407 “Would you like to get your hands dirty?”

“Which method would you prefer? Death by a thousand cuts, blood eagle or boiling?” asked Zi Xingxi while staring at the woman drenched in water with a pained expression on her face. Her chest was rising and falling weakly but she didn’t open her mouth to beg for mercy. It seemed her spirit wasn’t broken yet. She still had her pride and refused to bow to these criminals and murderers.

But when she heard Zi Xingxi’s question her back trembled subconsciously. She tugged at her restraints as fear rose in her heart. She understood the first two methods of torture but the blood eagle wasn’t familiar to her.

Zi Han, who was sitting with his feet propped up on her second chair his legs crossed at the ankles said, “Why not let her pick between the three? Since she is the mastermind she deserves a fate worse than death.” After saying this Zi Han took a long drag of his cigarette which was glowing underneath the dim light seeming very relaxed.

“Would you like to get your hands dirty?” asked Zi Xingxi while taking the cigarette from him.

Zi Han released a puff of smoke from between his lips while shrugging his shoulders. “Whatever you decide I will be fine with it,” said Zi Han with a sluggish expression.

Zi Xingxi smoked the rest of it while observing Tala from the corner of her eyes. Her face surrounded by wisps of smoke she chuckled lightly before saying, “If your father was here he would stop us, you know.”

Zi Han leaned his head back on the chair and replied, “From doing what? Smoking or killing her?”

“Both,” said Zi Xingxi while tossing the cigarette butt on the ground and stepping on it with her boot.

“Xixi!” sounded an angry roar behind her and her back stiffened. She looked up at the second floor and there was her father staring at her angrily.

.....

“You brat. You keep throwing your cigarette butts everywhere on the ship. There are on my pristine floor, in my dishes and you even burnt a hole in my vintage sheets. Do you simply exist to drive me crazy?” yelled Zi Feiji and Zi Han pressed his lips into a thin line stifling his laughter.

Zi Xingxi placed her hand on her waist and said, “But it’s my warship and I can do what I want. Besides, how do you know I did that? Why didn’t you blame him?”

Zi Han, “WTF”

“Oh, I definitely know it’s you. My sweet grandson wouldn’t do that and besides, I just caught you in the act. Also, who told you this warship belongs to you?” he yelled back holding on to the railing like he was about to jump off it at any time.

“It most definitely does. You gave it to me,” yelled Zi Xingxi and Zi Feiji had a perfect answer for that.

“You are borrowing it. Borrowing it,” said Zi Feiji and the fight escalated from there.

Zi Han pressed his index finger on his ear rubbing it vigorously. His family could get pretty loud when they wanted to. It was because of this that he couldn’t think straight anymore.

He got up and with slow yet domineering steps he walked over to Tala and kicked the chair she was sitting on down to the ground.

The loud bang from the chair falling attracted the attention of the pair of father and daughter arguing in the background and they fell silent.

They watched Zi Han take out the Executioner’s Blight and spin the hilt in his hands before slashing at Tala’s back.

The blade was extremely sharp that it could slice through a stone wall with no problem. It cut through the fabric of her clothes and the flesh at her back forming a deep laceration.

Blood began to pour out the wound as the woman cried out in pain. Zi Han cut the restraints tying her to the chair and the woman struggled to crawl away from the demon standing behind her.

Zi Han’s eyes flushed a bright red colour like that of burning embers as he stepped on her back stopping her from moving.

“I need her tied up,” he said and Secretary K who was standing behind Zi Feiji hurriedly answered, “Yes sir,” without even realizing that his address towards Zi Han had completely changed.

That is because when Zi Han was like this he instilled fear in the hearts of plenty and that is including his grandfather. Zi Feiji saw a shadow of his father in Zi Han at this moment and his father was the most terrifying person he had ever laid his eyes on. His grandson seemed to manifest the same aura at this very moment.

Zi Xingxi was so excited it made her spine tingle. This was her son. This was the bloodthirsty assassin she always wanted him to be. She looked like a really proud mama right now.

“Your son is very scary,” said Zi Feiji and Zi Xingxi shook her fists in front of her chin in excitement.

“I know,” she responded and Zi Feiji furrowed his brows while saying,

“You are weird.”

Zi Xingxi finally looked at her father and retorted back saying, “No you are weird.”

Zi Feiji, “No you... and childish too.”

Zi Xingxi, “No you are the weird and childish on-.”

“AAAAAHHHHH,” were the shrill screams coming from the woman refusing to be bound.

“Hey, will you just shut her up,” said Zi Xingxi to Secretary K but Zi Han was the one who did it.

He took out a pill from his interspatial storage and knelt right behind her forcing her to open her mouth.

Tala kept moving her head trying to bite him but Zi Han clenched her jaw tightly forcing her to open her mouth.

Zi Han force fed her the pill his expression cold and indifferent. Whenever he thought that he couldn’t be with his lover because of this woman he couldn’t help but become very angry thus he was the least bit polite.

After forcing her to swallow it he got up and wiped his hand like he had touched something filthy.
