Eisen looked down at the piece of paper with a smile on his face before putting it back into the spatial gem he was carrying with him.
"Are you kidding me?" Brody asked with a loud, obviously annoyed groan, "Are you seriously gonna finish this up before me? How annoying is that?" The Demon Orc sighed with his arms crossed, while Eisen just slightly laughed and looked at Brody with a smile on his face.
"Don’t worry, it won’t take you long to get there either. And really, the fact that I have to literally have to go for this next one should make up for it, right?" Eisen pointed out, before Brody just slightly shrugged, "Still annoying."
The old man smiled a bit as he started stepping down the stairs to really get into the main area of the garden, quickly followed by the other originals and Sky.
"What do you think our other tasks will be?" Evalia asked Xenia, as the two of them were the only ones that didn’t reach level 300 yet, and the High-Elf thought about it for a little while, "Well, Eisen’s were all somehow related to different achievements that weren’t directly related to him being a craftsman, so I’m not sure if we can exactly guess. But really, what a coincidence that you were on your path for that already, huh?"
"Was it?" Sky then suddenly asked, and the others looked at him surprised and intrigued, before Xenia looked down at him with her brows raised, "What do you mean?"
The Fey-Kin boy scratched the back of his neck with a slight groan before explaining, "Eisen was coincidentally brought to a place where he would end up becoming a champion? Who knows, maybe that ’great goddess’ made sure he would end up in Melroe and meet the gold dragon. One’s element is dependant not only on their actions, but also on their soul itself, so it might have been so that no matter what, he would have always gotten the Flame of the Earth element. Since it’s a supportive element made to, amongst other things, boost the user’s body, it was only a matter of time for him to get that sort of form. The ’Golden-Eyed Demon’ was a well-known demon in the past, even if it wasn’t know that it was one of those that peaked. As such, him being acknowledged as the ’Golden-Eyed Demon’ was only a matter of time as well."
After that sight on things, Jyuuk slowly cupped his chin and then nodded his head, even though he was still concerned about something else, "Alright, that does all make sense, but what about the ’become a king’ one? If Samuel hadn’t told us to found a country, we may have never done it."
"Actually, I don’t think so." Sky replied, "The reasons that that Samuel gave you for founding a country might have been legitimate. If he thought he would be able to control you like dolls, then it would have been the best way to get influence over the whole world, right? After all, with all the power and contacts you all have, there wouldn’t be many that would want to fight you after finding out who you are. But even then, Eisen said that the one who made the suggestion about making a town was you, Jyuuk. The next step after that would have naturally been to found a country." Once more, Sky summed everything up in a pretty comprehensive way, and Eisen just ended up quietly walking forward while he thought about what Sky said.
"Definitely, that makes sense..." Evalia replied after a little while, and Sky just lightly smirked, "Well, I’m a smart one, after all." Sky pointed out, and Eisen turned his eyes toward him with his brows slightly raised. Sky never was the type to brag like that, although it was most likely a joke. But that was really a good thing though, since it meant that he felt comfortable enough with all of them to actually make these kinds of jokes without any worry.
Eisen tried to think about what exactly he should do to actually get his demon title’s requirements over with, and although it wasn’t the very next piece on the priority list, it was second only to stopping the possibility of major war between players and metallic dragons emerging. He would fly back to the continent in a little while for this... Which was quite annoying, really. Eisen just got here, and he would have to leave again basically immediately.
Either way, at some point, the rest of the group also reached the workshop deeper in the garden, where Constant had really already prepared everything that Eisen would need to get started with reparing Girland’s body.
And so, the old man quickly did something he should really try out first, since it was something he needed for crafting. He activated the rather lengthy ’Draconic Demon King’ transformation. For the most part, it seemed to be really the same, just that he had now a dozen differently sized horns at the top of his head that were intertwining and twisting to form a shape that could really be just called a crown.
