What followed after the fight with the babies of the Primordial Veiluris could only be described as a desperate era.
Nobody could be certain that they would be able to survive the next attack of the Primordial Veiluris' babies, when the attack would happen, or how long it would take for the Primordya Veiluris' main body to emerge in the Universe.
Nothing could be said for sure, and that was why many were afraid.
Only Nial and Dilan were able to injure the Primrodya Veiluris, but their strength hadn't been high enough to decapitate multiple heads while fighting them at the same time.
Dilan was pretty sure that the fight against the Primordya Veiluris could hardly be considered a fight because the enemy hadn't shown any intentions to kill him or Nial, but it was not as if exposing that would make a big difference in their favor to them.
In fact, it was more likely that it would have caused even more fear in the beings all over the vast Universe.
However, something was odd.
No matter how long Dilan and Nial waited, the Primordya Veiluris' main body never returned.
They didn't even see a glimpse of the main body…
The babies of the Primordya Veiluris returned twice over the course of two thousand years, but that was already it.
There were only two babies, both being the ones Nial and Dilan had encountered together before. The Primordya Veiluris didn't even think about sending more small Primordya Veiluris into their Universe.
As for the reason, nobody could tell for sure.
When they met the third time, almost two thousand years after their first encounter, Dilan, and Nial worked together to decapitate both Primrodya Veiluris' babies within seconds.
That was how strong the two Fate Changers had grown within two thousand years by focusing on their Divinities and the increment of their powers.
However, they were still not satisfied with how strong they had gotten. It was far from the might they required to deal wth the Primordya Veiluris, let alone the stronger Primordya.
The Primrodya Veiluris never spoke to them again and they didn't encounter it either.
It was almost as if the main body of the Primrodya Veiluris had never existed, in the first place.
Over the course of time, many had forgotten the horror they once felt when the names 'Veils', 'Veilures', and 'Primrodya Veiluris' were mentioned.
Yet, after a long time had passed, Veils and Veilures weren't as dangerous as before anymore because Nial and many others worked out on theories and practices to slim down the Veils using the Chaos that had been released through the appearances of the Primrodya Veiluris' babies.
The sheer amount of impure Chaos released was more than enough to be purified and used to close many Veils. Nial devoured the Veilures that passed through the other Veils and he turned their bodies into energy that would then be used to slim down more Veils.
While Nial was known by every generation that followed in the passage of time, Dilan fell into oblivion.
However, he was fine with that. In fact, Dilan was glad that he wasn't remembered too much in the passage of time.
He found out many things about his Undying Origin ability, which was also how he knew that he didn't possess the Caryon of Souls.
His True Undying Essence was more impressive, and so was the power of his Undying Divinity!
Dilan would never die, not even if nobody, not even himself, were to remember his name. That could be considered a blessing and a curse.
It was a blessing as long as he could use it to protect everyone he loved…and it would turn into a curse the moment he loved the people he held the dearest to him.
That was why Dilan had been the most focused on becoming stronger and stronger after he encountered the Primordya Veiluris for the first time.
He knew that he would have to work much harder than before to become not only the strongest in this Universe but even the other Universes.
But once more than ten thousand years passed after the last time their Universe encountered a Primordya, everyone who could still remember had only one question in their mind when the Primordya came to their mind.
Did the prophecy really exist?
Was everything just a lie to twist fate however the Universe and the Oracle demanded?
Did they plan everything, or was the prophecy just a miserable failure of a pseudo-Oracle…a fraud?
Nobody knew when the prophecy was about to come true and many lost their trust in the existence of the prophecy.
They started to live their life however they wanted, and stopped cultivating day in and day out to prepare themselves for the day when the Universe was supposed to be devoured.
Their lost trust in the prophecy turned into a new hope.
Ancients and Primordials embarked on a journey through the unknown Universe. They explored it, became stronger and they learned a lot about the Universes that were adjacent to their small and young Universe
Meanwhile, Nial and Dilan began to wonder what they were supposed to do.
Milarn was at peace, and Dilan was happy with his own family and friends around him.
There was nothing he could complain about because everything was perfect.
Little did he know that the future embraced the Undying and the Eternal Darkness tightly…
Their time would come…soon enough…
When the Fate Changers of the Universes would meet, the Primordya would fall.
The devoured Universes would be retrieved, and the Universe eater would be faced head-on.
Hoert was prophesied to die, not today, not tomorrow…but soon…and the Undying would be part of the hunters.
He was bound to get back what would be taken away from him…
The Undying was not someone who gave up easily…
After all, we're talking about Dilan Cier, right here!
