"Another way of transport? What can we possibly use? I have a few good steeds, but they are all not fast enough." Utgard said.
"We have your brother. He will surely come running back to you, and Odin will have nothing to say about it. Odin won't notice that he is gone anyways. He doesn't travel much." Lucas said.
"You want to take Sleipnir? That is actually not a bad idea. But will you be able to convince your half brother to let you ride him? And that too, you have to go so far, and you have to run fast. After Ouroboros is released, many many gods will convene there to see what happened. They will not take your appearance kindly. And these gods won't just be from Asgard. Mount Olympus has a few stationed there, and so does Egypt." Utgard Loki warned.
"Once Ouroboros is free, we can use him to run. He is fast, and actually better transport material than Sleipnir himself when it comes to long distance travel. It is just that no one is powerful enough to subdue him to take him as a mount." Fenrir casually said.
"The pet cat is still in the hall. If you want to, then you can just talk to him there." Utgard said.
"Yeah, sure. Just teleport us there, and I will iron out the details of my plan." Fenrir said.
"I gave Loki quite the amount to bring you in. You better justify my spending. I am also putting my head out for this. If I cannot take Asgard out of the equation within a month, then there will be gods who will demand my place. I took years to earn my spot as the king of giants in Jotunheirm. I will not concede it easily. Fenrir, you and I may not have had the best history, but we sure as hell know that both of us are the most capable people here. No one else has the power and intelligence to take down Asgard. This is the first time that we have come so close. We cannot falter now." Utgard said in a low tone.
"Ever since that bastard Odin trapped me in that island in those miserable chains, I have been longing for his head. No matter what happens, I will do my best to take it." Fenrir snarled.
"And I shall be the one to help you get it. To victory." Utgard nodded and said.
"To victory. Now take us to the hall. And leave us there alone. I prefer silence and privacy when I talk to my brother after so long." Fenrir said.
Utgard snapped his fingers, and Lucas felt a familiar pulling force that took him to this room. This time, instead of pulling him, it was pushing him out. Within moments, he was back in the great hall, as huge as a football field.
This time, however, it was completely empty. There was not a single person in sight. Not even Loki. The only thing that Lucas could hear was the sound of the wind rushing by.
"Meow!" Lucas suddenly heard.
"How the hell did I not hear the cat's footsteps?" Lucas was taken aback.
"You are dealing with a god here. Do you really think that even with the meager power that you absorb from me every day, you can actually match one of the biggest and most powerful gods in the world? Quit dreaming." Fenrir scoffed.
"Fine. You have Ouroboros here. What did you want to talk to him about?" Lucas asked. He sat down in front of the huge cat. With him sitting down now, he looked pitifully small compared to the pet. It was like the roles were reversed, and Lucas was the pet of the cat.
The cat meowed once again, and it sat in front of Lucas. It opened its mouth, and this time, instead of cat sounds, a proper voice came out.
"Fenrir. What are you doing here? I thought that all those years in the mortal world dulled you. I expected you to sit out this war, and pounce on us later." the cat said with a deep voice, quite similar to Fenrir's.
"That was the plan at first, but this boy right here changed my thinking. I thought about it. Fighting will give me a good chance at freedom later. But of course, my side has to win." Fenrir smiled.
"Do you not have confidence in your own brother? On your own father?" the cat scoffed. It looked disdainfully upon Lucas.
"Why do you think I would trust you guys for anything at all? You don't exactly have the best track record. One of you is the most distrusted god of all time, known for lying all the time. The other is chained and has been chained for most of his life. He does not even know what it is like to live freely. I don't have any trust in you guys, because you guys have never actually won before." Fenrir said.
"This time is different. The mere scale of the fight is going to be on another level. We have many gods helping us. Odin and his paltry city will be vanquished in no time." Ouroboros said.
"All of that is only going to happen if you break free," Fenrir said.
"That is why you are here, aren't you? You broke free from the island and you ventured into the mortal realm. You even stayed there undetected from the gods for a full century before the gods found you within this human here. You know how to break through your chains." Ouroboros said with excitement.
"I may know how to break through your chains, but getting to you, and running away are the most important parts of the plan that I am working on right now. Unlike for me, where they turned lax thinking that the chains were unbreakable, for you, you have gods from all over the world guarding you. Before I even break the bonds, someone could interfere." Fenrir said.
"So what do I need to do?" Ouroboros asked.
"I am going to need you to eat a lot, and hold everything inside for two weeks," Fenrir said.
Pfft!
"What's so funny about that?" Ouroboros asked.
"This is why you have to come out and live a little. You shouldn't poop or fart for the next two weeks? Listening to someone say that, how the hell does one not burst into laughter? The plan to get rid of that many gods and guards is to take a big dump?" Lucas could not stop laughing.
"Yes. That is my plan. And it is a good one as well. If Ouroboros takes a shit, all of the gods will run from there like flies. For them, they care about themselves more than the world they say they protect. After that is done, I can work on breaking the chains. Ouroboros will fly us out of there." Fenrir said.
"I am flying you out of there? That is interesting. But having a human on my back is a but disgracing for me." Ouroboros said.
"I am risking what I have built for centuries on breaking you out, and you say that having some human on you is disgraceful? I am going to strangle you right now." Fenrir raised his voice.
"Alright, alright. I will do that. I will let him get onto me on that one day. I will escape here. Then what? The gods will be on the lookout for me, and they will definitely run here. This will be the first place that they will come to. I do not want to go back there." Ouroboros said.
"If the gods come here, we have enough fire power to turn them back. And with the addition of you, forget forcing them back. We will be able to take a few lives as well." Fenrir chuckled.
"Who the hell is here, for you to be that confident?" Ouroboros asked.
"Utgard and his fortress are strong. Our father is not that weak, and the gods of the rebellion are sure to lend a few forces here." Fenrir said.
"Are you sure that will be enough?" Ouroboros asked.
"The giants of Niflheim almost succeeded in bringing down Asgard. If Utgard's brother wasn't so stupid and horny enough to fall into the trap of building that wall for Asgard, then the city would have collapsed by now. We have the giants of Jortunheimr here. Niflheim will take out a few gods as well once they see that gods are flanking them. This war is as good as done once you are out. So let us focus on that." Fenrir said.
"For this one, are you sure that you want to stay in that form? Why don't you come out of him for this one? I don't trust a mortal for something so important." Ouroboros asked.
