Zoravec stood in front of the grand entrance of the academy, his gaze fixed on the imposing facade that held a wealth of memories within its ancient walls. The morning sun cast a warm glow on the intricate stonework, painting the scene with a sense of renewed possibility.
As he stood there, lost in thought, he felt a presence approaching from behind. "Enjoying the view, Zoravec?" a familiar voice rang out, and he turned to see Blake approaching with an easy smile.
Zoravec's lips curled into a half-smile in response. "I suppose I am," he replied, his tone carrying a hint of nostalgia. "It's hard to believe how far we have come and got selected." Though Zoravec totally had other plans for joining the academy which differed a lot from Blake's.
Blake stepped up beside him, his eyes also fixed on the academy. "Yeah," he agreed, his gaze reflective. "From the moment we stepped through those doors as trial students to now, standing here as part of the academy's selected faculty."
A quiet pause settled between them, a moment of shared contemplation. The academy had been a place of growth, challenges, and triumphs for both of them. "It's a new day," Blake said, his voice carrying a sense of optimism. "A chance for us to receive and absorb all the knowledge from our mentors."
Zoravec nodded, his gaze softening as he absorbed Blake's words. "Indeed. And I'm eager to see the potential that lies within us, I want to unlock all the abilities and shape my destiny"
Blake's eyes gleamed with a shared enthusiasm. "It's a responsibility, but it's also a privilege," he remarked. "To be part of other's journey, to grow with them, it's something special."
Zoravec's smile grew more genuine, a reflection of the camaraderie he felt with Blake. "We have been through a lot, Blake. Now we have to unravel ancient mysteries to face our own demons. Now, it's our turn to invest effort and learn a lot."
Blake clapped Zoravec on the shoulder, a gesture of camaraderie. "And we will do it together, just like we always have." As they stood there, side by side, the academy's doors beckoned with a promise of a new day, a new chapter waiting to unfold. Zoravec and Blake shared a nod, a silent agreement to face the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.
"Shall we?" Blake gestured toward the entrance, his expression a mix of determination and anticipation. Zoravec's gaze shifted from the academy to Blake, a sense of purpose welling within him. "Let's inspire greatness," he said, his voice carrying a resolute certainty. The sun's rays illuminated their path, casting a bright path for the new day that awaited them within the academy's hallowed halls.
As Zoravec and Blake made their way further into the academy's grand hallway, the air hummed with a sense of anticipation. The academy's interior was just as impressive as its exterior, with intricate architecture that spoke of centuries of knowledge being passed down through generations.
Their footsteps echoed against the marble floors, and just as they reached the heart of the hall, a figure appeared from a side corridor, his presence commanding attention. Tall and imposing, with an aura that exuded authority, the man approached them with a confident stride.
"Zoravec, Blake," the man greeted, his voice smooth and refined. "Welcome back to the academy." Zoravec recognized him as Professor Lucian, a vampire with a reputation for his vast knowledge and expertise in the arcane arts. Despite his cool demeanour, there was a sense of warmth in his gaze as he looked at them.
"Professor Lucian," Zoravec responded respectfully, inclining his head. "It's an honor to be back to learn more."
Blake also nodded in acknowledgement. "Thank you, Professor." Blake's expression brightened, a mixture of excitement and determination.
Lucian's lips curved into a faint smile. "I have heard of your selection as official members. The academy is fortunate to have you both."
Blake glanced at Zoravec, his grin still firmly in place. "Ready for this?"
Zoravec nodded, his resolve unwavering. "Absolutely."
With a shared breath, they pushed open the door and entered the classroom. The room was spacious and well-lit, rows of desks neatly arranged facing a central podium. Chalkboards lined the walls, waiting to be filled with knowledge, and the air was filled with an air of anticipation.
At the front of the room stood Professor Elena, an elegant woman with an air of authority that was instantly palpable. Her presence commanded attention, and her warm smile put Zoravec and Blake at ease.
Professor Elena motioned for them to take their places at the front of the room. "Today, you'll be assisting me with an introductory lesson on elemental types," she explained, her gaze sweeping over the eager faces of the students. "It's an essential foundation for understanding the intricate relationships between different abilities."
Zoravec and Blake nodded in understanding, ready to dive into the lesson. As the class progressed, they found themselves drawn into Professor Elena's expertise and passion. Her explanations were clear, her examples engaging, and it was evident that she had a deep understanding of the subject matter.
Yet, amidst the satisfaction and excitement, a nagging thought tugged at the corners of Zoravec's mind. Throughout the lecture on elemental types, there had been no mention of the element of chaos—the very element that held a significant place in his own abilities. It was as if the topic had been deliberately omitted, an absence that left him both curious and uneasy.
As Blake chatted animatedly about the lesson with Professor Elena, Zoravec's thoughts turned inward. His connection to the element of chaos was a part of his identity, a source of both power and uncertainty. He had always found comfort in understanding and exploring its intricacies, yet the absence of its mention in the lecture struck him as odd.
The more he pondered, the more he realized that his own knowledge of the element of chaos was unique, something that wasn't commonly taught
