Cole stood in front of the dungeons's entrance, obviously he was aiming to be careful. The elves were a challenge, not a tough one, but a challenge none the less. And in all of his adventures many have fallen due to underestimating their enemy, Cole had no plans in repeating the foolishness of the people who came before him, and the rest of the aspirants agreed with him.
They all huddle in front of the dungeon's entrance, not quite ready to move through it. Cole had sheathed Black Malakai and in his hands was Azazel. He wasn't really sure if at all this new gun of his was the fallen angel, but regardless this weapon was a thing of beauty, and dangerous, but ultimately it would do something good for Cole...it would give him range.
"I'll be the vanguard so all of you can just shut the fuck up!" Eze snapped, ending an argument that has been going on for the last 10 minutes among the aspirants, all of them not willing to be he first to go through. Eze turned to Cole and said. "Boss can you cover me?" Cole' responded by pouring energy into the sniper version of his gun, cocking back its bolt as cold fog and hot steam escaped from it's sides.
Eze grinned in return and stepped through the dungeon, Cole followed immediately, their surroundings changing from a field with an overly giant tree to a massive wooden bridge that stretched forwards across forwards into multiple platforms, holding small islands of trees, and a shit ton of elves.
Below them was an ocean of trees, it was as if they were above an endless forest. The trees below might seem normal, but Cole could see and feel things moving under the canopy, but more than that was the fact that past a certain stage he could not sense the forest, it was almost as if it just ended in a void. He realized at that point that fallen off any of these wooden bridges down into the forest would be the end of everyone here….including himself.

They all shared a look as proof that each and every single one of them had seen that notifications. What it was all about wasn't something that anyone of them knew, but it was a red flag. Beyond just dealing with the elves it's now obvious something else was going on. But even if that was the case, there was no other way to go but forwards.
Eze stared the fight, his spell circles blazing into existence as the elves who were all now conveniently occupying the higher ground all opened fire on them. Cole knew Eze need a few more seconds to release his spell, and seeing how the Elves were able to react and fire off a salvo of arrows, it was obvious that they had been waiting for them.
[Gravity] was used, creating a barrier above the aspirants as all the arrows sent in their direction swerved to the side and into the forest below. [Gravity] deflected the arrows and changed their trajectories, though given the accuracy of the arrows, most of them focused on a single point, quite a few of them were able to get through with one of them going past Cole to take out one of the other aspirants, the arrow sinking deep into his eyes as his body crashed to the ground.
"Shit!"
Cole cursed as Eze released his spell, filling the sky with thousands of bullet size suns. Then the tiny suns began to spin, creating gravity of their own as Eze sent them flying towards the elves with extreme prejudice. Tower shields rose up around the islands as the elves hunkered down ans defended themselves from the attack. But while those shields were extremely good, much like Cole's [Gravity] barrier…..Eze was able to break through.
There were close to 30 or so islands within the dungeon and the wooden bridge, stretched and twisted, going upwards from island to island. There were not all occupied by elves, but there was enough of them above them to make things a little bit difficult. They would have to climb the bridges and islands one after the other to clear the dungeon.
Cole watched as dozen of elves got hit by the miniature suns, after that it was a horrific scene as they were all burnt fro the inside out. Never the less this was able to but the rest of them time as they all attacked, Cole rushed forwards, Eze not too far behind him as pirouetted dodging an arrow from above as he turned his rifle in the direction of the arrow and fired his eyes barely looking through the scope.
"Did you just quick scope?" Eze asked behind him as the headless body of the elf Cole had just shot at fell from the island down into the forest below. He had not even hit the top of the trees when it all began to twist and swirl, the green leaves shifting to expose themselves as snakes...hundreds and millions of them, all attached to the trees below, with their body acting as a camouflage.
"I didn't even think it was possible." Cole answered Eze just as equally surprised that he could pull off the famous gaming move in reality. Though it was heavily reliant on luck so he was not sure he would be able to replicate it, but never the less it was just enough to get Cole into the mood for another epic battle.
He puled back the bolt on the sniper rifle and took a knee, there were elves ahead with swords and bows swords pointed towards them and at the ready. They would die before the let Cole and the rest of the aspirants find their way to the next island. But that was just as good…..they were all going to die anyways, this way it would happen quicker. Cole chuckled and used a skill from the gun for the first time ever since it changed into its new form. Time to see what [Azazel] can really do.
