In the end, Aion managed to level up once in that training session… it wasn't half bad, but it would be even better if there was a labyrinth around.

Later that day, Aion did the same at night. Seris buffed his speed with her magic, and then he went to the dungeon in his territory. He wiped out all the monsters, and they didn't even have time to react.

"This can be a powerful weapon against the enemies, but it is annoying that I get tired and hungry so fast…" Aion thought and then sighed.

From the perspective of the others, Aion had lunch three times that day, but he felt like he just had two lunches and one dinner. There was another problem, mana. Even with Seris help, he could only harness so much mana by using Meditation. He needed other tricks to help with that.

Still, before Aion could come up with that, he managed to level up the Warrior class two days later, and the result wasn't half bad. He quickly began to feed the class to refine the weapon, and then he changed to the Tamer class to make it level up.

Congratulations! The class Warrior has reached level one hundred, and you are able to obtain a new class. Do you wish to sacrifice the materials, experience, and energy obtained to unlock the new class? Y/N

Select a new class: Viking, Spartan, or Soldier.

"Wait, what?" Aion furrowed his eyebrows.

Viking and Spartan… these were terms that would make sense on Earth, so why did those two classes appear there? Aion couldn't understand… after thinking for a while, he didn't find any plausible explanation, so he just thought of what the best options would be right now.

Counterattack: it gives you the chance to counterattack when blocking an attack. The difference in speed and strength affects the success rate of the skill. For each level of the skill, the counter damage will cause ten percent more damage at the cost of twenty points of stamina.

Discipline: passively Increases your endurance and resistance by two points per level.

That wasn't half bad, but it only made Aion more confused since it made sense that he would have those skills considering the history of the warriors from Spartan.

"Malon supposedly left the planet to stop those that could use time magic… did he get to Earth at some point and find the Spartans?" Aion furrowed his eyebrows. "If he was the one who found me, he was a bit too early to find me since I was born more than two thousand years later… I guess."

After forgetting about it, Aion asked Fenhair to go look for areas with monsters that he could kill where no one would be able to find him. He explained that his powers would get stronger if he did that, and Fenhair just nodded.

"I thought that he would hesitate or question me, but… I guess I am not the first who can get stronger like this," Aion muttered.

In any case, Aion wondered if it was time to look for another guardian to help their group. Although Aion asked that the Tamer class could level up a lot faster just by Aion having Fenhair and Celion under his camp, just by existing, they granted him to experience. Having the other two would duplicate that speed, after all.

All of a sudden, Aion felt a large concentration of mana coming from the garden, and he couldn't help but quickly open the window and check what was going on… only to find his mother, Seris, and Arlana staring at a block of earth that was floating in front of them. It looked like they finally succeeded in one of their experiments.

"I guess the first experiment gave them a sense of urgency…" Aion thought. "Nothing like a deadline to make people use their brains at full capacity."

They soon ended the experiments and kept working since a single success wouldn't be enough for them. They still had a long way ahead of themselves, after all.

Over the course of the next few days, Seris and Arlana managed to make a lot of progress in their experiments. It was a bit unstable, but they were able to make an entire house float when they tried the next step. Although the house that Aion created using earth magic eventually fell and broke into pieces since they were unable to control it, the landing and the mana consumption were too high.

They learned from that as well and soon took the next step. However, soon they were all forced to take a break when once again, Aion suddenly noticed the atmosphere freezing.

"Not again…" Aion thought and then sighed.

Much to his surprise, time soon began to move as usual, and Aion confirmed that the one who opened the mirror had crossed it.

"Did you guys feel that?" Aion asked.

"Yes… it wasn't close, but a portal with time magic was opened," Fenhair replied.

"It probably wasn't in this nation… while I usually would advise you to ignore until the problem comes to you, I feel that it would be unwise to wait," Celion replied, and Aion noticed that he didn't sound sleepy and his guard was up for some reason.

Aion nodded, and then he asked Fenhair to do the same again, to guard his territory while he acted as the spear and attacked the enemy. Celion probably wanted to come, but he wasn't that fast, and defensive battles probably were his specialty…

"I am going to deal with something. I will be back soon…" Aion informed the others and then left without waiting for a response.
