"Even if you destroy the Island, I won't agree to the request!" Saying this Hancock, turned around and left. There's nothing she can do as she isn't Blaize's opponent.

Blaize looked at her retreating back with a smile. Her unyielding character didn't surprise him but it seems like his method had an adverse effect.

Hancock's sisters Marigold and Sandersonia glanced at the miniature Sun hovering above their island with a helpless expression.

If nothing's done, the heat would burn the island to ashes but her sister seems to be hellbent on rejecting this man. At that moment, Elder Nyon appeared next to them surprising both.

"Elder Nyon..." .

She looked at Blaize and spoke, "Marine, give us some time. I will try and convince her to accept the treaty!"

"Don't worry, I didn't come here destroy the Island. That miniature sun is just a small trick I used to draw your Empress's attention." Saying this, Blaize snapped his finger, and the miniature sun soared to the clouds and exploded into beautiful fireworks.

Elder Nyon's impression of Blaize once again intensified. She is right as this marine is completely different from others. Only someone with this kind of temperament is qualified to control the Haki of the Kings.

She knew with such a strong Haoshoku haki, he won't side with the World Government. There has to be a reason why he's in the Marines.

With his assurance, Elder Nyon left with Marigold and Sandersonia.

As soon they left, Blaize shifted his attention to the Marine soldiers behind him, his eyes turned sharp. Especially, looking at Regis and Rosinante's reluctant eyes as if they lost their soul with Hancock's departure.

Flashing behind them, Blaize kicked them in the butt. The force behind the kick directly cast them into the sea, rousing them from their stupor.

"Blaize-san..." They looked at him with guilty.

"Since your mental fortitude is so weak, I am intensifying your training by two times, and you two are not allowed to board the ship before sunset."

"What? Blaize-san, please, we don't want to become food to those beasts." They are in Calm Belt, if they stay in the water for some time they are bound to attract the Sea Kings.

"I will hold you two responsible if the Sea Kings damage the ship!" Leaving the cruel words, Blaize then looked at the marine soldiers who all had their heads facing the floor.

"Our Marine reputation went down the drain because of your actions! As a Marine, we should have a strong heart. I am ashamed of you all."

--

In the Kuja palace, Hancock returned to her room and crashed into the bed deep in thoughts. "How was that marine able to resist my charm...? He's also very strong!"

Her eyes showed reluctance as this was the first time suffering a loss and that too in front of a man.

She maintains a tough and aloof demeanor out of fear of being taking advantage of again because she's a woman.

Due to her suffering as a slave and how the first man she ever saw painfully burned her back with her slave mark, Hancock is very discriminating and judgmental towards men.

Because of her beauty and strength, she is used to seeing men and women, young and old alike, fall instantly in love with her and forgive her when she acts cutely apologetic or reminds them of her beauty.

However, Blaize's appearance and displayed a complete immunity to her charms softening her arrogance.

--

Night came,

Hancock and her sisters sat in the room discussing the Warlord offer and Blaize. "Elder sis, I think you should accept the offer it would protect our tribe from the Marines and World Government as we have bounties on our head."

Marigold said, "That marine is also very strong, just he alone is enough to take us out."

Hearing her sister's advice, Hancock bit her lips. In fact, she also planned to accept the offer but after being defeated by Blaize her pride won't allow it.

Accepting it would show that she's weak. "Leave me alone. Let me think about it."

Sending her sisters out, Hancock looked herself in the mirror and slowly exposed her back that revealed the celestial dragon slave mark.

She won't forget the day that she and her sisters were captured as slaves and the sufferings and horrors they experienced flashed before her eyes.

"What a beautiful sight! I came to speak with you alone but didn't expect I would get a feast." Blaize spoke leaning in the edge of the window.

"Who?" Hancock swiftly covered her exposed back with the quilt and faced Blaize.

"You...you saw my back!" Hancock held the cloth tightly while killing intent leaked from her eyes.

"Yes...but your front is more beautiful than the back. I think I would really turn to stone if you use your ability now."

Hancock's lies and attitude towards life were because of her horrible past, she did not want to ever show weakness again to anyone. Now, Blaize has found her secret.

But, Blaize's answer caught her completely off guard as she thought he would be repulsed because of the mark.

"Do you know what this Mark means?" Hancock asked, bitting on her lips as a trace of blood appeared.

Blaize nodded his head and said without expressing any judgment on his face, "Celestial Dragons Hoof mark!"

As he answered, Hancock's body trembled as he fell to her knees breaking out in tears.

Looking at her state, Blaize spoke again. "It's just a slave mark, you shouldn't bother yourself with the past. A mark won't change the way I look at someone. I was once a slave too, you know!"

"What? Really?" Hancock asked back.

Blaize knew Hancock's state of mind right now is very unstable and vulnerable so he carefully chose his words.

"Yes," He then recounted his past and the journey he traveled after that. "I despise the World Government as I have seen their actions."

"Then why did you join the Marines, they are the World Government's lapdog?"

"You are partially right but not all the Marines follow the World Government's Absolute justice. Some of the Marines truly want to change the world into a better place.

I stay in the Marines because in the future I plan on separating the Marines from World Government control."

His words made Hancock speechless but when she was Blaize's clear eyes she knew the man in front of her with such sky-high ambition is speaking the truth.

"No wonder you command the Conqueror's Haki!"
