"Aunt, what do you want to do?" asked Arthur before she stepped up to pull him along.
Although the camp was not so small, it was still not as spacious as a bed. You can't sleep together without bumping into each other's hands and feet.
"What, why are you afraid?" Isabel continued to look into Arthur's eyes and smiled.
Right after that, she suddenly laughed.
"What's wrong with you camping with me? Unless you have strange thoughts?" Her eyes narrowed slightly when she said that.
Hearing that, Arthur rolled his eyes as he wasn't sure what she meant.
"Come on, let's camp together so I can learn more magic from you," she said again as she took a step towards the camp, pulling Arthur's hand.
Of course, Rose and the others hadn't really slept yet as they had also just entered their tents.
While from the outside the view inside the camps was not visible, but it was different from the inside, everything outside was clearly visible.
Rose and Jade were surprised when they saw Isabel pulling Arthur into her camp. The latter feel doubtful while the former thought strangely, wondering if the boss had a habit of sleeping with his aunt.
Although this is not considered a disorder, it is still something that should not be done as it can lead to very forbidden things.
Inside the camp, Arthur found two small pillows that could still be used by adults.
There were also snacks and drinks, probably placed by the mercenaries.
Isabel took one of the snacks, which contained potato chips.
She unwrapped it and ate one chip before pointing the packet at Arthur.
"Eat it," she said.
However, Arthur shook his head.
"Aunt, I want to sleep."
He chose to compromise to sleep in the camp but he wanted to sleep now.
Hearing that, Isabel knitted her brows.
"Isn't it too early to sleep, I haven't asked anything about magic." She said, making Arthur smile wryly.
She could say that because she had slept all the way from Vera to Utah.
Of course, Arthur himself meditated during that trip so his eyes were quite fresh.
However, that wasn't enough as the mind also needed to be calmed once in a while, which is why Arthur wanted to sleep.
"Aunt, let's discuss the magic tomorrow, I promise I will answer all your confusions," Arthur said.
He pretended to be very sleepy as he said that.
Fortunately, Isabel was not the type of selfish woman who wanted her every wish to be followed.
Hearing Arthur's words, she nodded.
"Well, let's go to bed first," she said and she lay down first before Arthur did.
Plus, her face was facing the area where Arthur was.
Although Arthur said he wanted to sleep, lying next to his aunt made it a bit awkward.
"Come on, do you think you're so big that you don't want to lie next to me?" She said with a strange smile.
When she was drunk, she wanted to do unreasonable things, and it seemed to appear again even when she was not drunk.
Arthur wondered if that desire had always been with her and she was using this situation for that.
Slowly, he began to lie down but with his face up.
Just as he was lying down, Isabel suddenly placed her hand on his chest while her eyes looked into his, as if she wanted to see something.
Fortunately, Arthur was used to the touch of women so he did not show any overreaction.
Plus, he was able to maintain his calm expression.
"Arthur, how many women have you slept with since you returned from the other world? Besides Amanda, who else have you slept with? What about Rose?" She suddenly asked questions that made Arthur's eyes flicker.
Spontaneously, he counted how many women he had made love to. Mia, Linda, Amanda, Nova, Anna, and Amy.
After counting them all, Arthur himself couldn't help but be surprised.
He who used to be shy had already made love to six women in just a few weeks.
His reaction could not escape Isabel's gaze.
Her eyes showed disbelief as she said, "don't tell me there are more than I thought? I predicted three women."
Arthur, "..."
"Aunt, since when have you been curious about your nephew's affairs?" asked Arthur.
It's not that he didn't like being asked like that by Isabel, but he felt very awkward regardless of his past experience. However, that experience had not changed the way he looked at Isabel, he still regarded her as an elder and he respected her.
"Why? Am I not allowed to ask about that?" She replied, raising her head so that she could see his face more clearly.
"I don't think I'll answer that," Arthur replied.
After saying that, he pretended to yawn.
"Aunt, I have to sleep now, good night!" He said then faced the side of the camp, his back to his aunt.
The latter watched his movements with an ever-widening smile.
'Do young men these days become more and more shy as they get older?' She wondered.
Of course, Isabel had no strange intentions of doing any of that.
She did it purely because she wanted to know more about her nephew who she thought had changed too much.
Unexpectedly, he actually looked awkward in front of her.
'It seems that his perception of me is a bit muddled. Although he doesn't have any strange feelings, he's worried that they're showing up. Ahh, after all, I'm not his mother.' Isabel thought.
After that, she also closed her eyes.
The night in the forest was really quiet, especially with the giant crocodile guarding, even the sound of mosquitoes was not heard at all, it seemed that no mosquitoes dared to approach the area around this lake.
For Arthur who had often slept in the forest when he was growing up in the Sky World, he had no trouble sleeping soundly.
In fact, he slept even better than he expected.
He didn't know what happened, but tonight he felt very comfortable.
And when he opened his eyes in the morning, he finally realized where that sense of comfort came from.
Right in front of him, he saw his aunt's face with her eyes closed. It was so close that her nose was almost touching his.
If it was just their faces facing each other it wouldn't matter at all to Arthur, he would just be a little awkward, but his body and Isabel's body were completely embracing each other.
Right after he opened his eyes, Isabel also opened her eyes. She must have woken up earlier and was just waiting for him to wake up from his sleep because the moment she opened her eyes, her face immediately showed a faint smile.
"Arthur, it seems that your affection for me is very great. When you sleep, you hug me so tightly." She said and then laughed softly.
After saying that, she shifted her body forward so that their bodies were pressed closer together.
"However, I must admit that this is very comfortable, you are warm and strong. It seems to be true what some of my friends said, hugging one's own son is much more comfortable than hugging a partner because there is pure love. Although you are not my son, but all this time I raised you like you were my son, this should be no different." She added.
Arthur, "..."
"Aunt, I think this is something to avoid," Arthur replied in a low voice.
"Avoided? Why?" Isabel responded with narrowed eyes. "Don't tell me you feel uncomfortable hugging me? Uncomfortable because of what?"
Of course, Arthur felt comfortable sleeping hugging the person he loved, but this kind of comfort should only be felt momentarily, not excessively.
Isabel's question made it difficult for him to answer because it was also not a topic that should be discussed.
However, how could Isabel not think about it.
Plus, she doesn't seem to be afraid of talking about it.
"You won't look at me any differently other than that I'm your aunt, right?" She asked again with sharper eyes.
Arthur rolled his eyes.
This was indeed something worrying because the human heart is something unpredictable.
However, what Arthur was more worried about was not himself because his heart was not an ordinary human heart anymore, he was more worried about Isabel.
What if she was the one who ended up having a strange imagination.
"Aunt, you have to be careful with yourself." Arthur finally said that to remind her.
Isabel raised her eyebrows after hearing that, looking thoughtful. It showed that she was only speculating about Arthur but not herself.
"Don't say nonsense," she said suddenly and she immediately sat up while her hand pinched Arthur's cheek.
It was obvious that she didn't dare to think about it for too long.
After sitting up, she tidied up her clothes that had become messy.
"The others are cooking, let's go out," she continued and she immediately opened the camp, going out in a hurry.
Arthur didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that.
He sighed, shaking his head.
He thought his life had become strange, completely different from his journey in the Sky World. Maybe it was because he didn't have a family there like he did here.
