Chapter 1055: Strange Formation

Shang Xia thought that Kou Chongxue returned because he heard that a foreign expert infiltrated the Tongyou Elysium, or because he was called back by Yun Jing.

However, he knew that it was all a misunderstanding after hearing what Kou Chongxue said.

Seeing Shang Xia’s appearance, Kou Chongxue’s heart sank. He couldn’t be bothered about what he discovered and he quickly asked, “Start talking. What happened here?!”

After thinking for a moment, Kou Chongxue continued, “Wait… You were saying that the fourth tier True Immortal from the Essence Hong World infiltrated our Tongyou Elysium, but didn’t expose himself from the rejection from our world. Even his cultivation and combat strength weren’t affected?”

Opening the Star Map, Shang Xia gasped, “No way… did you really find one?!”

Seeing as Shang Xia was studying the markings on the new page that was open, he grunted, “There was indeed a world there, but all that’s left is a pile of ruins and a massive asteroid belt. There isn’t even a single continent capable of hosting life.”

Shang Xia read the contents and continued without raising his head. “Has it been a long time since the world was destroyed?”

“Probably? From my estimations, it should have been more than a thousand years.” Kou Chongxue replied.

“Oh.” Shang Xia grunted once before he pondered out loud, “It should be around the time when the Heaven Observation Sect was eliminated. If the world remained intact, there should be a Heaven Observation Elysium.”

Kou Chongxue nodded instinctively.

“So… You gained nothing from this trip, right?” Shang Xia raised an eyebrow doubtfully.

A crafty smile appeared on Kou Chongxue’s face and he started shaking his head. “On the contrary… This granddaddy went around the region and I actually found something.”
