Usually, History Quests warn unsuspecting players who enter the radius of the quest in order to prevent them from getting any closer than would be safe for them, and this was exactly one of the reasons why a pair of experienced players discovered that such a quest was taking place in the Tretidian Royal Palace.
In addition, the rumbling, shaking and screaming were also attracting attention.
However, no one knew who could be the person who was doing a mission there because, disregarding the fights in which Ravastine appeared in public, few players had ever seen a member of the royal family and even fewer players had the opportunity to do a mission for them in the almost five months since the official launch of Rise Online.
Two players gave resurfaced in the Capital's main square just as a group of streamers were gathering to do a close-up coverage of the palace These players were the Tanks of the Desert Lions Guild, Jarnus and Kalma.
Many players present in the square recognized both of them, as both Jarnus and Kalma were references in this role.
Jarnus was best known as the 'Ideal Tank', as he never backed down even when faced with enemies that were above his level.
Kalma was known as the 'Tank of Grace', because her fighting style was not like other Tanks. She used more passive defense, dodging enemy attacks and only attacking and defending when she thought it would be safe.
Obviously, their appearance caught the attention of the many streamers who were in the square at the time, and soon some of them came to the conclusion that the appearance of two of the Tanks in that particular place in standard clothing could only mean that they were dead.
What could kill these two at almost the same time for them to resurface together? Perhaps a creature of Legendary rank?
Jarnus and Kalma looked at each other as they had to face this tsunami of questions and had the same idea. This was the perfect moment for them to end Kaizen's reputation as a hero, which had just killed them.
That being the case, the two announced to the streamers, and to all the players in the square, that Kaizen had invaded the palace to kill the Queen and King of Tretidian, and that their guild had been called in to help defend the palace.
'Technically, that's not completely a lie.' Kalma thought with an inflated smile after finishing her announcement. She also had great confidence that the rest of the guild would be able to beat Kaizen even without them, and that Kaizen would soon appear in that square to give explanations.
Upon hearing the words of the two players, everyone was surprised that Kaizen dared to challenge the entire nobility and immediately matched the information of a History Mission happening in the Royal Palace.
"So, it is Kaizen who is doing the mission at the Palace..."
"Why would he accept a mission like that? Isn't that dumb? There's no way he could complete it."
"I don't know, but I'm sure he'll pay for it!"
"That's crazy!"
"He can only be crazy to do something like that."
"I'm sure he'll die. There's no way anyone un-evolved can survive an attack from the entire Desert Lions Guild."
By now, Kaizen's name had spread throughout the webnet's broadcast chats. However, what many still did not know was that Kaizen would be able to successfully complete the mission.

As far as Kaizen knew, Rise Online's relationship mechanics allowed players to create different types of bonds with NPCs and evolve that as well as he did with Therkara and Zahir.
The better a relationship with an NPC, the chances of getting quests related to this NPC and rewards also increased considerably. In other words, getting the gratitude of an NPC also meant getting more quests, which will always be very good for players who will never reject high amounts of XP, money and various other rewards.
However, it was almost common knowledge that no matter how good a connection a player has with NPC, if the player dies during a quest and fails, there is no going back and the player will literally become invisible to the NPC. From that point on, it becomes impossible for even another player to share a mission with the first player that is related to the NPC in question.
For reasons like this and others, Story Quests have always been considered high risk, high reward quests.
If a player can create a bond with crucial characters that can impact the entire story of the game, as some of the characters in the History Quests are, the chances of being able to ascend in society become greater and receiving frequent quests of the same level also grows. However, since the world is not only made of flowers, there is also the risk of dying during a History Quest, then the NPCs related to that quest will never remember the player again, which would be terrible because it would prevent you from doing History Quests in a very large area.
Also, Story Quests do not guarantee wonderful rewards, at least not the first few quests. To get good rewards you have to get to the end of a quest sequence, and that makes it more difficult. Few players would make it to the climax of a Story Quest sequence, it requires a lot of patience, coolness and time, which most people don't have.

"Kaizen did that?"
"No, I bet the mission was Taznaar!"
"If the mission was Kaizen's, does that mean the King and Queen are dead?"
"Kaizen didn't show up at the spawn, so he did it! HAHAHA! Taznaar wasn't able to win even with his entire Guild?"
"What's going on?"
Everyone was very confused and anxious to get more details of what had happened, while Kalma and Jarnus couldn't believe that their guild was actually defeated even though they were outnumbered. Considering that Psyker was alone in the throne room, the two couldn't tell if they felt that Kaizen was the smartest player they knew, the luckiest or the bravest.
