Inside the Fire Realm Restaurant, in a secluded small building.
“Over the past couple of days, many forces have come to visit Brother Luo He in Huyang City,” Entropy Tianyan said as he sat opposite Luo Feng. Suo Zhi attended to them, respectfully serving food and wine, while the servant Morosa could only wait outside the small building.
Luo Feng sighed, “Many forces have directly visited my cave dwelling. When I went to the Dream Flower Pavilion, there were forces waiting for me there as well. That’s why I hid in this Fire Realm Restaurant. At least this small restaurant is quiet enough!”
“Haha, when you forced the Blood Python Society to bow and compensate, you already became one of the top figures in Huyang City,” Entropy Tianyan laughed. “Many Eternal True Gods envy you. We ordinary Eternal True Gods can’t compare to you in influence.”
The disparity among Eternal True Gods was immense. The strength of the divine body, the differences in weapons, secret treasures, armors, secret techniques, the realms of laws, bloodline talents, and willpower… all these factors could make the gap huge.
“If I’m not mistaken, the City Lord’s Mansion has probably upgraded your rating to Class A,” Entropy Tianyan said.
“Class A?” Luo Feng was curious.
“An Eternal True God that even a Huyang Legion can’t handle is usually rated as Class A. At this level, the City Lord’s Mansion won’t act rashly,” Entropy Tianyan explained.
Luo Feng thought aloud, “A Huyang Legion is led by a top-tier Eternal True God, comprising over ten thousand Void True Gods and over ten million elite True Gods, all controlling the legion’s mechanical secret treasure. The combined power can already possess some Chaos Realm might.”
“With Brother Luo He’s strength, even if you can’t directly resist them, you can still avoid their strengths and make a Huyang Legion helpless,” Entropy Tianyan smiled. “You captured Vice President Lai Mo’s True God’s Heart with a single hand, without using any secret treasure. Everyone can see that if you go all out, you can still contend with a Huyang Legion using various secret techniques, even if there is a gap.”Luo Feng smiled but said nothing more.
A Huyang Legion was strong on the surface, but all the Eternal True Gods, Void True Gods, and countless True Gods combined couldn’t compare to him in terms of the amount and purity of divine power. The only advantage the legion had was their mechanical secret treasure, which was stronger than his “Wu Wing.”
In a direct confrontation, it wouldn’t be him who couldn’t sustain the consumption, but rather the Huyang Legion.
“Looking at your smile, you don’t care much about a Huyang Legion,” Entropy Tianyan raised his glass. “We should drink to that.”
“Cheers,” Luo Feng smiled and drank.
“But Brother Luo He, don’t underestimate the City Lord’s Mansion because of this. The ten Huyang Legions and Huyang Guards are just the surface deterrent forces,” Entropy Tianyan said. “This large city, built and refined over endless ages, is one of their real dependencies. If pushed to the brink, Chaos Overlords and even Divine Kings might emerge.”
“I’m not foolish enough to provoke the City Lord’s Mansion,” Luo Feng acknowledged.
“Of course, the entire Jiugang Chaos State is the fief of the ‘Jiugang Marquis.’ What kind of status does Jiugang Marquis have? He wouldn’t come to Huyang City unless something enormous happened,” Entropy Tianyan said. “So, as long as you don’t challenge the ruling position of the City Lord’s Mansion, you don’t have to worry about provoking Chaos Overlords. But remember one thing…”
Entropy Tianyan’s expression became serious.
“Please speak, Brother Entropy,” Luo Feng said.
“Don’t get involved in the conflict between Shiguo and Yuguo,” Entropy Tianyan whispered. “That is the most terrifying vortex in Huyang City. Once you’re caught in it, no matter how strong you are, you might be crushed to pieces.”
“The conflict between Shiguo and Yuguo?” Luo Feng was curious.
“Shiguo has been expanding and occupying the surrounding areas since its establishment. Now that it borders Yuguo, conflicts are inevitable,” Entropy Tianyan explained. “Huyang City, as a large border city, has never ceased its secret conflicts. For instance, the Zanyun Merchant Association is a business of Shiguo.”
Luo Feng nodded, “The president of the Zanyun Merchant Association visited my cave dwelling yesterday, but I didn’t pay him much attention.”
It was because the other party came from Shiguo that Luo Feng didn’t want to establish deep connections.
“You’re right to ignore them,” Entropy Tianyan said. “As a border city, normal trade is something Yuguo has no reason to prohibit. The Zanyun Merchant Association appears well-behaved, but Shiguo has secretly dispatched a batch of Eternal True Gods into the city long ago.”
“As long as Shiguo wishes, they can dispatch even stronger forces at any time,” Entropy Tianyan said. “This is the biggest scourge of Huyang City.”
“If one day the two divine kingdoms go to war, it would be normal for this place to be reduced to ashes.”
Entropy Tianyan sighed, raising his glass.
Having spent most of his life in Huyang City, he naturally didn’t want to see it reduced to ruins.
“We can’t do anything about the conflict between the two divine kingdoms. Let’s just go with the flow,” Luo Feng drank with him. He still liked this friend, Entropy Tianyan, who was straightforward and didn’t hide anything when Luo Feng asked about refining techniques.
