When Linus kicked Lucia's teddy bear and threw it away, her mischievous face changed completely. Her eyes filled with tears and she exclaimed:

"What... what just happened?"

eαglesnᴏνel Then she began to cry, and for a change, even her crying was not like that of an ordinary girl of her age. The atmosphere in the hall immediately became dense and heavy, as if everything had become black and white at the same time the gravity had increased. Kaizen and Linus felt as if the gravity of the place had increased, making it difficult even for them to move, as if there was a great weight on their backs. At that moment, they realized that Lucia was not only frightening, but her powers bordered on the supernatural.

As she screamed outrageously, her shrill voice echoing through the maze and nearly bursting their eardrums, Kaizen and Linus watched the girl carefully, trying to find a way to make her stop. Would swinging the sword in her direction be enough? Perhaps, except that the sound of her screaming was so loud that it barely allowed them to move their limbs, such was the pain they felt.

When the girl's crying finally began to subside, Lucia slowly raised her head and looked at them with a blank, expressionless stare. Gradually, the expression changed to a macabre smile, and she began to laugh out loud, tears still trickling down the corners of her eyes.

'EH? She turned into the Joker?

The sound of the laughter changed places with the sound of her wailing and began to echo in every corner, leaving Kaizen and Linus confused and uncomfortable.

"You think you've won? You think you can defeat me?" Lucia asked, still laughing. "You are so naive. I am much more powerful than you can imagine. I am far more powerful than any of you can imagine!"

Kaizen and Linus exchanged a look, worried about what might come next. Suddenly, the girl disappeared from their view and appeared right behind Linus, holding him by the neck.

The psyker didn't hesitate for a moment and ran at Lucia, sword in hand, but before he could cut her arm, she vanished and reappeared somewhere else. It was as if she moved instantly, without leaving a trace. This didn't seem to be a teleportation spell, because she didn't use any items, magic or enchantments, it was just her actual speed.

Fortunately, she let go of Linus when she saw that she could be hit by Kaizen. And the mark of her small hand was still on the front of Kaizen's neck.

Kaizen and Linus looked at each other again, now more worried and confused by the situation. Linus had his hand on his neck, unable to respond to the girl's earlier attack, as if anything he tried would be useless against her.

To tell the truth, they didn't know how to deal with such a powerful and unpredictable opponent.

Meanwhile, Lucia continued to laugh out loud, as if enjoying the situation.

"You think you can beat me? HEHEHEHE! What a fool!"

Kaizen realized that the girl was not fighting to win, but rather to have fun. This only increased his concern, as he didn't know what she was capable of.

Suddenly, she disappeared in front of his eyes, leaving Kaizen perplexed once again. He looked around, trying to find any sign of the girl, but she seemed to be completely gone.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

"Where is she?" Kaizen wondered, looking everywhere.

Suddenly, a terrifying laugh echoed through the room. Kaizen turned quickly to see Lucia clinging to the cavernous ceiling of the hallway, smiling even more macabrely than before as she stood with the delicate fingers of one hand embedded in the rock as if it were nothing. This time, the bear was back in her possession, and where Linus had thrown the bear was the body of the unconscious Minotaur. Now it all made sense: the bear had taken possession of the Minotaur's body, which was why it was so big.

With a contemptuous look, Lucia said: "You are so weak. You don't even know how to handle a little girl."

Irritated by the girl's debauched tone, Kaizen decided not to let her play with him anymore. He activated his <Psychokinesis> ability again and tried to pull Lucia close, after all, if he managed to pin her down and then wedge her sword in, nothing would probably save her. But she resisted, not psychically or supernaturally, but with her physical strength.

She began to laugh at Kaizen's attempt. Then she held out her hand and three magical circles appeared from her palm, casting a black beam in Kaizen's direction, who had to jump away to avoid being hit.

I need a plan, just a plan to stop her. She knows magic and has monstrous physical strength. I have a lot of options to defeat her, but why can't I think of anything? Kaizen thought, charging himself for a better position. It was ridiculous to be at the mercy of a little girl's attacks.

Kaizen took a deep breath, trying to calm himself and think clearly. He looked around, assessing his options. He needed a quick and efficient plan to neutralize Lucia. But how could he do that without knowing anything about her?

After a few moments, when the girl came down from the ceiling and touched her feet to the floor, his eyebrows raised and his mouth almost fell open in indignation and surprise. The answer had been right in front of him the whole time and he hadn't even noticed.

"Linus, do you have a sword?" Kaizen asked, keeping his eyes on the girl's teddy bear.

"No, why?" Linus replied, also keeping his attention on the girl.

Kaizen tossed him the Næġling Falske and said:

"Take this and use it when I tell you to. In the meantime, just cover me."

"But..."

"It doesn't matter. I have a plan, and we are going to kill the Seventh Bishop of the Eye of Hermodr right here and now."

Linus seemed surprised at the idea, but agreed without a second's thought.
