally heard the sound of his aunt's car.

It didn't take long before he saw her figure that looked more beautiful by the day.

Her skin became brighter and at first glance she looked younger but with a very mature aura.

Today, she was wearing a gray shirt layered over a long coat and a knee-length skirt. Her hair is in a neat bun, leaving none of it loose so that the skin of her charming neck is fully visible.

However, she was not alone when she entered the living room.

Jade was still following her.

The two of them stared at Arthur while Isabel walked straight towards him.

"Ahh, it's been a long day," she said and she sat down on the sofa, right next to Arthur.

Then, she picked up the cup in front of him and drank from it.

"Aunt, what made you so tired?" Arthur asked in a soft voice.

Isabel didn't answer right away, suddenly after that, she dropped her head on his thigh.

"Can you massage my head first?" She said.

Massaging her head was easy, Arthur could even make her very comfortable with his magic, but that was impossible with Jade standing in front of them.

He glanced at the woman and then looked into Isabel's eyes, wondering why she didn't tell her to leave while there was no luggage Jade needed to carry.

"Oh, don't worry, Jade already knows that we are magus," she said suddenly.

Arthur, "..."

Jade remained calm because of Isabel's words, she didn't even react as she looked at Arthur. Only the latter was surprised there.

"Aunt, you?" Arthur couldn't help but look at her with a questioning expression but wasn't sure what he needed to ask.

This woman ended up acting on her own without involving him.

"There's the inevitable," Isabel replied.

"We were suddenly attacked by a group of Evolvers, Jade was helpless against them, so I had to take action. Even if I had contacted you, it would have been too late."

"Who attacked you?" Arthur's expression finally turned serious.

In this city, they were really attacked, who could have done it?

The Mossad could practically not act here, basically only the European Military could move freely.

Although Rose and the others were currently building up strength, it would still be difficult to detect them due to their great authority.

"Politics is of course full of problems, enemies can become friends and friends can become enemies," Isabel replied.

"I started lobbying the military brass to make Andi the Military Chief of Vera State, it went well, even the Army Chief of Staff has agreed, it's only a matter of time before the man is sworn in. However, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army didn't agree to it. I later found out that he had a good relationship with General James."

"Then why did he attack you?" Arthur thought it was for another reason.

"I was informed that Owen visited James before he was captured, I'm afraid he gave information to him and he then gave information to the Deputy Chief. Maybe their goal was to attack you but in the end they started with me first." Isabel explained.

Hearing that, Arthur knitted his brows.

Then he asked, "what about those Evolvers, where are they now?"

"We have captured them and hidden them in a warehouse," Isabel replied.

"Do they not speak?"

"They absolutely refused to speak to me even though I used my lightning to harm them. Jade said that they were soldiers trained in such a cruel way that they didn't hesitate to hurt themselves or even kill themselves if that was the order."

Isabel took Arthur's hand after she said that and placed it on top of his head, signaling him to start massaging it.

Arthur did not massage, but sent cold energy into her head, instantly giving her a very comfortable sensation throughout her body that she breathed deeply, as if she had just drunk an iced orange after passing through the extremely hot sahara desert.

"You know, the Army's Deputy Chief of Staff is a 3-Star General, the strongest of all 3-Star Generals. In other words, he is a very troublesome person when he targets us." Isabel continued.

"What are you planning, aunt?" Arthur asked with narrowed eyes while staring at Isabel's green eyes that seemed brighter than usual, like they were green suns.

The woman seemed to want to carry out a counterattack that was no joke.

"Actually, even if that guy is imprisoned, he will still be very troublesome because there are too many parties he can control. Hence, I'm thinking of making him disappear from this world." She replied.

Jade did not react to her answer as if she had already discussed that with her.

However, Arthur could not help but stare at his aunt with an expression of not expecting that she would make that decision.

"Are you sure, aunt?" he asked, looking deeper into her eyes.

He wondered if the power of magic had affected her to that extent.

"This is a rational choice for the safety of our family," she replied.

"Of course I don't mind, but the chance of killing him might be difficult," Arthur said.

With his position, who knew how many soldiers were guarding him.

Plus, even if he happened to not be a good general, the military would definitely not keep quiet if their general was assassinated because it would tarnish Europe worldwide. People would probably think that they are weak and incompetent.

"This was planned," Isabel replied as she looked up at the sky through the window.

It had become dimmer.

"Tomorrow night, that man will go to the Spring Forest, we'll ambush him there."

"What is he doing there?" Arthur became more confused.

It was practically one of the largest forests in Europe, located in central Europe, between Germany and France.

Although it wasn't an unexplored forest, it was still very difficult to enter.

"Hmm..." Isabel smiled coldly.

"Of course, he's building his personal force there, a force composed of Evolvers. That's why he's an enemy that must be eliminated as soon as possible."
