As Noah and his group proved that they indeed had the stats of a B-Rank, the attendant quickly reported this news to her superiors, as an old man wearing formal clothes quickly rushed to the room.

Noah noticed its presence, the man was even weaker than the woman, being E-Rank.

He felt quite disappointed, as he seemed to be somehow important, but was merely an E-Rank.

He had often thought that superiors would be of higher Ranks due to their money and connections, but it seemed that it was not completely the case.

But why was that no the case?

Noah thought that perhaps the man had never touched a dungeon, to begin with, or perhaps very little, as he lived in luxury being part of society instead of being a Hunter risking their life in Dungeons.

Even when all people had the option of going inside Dungeons, this society of mild safety also cultivated lazy and conceited people, those that did not strived to grow stronger because they already had the money to be protected.

Because the government hoarded all the Cores, it was possible that the man had tried to buy some but never got through it… or maybe he was simply not rich enough, similarly to Arthur and his family.

Nonetheless, Noah immediately despised the man, as he hated this kind of people that had all the money and opportunities but never took them, taking life for granted and becoming conceited humans, those that once governed the old world.

20 years after the apocalypse, society was finally coming back on track, and such people had already begun to emerge again…

Perhaps, due to the age of this man, he had survived through the Apocalypse somehow, and got into this position through underhanded methods…

However, Noah decided to not have such thoughts anymore, even though such a case might be the same for a lot of people in similar positions.

It was simply that he felt disappointed that the "higher-ups" were a bunch of ants, if he were to even look up to someone, he would only do so to those that were stronger than him, not a weakling that he could crush with a wave of his hand without even exerting any force whatsoever.

Noah imagined how easily he could completely crush this man's body into a bloody puddle of minced meat paste, but he suppressed those feelings, for now, glaring at the ant.

"Sir, Noah, right?" asked the man, he had a small gray mustache and little blue eyes.

"That's my name," said Noah.

"Ahem, I am happy to see new B-Rank Hunters after such a long time… Especially so many together! I am rather curious about how all of you managed to become B-Rank so fast based on your age… Especially because you have only been registered to enter Dungeons only… a few times. It is truly intriguing…" said the man.

"Is that so? So, can we proceed with the update of our Hunter Licenses? I also want to register a Guild in my name," said Noah.

"G-Guild?" asked the man as Noah noticed a change in his mood… it seemed that he somehow wanted Noah for something else, and hearing how he wanted to make a guild surprised him.

Maybe he thought he could convince Noah due to his young age and very poor background?

However, Noah was direct and to the point, startling him.

"Did I stutter?" asked Noah.

The man immediately noticed Noah's presence and domineering attitude, clenching his teeth as he braced himself to confront him.

"I would say that such a thing wouldn't be a good idea. Even as B-Rank it would be way better if you could join a Guild instead, especially one with a rich background and great resources to provide their members… Do you understand, Noah? For people like you who have very little capital, joining a guild with a lot of resources to provide you with a head start would be ideal…" said the man.

"…"

Noah glared at the man in silence.

"A-And I would gladly accept you in my own Guild! The Golden Guardians, if you want to! We are ranked at #15 in all of Sector D! We have our arms open for any B-Rank as talented as you bunch… If I were you, I would not slip off this amazing offer to change your future… You know, even as a B-Rank… the world is big… and there is a lot of people with more authority than you… You can't use strength for everything… Think things through and reconsider," said the man, with a grin.

An ant such as this was grinning and telling Noah that his strength was not everything in the world.

He knew deep down that there was certainly some truth to this.

He could not simply resolve everything with sheer strength.

And even more, the resources and good background that a well-established guild offered were also important.

But even then, such things did not stop him.

Noah was not going to obey anyone other than his own desires.

Working for a Guild did not suit him at all.

And he had plans to make his own guild since the moment he became a Vampire.

He was not going to become anyone's underling, even if they had greater backgrounds and resources to provide him.

He was simply going to build his own background and gather his own resources, there was no more saying into this.

His resolve was set, and there was nothing that could make him change such resolve, no matter who it was, and no matter the situation.

Noah was stubborn and prideful.

But that is why his subordinates loved and admired him.

"I will have to decline, sir. I have desired to make my own Guild since I was a child, and that is what I am going to do, thanks for the offer, however," said Noah with a mild smile, containing his burning anger.

He knew that the Golden Guardians had B-Rank, A-Rank, and even S-Rank Hunters, so he did not want to enrage nor provoke the man, even if he was an ant, he had lions protecting him…

"…Hmph. Very well then, I cannot force you, but it is on your fault to do such a foolish decision. Nonetheless, I wish you the best… Girl, bring them to the Guild Registration Area," sighed the man, as the girl nodded and led Noah and his subordinates out of the room.

The old man, whose name was Bernard Gold sat down on the couch and glared at the artifact in front of him, which had a few cracks…

"Hmph, perhaps I should get rid of these newbies… if they don't join my Guild, why would I make more adversaries than there are already? Although their guild might be new, they are B-Rank Hunters and can easily lure new people, talented people… It would be better to get rid of them while they are still weak… Sadly, my S-Rank and A-Rank Hunters are busy dealing with a Dungeon far away… and they are too many for my B-Rank Hunters… Perhaps telling them to hurry would be a good idea," thought the man, as took out a phone from his pocket and messaged the Hunters.

"…Eh? They will take a whole month… Tch. Well, it might be enough. I doubt they can grow to A-Rank in a month, that would be ridiculous… Tough… Hmm… Nah, they would not be able to. Perhaps they advanced fast to B-Rank due to luck and talent, but from B-Rank to A-Rank and then S-Rank, the gap of progression becomes immense… Perhaps they will become a bit stronger, but nothing much," laughed Bernard Gold, as he walked out of the room and went back to his office.

Meanwhile, Noah was guided by the attendant girl towards another, a large section within the building, an emptier place where there was barely any person there, they are where Guilds were registered.

The girl then gave Noah a paper which he needed to fill up, giving his information and more, which were needed to make him the Guild Master of his own Guild.

Making a Guild was fairly easy in this world, the requirements were not much, however, no Hunters below D-Rank could create a Guild, and they also needed to pay a large fee of 10 million credits.

"Now that most things are done, which name would you want your Guild to be, sir?" asked the assistant with a gentle smile, although the vampire family presence was rather overwhelming, so she was forcing it more than anything…
