Chapter 1028: Bait

After the Stargazers of the various worlds made their recalibration, they managed to determine a safe path to the Azure Flame World.

Every world sent out a couple of True Immortals after they received confirmation that the path was safe and they followed the Star Origin Guards over to the point in space to prevent the Spirit Luxuriant World from swallowing up the Azure Flame World alone.

Even though they knew they were somewhat late, the True Immortals who arrived discovered that their timing wasn’t too bad after feeling the remnant world origin that scattered into the void.

“Now comes the question… Are we going to chase them down to take a look at what is going on?” True Immortal Hua Yu smiled and looked at the rest. She didn’t seem too interested in obtaining the remains of the Azure Flame World.

However, the sea of stars was vast and they had no idea which direction the experts of the Spirit Luxuriant World left in.

If all of them went out together to look for those fragments aimlessly, it would be a colossal waste of time if they failed to find anything.

If they split up… Their collective strength would weaken considerably!

One had to know that in order to carry out such a hasty operation, the various worlds only sent out a couple of True Immortals. All of them had their own agendas, and they weren’t exactly friendly with each other either.

“Wait.” Zhuge Xiang didn’t bother opening his eyes and replied with a single word.

The Star Origin Guards came for the Heaven Observation Elysium. They weren’t interested in anything else. Since they knew what was left behind was bait, there was no need for them to care about it.

Zhuge Xiang and Liu Jiuzhen didn’t hide their conversation from the others. When True Immortal Liu Yunzi from the Spirit Mammoth World heard their conversation, he muttered, “This isn’t a bad plan. The True Immortals of the Spirit Luxuriant World will definitely need to open more spatial tunnels in order to return to their world. The moment they do, the spatial fluctuations will expose them!”

The True Immortal from the Azure Sea World seemed pretty familiar with True Immortal Liu Yunzi and he couldn’t help but follow up, “Will we be able to make it in time?”

“We might not be able to prevent them from bringing back what they obtained, but we might not be completely out of options as they make their way back…” True Immortal Liu Yunzi smiled while turning to look at Xiong Chunyang of the Spirit Abundance World with a profound gaze.

The Spirit Abundance World knew where the Spirit Luxuriant World was, but they never revealed it to the others.

There was no doubt about it. Even though the Spirit Luxuriant World had already completed their world ascension, the Spirit Abundance World hadn’t given up their quest to devour them. Their intentions were also painfully obvious. They wanted to devour the Spirit Luxuriant World alone! At the very least, they wanted to be the first ones there to grab the biggest share of the pie.

The Star Origin City was said to be a neutral zone in the vast sea of stars, and its location was known to all. They also welcomed the various worlds in connecting a fixed spatial tunnel to them.
