Grandpa Terros left Windless Mountain at 5:00. He landed at the living room of Graven's manor a few moments later.
Laura and Rebecca, together with Rosa and Sofia, can be seen descending the staircase during Terros's arrival.
"Grandpa! Did you bring good news about my husband?" Laura asked excitedly, rushing to his side.
"Slow down, Laura," Terros said. He can't tell Laura what happened recently to her husband. If she knows - it will break her heart the more. He doesn't want the pregnant woman to suffer another bout of depression due to Graven's unstable condition. He will not inform Laura about Luke and the cursed King. They are unpleasant news that will only worsen her stress.
They settled on the couch comfortably.
"Laura, I have no good news for you. Graven's condition is still the same. The deity is doing her best to nourish Graven's body and keeping it healthy to prevent rotting, but the problem is still the same. We can't wake him up. We have a theory, that his soul is trapped somewhere in his subconcious and we need to do something to bring his soul back to his body. That's the only way to awaken him..." Terros explained.
Laura sighed deeply, sadness clouding her face. "Then we should invite other physician or healer to take a look at Graven's condition!" she suggested.
"Yeah, exactly my point... that's what I'm here for," Terros said. He glanced at Rebecca, sitting beside Laura.
"Grandpa... It's about time we will consult my Grandma Menedelia. Maybe she can help us solve Graven's perplexing condition," Rebecca said.
"Yeah, exactly, that's what I'm here for. I'm willing to bring your Grandma to the Windless Mountain, so that she can take a look at Graven's condition. Um... when can you bring her to me?"
"When do you want her to come, Grandpa?" Rebecca asked.
"As soon as possible! The sooner the better!" Terros replied.
"Alright, I'm going to her fortress right now. Will you go with me, Grandpa?" Rebecca said.
"Yeah, sure! If we can bring your Grandma to Graven's side tonight then that would be fantastic!" Terros said excitedly.
Rebecca cleared her throat. "Grandpa, I have to remind you that there's no guarantee that Grandma Menedelia can cure Graven's condition, she can only try..." she said.
"No problem. If Menedelia failed in waking up Graven then I will try all the healers services all over the land until I can find the one who can successfully help Graven with his condition," Terros replied.
"Good. Let's go now, so that we can return early before the evening comes," Rebecca said and looked at Laura.
"Take care..." Laura said. "I hope Grandma Menedelia will come with you to see my husband," she said, feeling hopeful.
"I'm sure she will. Grandma can't say no to me," Rebecca said confidently. She looked at Terros. "Lets go now, Grandpa!" she said and hold Terros arm, teleporting them to the fortress in the forest.
A few seconds later, Rebecca and Terros landed in Menedelia's fortress.
"This is my Grandma's home in the forest," Rebecca said.
Terros roamed his eyes around the area. "Nice flowers!" he commented casually at the blooming daffodil flowers.
"I'll go inside the house to look for Grandma," Rebecca said.
"Okay, I'll wait here," Terros said and walked towards the wooden bench situated under the shade of the tree.
Rebecca proceed to the house and opened the door, she stepped inside. "Hello! Anybody home? Grandma, where are you! Grandma, are you home?" she shouted.
No one responded to her call...
She checked the two rooms and the kitchen as well the area at the back of the house.
Nothing!
Even Grandma Sitas is not in the house.
Where could Grandma be at this time?
Hmm, the only places she knows that Grandma would frequent are in the capital, in the town, or at her sister's place which is Corbin's manor.
She left the house, closed the door, and went to Terros's side. "Grandpa, she's not here right now," she said.
"Oh, where do you think she has gone to?" Terros asked.
"Maybe she visited her sister, Ebony. Let's go there now, but we must shift into our invisible form because there are other people there occupying the place with her, we don't want to startle them," Rebecca explained.
"Alright, no problem with me," Terros agreed.
They shifted into their invisible form.
Rebecca holds Terro's hands and initiated the teleportation process in her mind.
A few seconds later.
They landed in the living room of Corbin's manor.
That time, Ebony, Menedelia, together with Grandma Sitas was relaxing on the couch.
Rebecca shifted into her visible form, Terros did the same.
Menedelia smiled brightly. "Rebecca! Why are you here, child?"
Ebony's eyes widened in surprise after seeing Rebecca. "Wow, so you return at last. Are you here to be reunited with your husband?" she asked right away.
Rebecca sighed. "No, I'm sorry, I didn't come for that matter. I come here for another purpose... I will leave soon," she replied. "Everyone, let me introduce to you my companion... this is Grandpa Terros a good friend of mine and Graven," she said. "Grandpa, this is my Grandma Menedelia, her sister Ebony and their Grandma Sitas," she ended her introduction.
"Hello, ladies! Nice meeting you all!" Terros said, his brows knitted together. "Your Grandma Menedelia is too young to be a grandma!" he commented.
