"That doesn't seem fair. It feels like cheating to me.", Eva shook her head.
"Just say that you don't want to give your money to me.", Lucas shook his head.
"Fine then. I don't want to give my money to you. I don't like you at all.", Eva said.
"Well then. What next? The minotaur clearly is very confused, and very enraged. Where do you think that it will go next?", Lucas said, smiling.
"You bastard! It is just a hundred dollars. Is it worth it?", Eva gnashed her teeth.
"Normally, hundred dollars? Nope. But getting that benjamin from you means so much more.", Lucas licked his lips.
"You psycho.", Eva said, but from seemingly nowhere, she procured a hundred dollar note. "Here"
"Thank You.", Lucas said. Eva felt a cold breeze hit her neck.
In front of them, the minotaur, who was just getting up, suddenly fell on the ground again. Right on top of him, Lucas was standing on his neck.
"You are getting quite unruly, aren't you?", he laughed. He then looked at Praneeth. "How much longer? This is getting kind of routine. Me jumping, this idiot swinging his ax, and then falling back. How about you speed things up so that we can actually hope to finish this charade a little faster."
"Give me two more minutes.", Praneeth said. He was sitting alone with his eyes closed. His legs were crossed, and he was on the ground. Around him, there were many circles with intricate runes and designs that were glowing in all the mist that surrounded them. It looked like he was casting a spell, not uncasting it.
But step by step, the circles around him were slowly disappearing, and they seemed to be fading away. His hands trembled with every circle that did disappear completely.
Crash!
The minotaur was on the ground once more. He roared with anger and indignation. He got up once more and snorted twice. The ring that was on his nostrils was shaking, and the minotaur took his ax and held it with his left hand for the first time this fight.
Lucas, who was just casually walking around, suddenly stopped.
"Looks like this is finally going to get serious.", he said out loud. "Michael. Care to help me now at least?", he called out.
"You can do this. It's nothing for you right? A cakewalk.", Michael said hauntingly.
"Ungrateful bastard.", Lucas cursed.
The minotaur heaved. His right hoove pawed on the ground. Pieces of concrete rubble was flung back, and the minotaur's eyes were red with rage.
"Looks like he finally had it.", Michael shouted.
The minotaur did not even turn towards Michael. Its eyes were fixated on Lucas. It snorted once more, and then, it moved.
ραпdα nᴏνɐ| сom It moved fast. A bull can run thirty five miles per hour. The minotaur was easily touching seventy. In an instant, he was standing in front of Lucas, and he did not have any intention of stopping. He bent down as he ran, and his horns started coming dangerously close to Lucas' chest. Lucas saw this, and he moved. He did not jump forward like he was doing for the last ten minutes. But rather, he took his hands, and reached forward to hold the horns of the bull.
Lucas easily gripped the horns, but that was the easy part. The minotaur was not going slow. Lucas was dragging his feet on the ground to stop the minotaur. A loud and screeching voice prevailed throughout the floor.
Beneath Lucas' feet, his shoes were not having a good time. Forget being worn out. They were almost catching fire. That was not Lucas' biggest problem either. Although he was succeeding in slowing down the minotaur, he also gave way to another problem.
The minotaur's left hand, with the ax, was not free. He raised it and slammed it down. Seeing this, Lucas let go of his right hand, and leaned to the left. He evaded the ax, but also his balance.
The minotaur was now moving unchallenged, with a man dangling on his right horn. Lucas gripped the horn tight, and slowly came forward. He raised his hand, and hit the minotaur right in the temple.
Mooooooooo!
The minotaur roared in pain. He fell down and crashed forward, rolling forwards. Lucas let go of the horn, and flew forward as well, but he landed feet first, and quickly regained his footing. He looked around.
Mist was all around him, and the only one that he could see was the minotaur. He could hear his team mates, but he couldn't see them. He quickly moved to get back to where they were.
Within mere moments, he was in front of the council members. Praneeth had only one magic circle in front of him.
"So you are finally finishing? You couldn't have gotten here a little sooner?", Lucas scoffed.
"Patience. If I am not wrong, it is not like you did not have any fun. You did. That also matters, does it not?", Praneeth said calmly.
"Just finish what you are doing.", Lucas waved his hand and looked at the other council members. He walked past Angela and Eva, and stopped in front of Mu Chen.
"What do you have for a bull? A good enough leash?", he asked.
"Nope. The leash is for you. For a bull, I don't think I prepared anything.", Mu Chen shook his head.
"Damn it. This is getting so irritating. He just won't stay down.", Lucas slammed his right foot on the floor with frustration. The concrete cracked in response. He looked forward, and from the mist, the outline of the minotaur came out. He snorted, and his eyes were red with veins all through them.
"Oh, and look. You brought friends.", Lucas said.
"Yeah, but so did you.", Raphael's voice came from behind all of the council members.