Eisen looked at him within a mirror that Xenia quickly made for him using magic, with satisfaction. Of course, since this transformation also made him taller than normal ever since the ’Draconic’ part was added to it, Eisen actually actively shrunk himself down now to counteract that growth. This way, he was just his regular height right now.
With a satisfied expression, Eisen grabbed the materials that Constant prepared for him and quickly started to alloy them with each other. And while that was happening, Eisen thought he should take that little bit of time to play around with his new ’Crafting Realm’ skill. He swiftly activated it and basically felt the room be filled out with his mana. Xenia’s ears slightly started twitching and she got goosebumps on her arms, so Eisen knew that it was actually the case judging from her discomforted reaction.
The moment that Eisen did this, he noticed some smaller, subtle changes everywhere. The flames’ temperature was adjusted to be perfect for alloying the metals, the metal itself stopped just so slightly sticking to the inner surface of the crucible. The air became easier to breath, and Eisen felt like his body became much lighter, while somehow all the important materials and tools that he needed for this current project seemed to stick out to him. It was somewhat like they were simply more vibrant while everything else was slightly grayed out, although Eisen was positive that it wasn’t actually the case. He just thought that it was, even without his eyes actually making him do it. He was just super aware of all of the things he needed, and that made them automatically seem like they literally stuck out.
Eisen pulled out his hammer from his apron and stepped over toward the finished alloy, before pouring it out into ingot molds. He soon pulled the ingots out of those molds while they were still hot, and before they even cooled down started to hammer them into shape. And those shapes were that of the areas were parts of Girland’s skin were quite literally missing. Just crumbled away and destroyed.
Either way, it seemed like Parc and Rouge did a pretty good job so far with preparing Girland’s body for everything, so Eisen swiftly prepared the pieces for the areas that they had already finished. For now, the old man just let the pieces cool down a little more while he took a look into Girland’s body to once more make sure that he knew all the places where parts of the glass was missing, too scratched up, or simply too brittle.
Since even Eisen thought that this would be a little too invasive for Girland to have two apprentices literally stick their fingers inside of her body and scratch around in there, Eisen took on the task of preparing the parts where the glass needed to be replaced. Girland didn’t really seem to have too much of an issue with it though, as she simply let Eisen do what he had to do.
After Eisen was done with this, he started getting the glass for everything ready by mixing the silica sand, limestone, soda ash, and multiple different crystals together before smelting it down and properly mixing it together. He then went ahead and started blowing the glass into shape using his glassblowing pipe, although he was a little bit annoyed by the fact that the multitool was shaking around because it was angry or annoyed that Eisen was using a different tool. He should just try to add whatever he could ever really need to the multitool for the next artificial evolution. It was still quite a while away, but better late than never, really.
After Eisen finished all the parts up, he swiftly attached them in the right places and fixed them in places using material-combination through alchemy, and then just smoothed everything over a little more. There was still a bit of a shade-difference between the new parts and the old parts, but if Girland disliked this, Evalia could simply go ahead and paint over her metal skin a little bit so that you couldn’t notice the differnce between the parts.
But it seemed like Girland didn’t really mind, so Eisen was fine with it as well.
"Thank you for finally repairing me. Then now, I think there are a lot of things to take care of. As usual, I assume that you wish to leave and want me to take care of everything?" Girland asked, patting down her clothes a little bit to get rid of the dust, and Eisen smiled at her and nodded his head.
"It would be great if you could. There is something I need to take care of soon, so I’ll be leaving in the morning to fly over there. The others are staying here though, so ask them for any help you need."
"Of course. But as there are mostly logistical matters take care of, I don’t think there is much to help me with. Maybe asking Serio might be a better idea, he seems to be messing around right now, so he could use someone to make sure he doesn’t. And I truthfully just don’t want to be the one to do that."
With a slight laugh, Eisen just turned around as he started trying to figure out if there was anything else he needed to do tonight. It was getting relatively late over here right now, so it might be a good idea to just sleep for now and then fly over to Melroe as quickly as he could around midnight or 1 or 2 am. That way, he should definitely arrive way before the ’raid’ happened.