Rebecca smiled. "Yeah, I know. It's a long story, but I'm just used to calling her Grandma," she replied. She went to Grandma Sitas's side and gave her a quick hug. "How are you, Grandma? Long time no see..." she said, looking into her eyes.
Sitas looked at the face of the pregnant woman and smiled, she put her hand on her baby bump. "R-Rebecca... baby....baby..." she said.
Rebecca smiled. "Yeah, baby and me. Get well soon..." she said and left Sita's side.
She went to Menedelia's side. "Grandma, can I talk to your for a few minutes. I'm here for something important, I need your help!" she said.
"Sure! Let's go upstairs and talk in the balcony," Menedelia suggested. She looked at her sister. "Can we go upstairs to the balcony, sis?" she said, asking permission.
Ebony sighed and nodded her head. "Go ahead..."
Rebecca, Terros, and Menedelia climbed the stairs, going to the second floor.
Ebony was currently dealing with an internal debate raging in her mind. Should she teleport to Corbin's family home and inform him that his wife is here or do nothing-?
What is the right thing to do?
It's clear that Rebecca is not here to see her husband, she's here for another reason.
Suddenly, Anastasia burst into the living room holding a dustpan in her right hand. "Lord Corbin's carriage is coming!" she blurted.
Ebony was startled. "Okay, wait for them in the gate. Remember, don't say anything that we have visitors today. Keep your mouth shut!" she warned her.
"Okay," Anastasia replied with a nod of her head and left, going to the gate.
Ebony watched her Grandma sitting on the couch. Corbin allowed Grandma Sitas to live with her in the manor. She was always grateful for his generosity.
Dang! She needs to warn the people upstairs not to come down because the owner of the house has just arrived!
She rushed to the staircase and began climbing... what the heck she's doing? She should teleport there now!
She was about to do that when Corbin entered the door and saw Ebony climbing the stairs. "Where are you going in such a hurry?" he asked.
Ebony halted on her steps, she turned around and looked at her master. "My Lord, nice to see you again!" she said and come down, going back to the living room.
Suddenly, Grandma Sitas began singing... "Rebecca's baby... baby... Rebecca... baby..."
Corbin's eyes widened, he looked at the old woman and back at Ebony.
Ebony's face turned paper-white. Damn!
Corbin saw the expression on Ebony's face. "Is R-Rebecca here!? D-did she visit you today?" he asked her point-blank.
Ebony shook her head vigorously and said, "No, my Lord!"
Corbin began to doubt Ebony's answer when the old woman keep singing about Rebecca and the baby. He went to Grandma Sitas's side and talked to her. "Grandma, did you see the pregnant Rebecca?" he asked.
Grandma Sitas nods her head.
Corbin's heart jumped with joy and excitement. "Were did Rebecca go, Grandma?"
Grandma Sitas pointed in the direction of the staircase.
'Shiit!' Ebony said to herself. She's busted!
Corbin glared at Ebony. "Lady, you need some explaining to do! Where is my wife? Hurry up, tell me!" he asked.
"Upstairs in the balcony with her friends," Ebony said. "They're good people, don't harm them! My sister is also there!" she said, panicking.
"As long they won't stand on my way, I wont hurt them!" Corbin said and rushed to the stairs. He reached the top in just a few seconds and rushed to the balcony. The only thing he can think of right now is seeing his beloved wife again!
Anastasia rushed to the living room.
pαndα`noνɐ1~сoМ "Watch over, Grandma!" Ebony said and climbed the stairs in a hurry.
On the balcony.
The trio was discussing Graven's condition when Corbin barged into the balcony.
Rebecca's eyes widened in surprise and shock. "H-husband!" she stammered, her heart was beating rapidly in her chest.
"Wife!" Corbin said and rushed to Rebecca's side, hugging her tightly. "Where have you been? I miss you so much! I've been looking for you everywhere! I can't find you! I didn't expect to find you here!" he said happily.
Terros froze. What the hell!?
Rebecca's husband is the son of that vampire woman, their enemy!?
He quickly shifted into his invisible form and teleported back to Graven's manor at the speed of light.
Menedelia did the same and teleported back to her fortress.
When Ebony reached the balcony, she only saw the strange couple in a tight embrace. Her sister and the old man were gone. Huge relief washed over her. She left the balcony and returned downstairs to give the couple some privacy.
Back in the balcony.
The couple let go of each other after a few minutes of tight embrace.
Corbin looked into his wife's eyes. "You can never leave me again!" he declared and grabbed her hand, not wanting to let her go even for a few seconds.
Rebecca released a deep sigh. "Husband, can I go home first? I mean, I'll return here and talk about us after I'm done with my important purpose in coming here," she said.
Sadness clouded Corbin's eyes. "I feel heartbroken that you didn't come here for me. You come here for something else! Tell me, where is your home?" he asked sorrowfully. "Are you planning to escape again?" he asked, looking deeply into her eyes.
Rebecca released a deep sigh.. Seeing the intense pain and longing in Corbin's eye, her heart starts bleeding inside.