As one of the top refining masters in Huyang City, Entropy Tianyan was much stronger in refining techniques than Luo Feng. When Luo Feng was studying the “Chaos Force Diagram” without guidance from his master, he naturally encountered some confusion. Entropy Tianyan’s few words pointed out the key issues.
If Luo Feng studied on his own, he could also comprehend them due to his solid understanding of laws, but it would take more time and he would make some detours.
Luo Feng deeply appreciated Entropy Tianyan’s guidance.
As they ate, drank, and chatted, Luo Feng gained a deeper understanding of the various forces in Huyang City from Entropy Tianyan, along with some intelligence.
“To be honest, this restaurant has a unique charm,” Entropy Tianyan praised as he stood to leave.
“I like it too. Their grilled meat is strong enough for my taste,” Luo Feng said. His Perfect Divine Body was too powerful, and ordinary food was too bland for him.
As they spoke, they walked out of the small building. Outside, Morosa immediately hid the wine jar.
At this moment, Luo Feng and Entropy Tianyan saw a woman with a furry tail and her bodyguard approaching.
“This is Diao Rongqi from the Diao Rong family, Diao Rong Yan’s daughter,” Entropy Tianyan introduced.
“Greetings, Uncle Entropy,” Diao Rongqi smiled and saluted.
“Are you here to visit Brother Luo He?” Entropy Tianyan laughed. “How did you find this place?”
Diao Rongqi quickly explained, “I heard about Lord Luo He’s presence at the Dream Flower Pavilion, and I wanted to visit. Later, I learned from my guard that Lord Luo He might come to the Fire Realm Restaurant.”
Luo Feng was intrigued, watching the scene. The guard beside the woman was Suo Yun, a young True God whom he had saved from a tribal team.
“Lord,” Suo Yun respectfully explained, “Suo Zhi and I live together, and during a conversation, I accidentally learned that you had been to the Fire Realm Restaurant.”
“It’s quite a coincidence,” Luo Feng looked at the woman with the furry tail, Diao Rongqi. “What do you want from me?”
“To become your disciple!” Diao Rongqi’s eyes were bright. “I want to become your disciple.”
“Your father is an Eternal True God. Why do you want to be my disciple?” Luo Feng looked at her.
“My father specializes in alchemy, not in combat,” Diao Rongqi respectfully bowed. “I am willing to offer five thousand Cosmos Sand in hopes of becoming your disciple.”
Luo Feng shook his head and looked at Entropy Tianyan. “Brother Entropy, let’s go.”
Entropy Tianyan didn’t persuade him, knowing that accepting a disciple was a serious matter. He left with Luo Feng.
“Lord,” Diao Rongqi urgently called out, “please give me a chance, a chance for a test.”
“Become my master’s disciple? Wishful thinking!” Morosa glanced at Diao Rongqi, then followed Luo Feng away.
Diao Rongqi stood in place for a moment, then turned to her guard. “Suo Yun, stay at the Fire Realm Restaurant. If you see Lord Luo He, inform me immediately.”
“Yes,” guard Suo Yun respectfully responded, watching his lady leave.
“Suo Yun,” Suo Zhi walked over, “how could you casually reveal Lord’s whereabouts?”
Guard Suo Yun looked at his brother and said, “My lady wanted to visit Lord with no ill intentions. Why couldn’t I tell her?”
“We run a restaurant, and we must protect our guests’ secrets,” Suo Zhi said. “I told you privately because you’re my brother. How could you tell your lady without telling me?”
Suo Yun sneered, “Lord didn’t blame me, but you, my brother, are blaming me.”
“Lord is good-tempered and didn’t blame you, but if you encounter someone with a bad temper, you’re finished!” Su
o Zhi urgently said. “In Huyang City, especially when it involves Eternal True Gods, you can’t be too careful!”
“Being overly cautious, when will we ever break through?” Suo Yun coldly replied. “When an opportunity arises, you must seize it! With this information, I’ve already been granted a secret technique!”
Suo Zhi was stunned.
They had come from the tribe to Huyang City, and after discovering their bloodline, they sought to purchase suitable secret techniques. But good secret techniques suitable for them were too expensive.
“Suo Yun has already obtained a secret technique?” Suo Zhi felt complicated.
He was genuinely happy for his brother but also felt the gap between them. He was still an apprentice, painstakingly saving chaos crystals to buy a secret technique. He anticipated it would take a long time.
“The clan leader said to be cautious in Huyang City. No rush, I have a long life ahead. I can afford to wait,” Suo Zhi suppressed his emotions.
…
At the Blood Python Society headquarters.
“In the past couple of days, Luo He has become the most famous figure in Huyang City,” Vice President Mu Lin shook his head. “Mention Luo He, and people mention our Blood Python Society.”
“Can you shut up?” Vice President Lai Mo was annoyed.
“I don’t care about these comments,” President Mu Yang frowned. “I care about the two thousand Cosmos Sand compensation. I am so poor now that every Cosmos Sand is precious to me.”
Vice Presidents Mu Lin and Lai Mo exchanged glances.
“We don’t have any left,” Vice President Mu Lin quickly said.
“President, I lent you all I could. This time, you helped me with eighteen thousand Cosmos Sand, so you still owe me five thousand Cosmos Sand,” Vice President Lai Mo said.
The two vice presidents were puzzled. Despite having most of the Blood Python Society’s resources, President Mu Yang was always poor, borrowing from them to the point of exhaustion.
